+ -1 moreMark's design of our pool was fantastic! The landscaping redo was average/below average. He seemed to use the cheapest plants and was not very receptive to our input. We wanted some color and variety in the the back but he put in a sea of green (cheapest option). We asked for a hedge between our home and the neighbors and he put in very immature plants that he said would grow to the size we wanted. Three years later they are about a foot taller (the ones that have survived). Mark is a master at design but very much below average on follow through and detail. All of this in the context of a very substantial expense. We have continued to use his maintenance service (for now) but have been disappointed at their attention to detail. Overall, we are very happy with the main feature of our backyard (the pool) but at the same time very dissatisfied with the landscaping and attention to detail (pool tiles have fallen off, pump has gone out, shrubs have died and not been replaced, etc.). Mark's solution to our "color" request was to plant two purple lantanas that have since died. Mark certainly charges a premium for his designs but his follow through is very much lacking. The only reason he gets a B is due to the design of our pool. Otherwise it would be a C-. I would advise those looking for a creative landscaping design to hire Mark as a consultant and pay others to do the work.

+ -1 moreTore out huge roots. Replaced driveway. Added sprinklers and plants. Repaired minor damage caused by taking out the driveway. Looks GOOD. Problem is that a month later I had 5 thin cracks going across the driveway. Called for Nash to take a look. Said he would but never showed up. I didn't pursue it.
Description of Work: Tore out raised driveway due to neighbor's tree roots.

+ -1 moreI would highly recommend Nash Landscape to anyone. They are not the cheapest landscaper in town but you will definitely get what you paid for and more. They were very responsive to our questions and refreshingly attentive to the limitations of our budget. We really enjoy our new back yard and will be asking them back to do more.
Description of Work: We recently decided to transform our empty sand-lot of a back yard into a pleasant and peaceful place composed of something besides dirt. We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted and had seen the back yards done on the TV home improvement shows and knew that we couldn’t afford to go that route. We had some ideas but needed someone to fine tune them. We looked at quite a few landscape companies in El Paso and finally settled on Nash Garden & Landscape. We contacted Nash and, after a short time, they returned our calls and arranged for us to talk with the owner, Mark Nash. He came over and looked at our yard and we told him our ideas and goals. It was obvious that he was very knowledgeable about landscaping and came up with a proposal that was simple, elegant, and peaceful and within our budget. Mark’s solution would give us not only a very nice back yard but one that we could enhance over time as we desired. We gave them the go-ahead and they accomplished the task quickly and professionally. They were very considerate of the neighborhood and waited until a reasonable hour to do the work and when they left they always left the property in better condition than when they arrived.

+ -1 moreMark has put in an outdoor fireplace, a pergola, grass, flagstone, and plants.
Description of Work: Mark's work is beautiful! I have had Mark landscape two homes, and I would have him do it again. I give him creative freedom, but because of the cost we often have to do it in stages. Mark needs you to call him often just to get started, but when he is ready, he will have 20 guys on your lawn and work like crazy. If you can handle having to call him a lot, then you will be very satisfied with the outcome.

+ -1 moreOver the summer, we have spent about $70000 in total. They did a really good job in creating a nice backyard for us. The environment is very nice and very upscale. We are very happy with the way it has turned out.
Description of Work: Landscape By Nash comes by on a weekly basis but the last big project was about 3 weeks ago. They redid our back yard, and put in waterfall and a pool.
