Description of Work: I had them replace all the windows in my house, I had them stucco the entire outside of my house, they put a sprinkler system in the yard, I had them screw a security system on the outside of the house.

Description of Work: We had a older house, that we wanted to get it ready before we moved. They replaced our windows, they put new outside doors on the side and back of the house. They installed a iron door on the house as well.

Description of Work: Armando and his crew created and built a cedar fence and lattice for the west side of my house. He also created a wrought iron structure for my porch. They sealed the cedar. It is beautiful. He was great to offer advise and ideas that would improve what I wanted. They were always on time. Very honest.

Description of Work: I hired them to refurbish the house after it was completely burned. He took the walls out and all the aluminum siding off the side of the house and garage. He stoled the lights that she had brought.

Description of Work: We were looking to expand our kitchen and master bath and re-model our guest bath. Armando (JKK proprietor) gave me an estimate that was the lowest of 3 contractors I contacted. An approximately 350 sq/ft addition was built onto the back of my house. The kitchen and master bath was completely gutted and both rooms were nearly doubled in size (esp the master bath). The kitchen counter was expanded and finished into a peninsula 2-person breakfast nook that also has a 5-burner stovetop with stand-alone outside-vented hood. In-wall double oven across from the stovetop. All appliances stainless, custom cabinets and granite countertops (all bought separately). Armando recommended the cabinet maker and stone mason for the countertops--they did a fabulous job!! The expanded dining area ends into a bay window. The master bathroom was tiny until Armando's crew finished the job. We now have a corner Jacuzzi tub and glass stand-alone shower along with a tucked away toilet that offers privacy. Plenty of frosted windows gives the master bath an open, Roman-style feel. We also had JKK install a 6' double-sink vanity with granite top and gooseneck faucets. They also installed a pre-fab 140 cubic foot 2-person dry sauna in the master bath which is my favorite! The electrical work was extensive with the addition located as far as it was from the existing breaker box. The electrician Chris, who was hired by Armando was outstanding and easy to work with. He added a 200 amp box so there's plenty of room for future electrical expansion. There has been no issues with any of the electrical work. JKK also installed a single French door in the master bedroom opening into a small Trex deck which both were included in the estimate. Also included was a 5 ton Trane refrigeration unit (converted from swamp coolers to refrigeration) and a new furnace. JKK also subbed-out the complete re-roofing of our home with 30-year Owens-Corning composition shingles (they look great)!! The guest bathroom was also gutted and a new granite top vanity installed along with a Kohler corner shower with double sliding glass doors. All labor including painting and tile work was performed in the contract. The original contract was for $67,000 but there were some upgrades that pushed the labor costs up (installing around 1500 4" Italian wall tiles in both bathrooms, installing the hood vent, and laying laminate wood floor throughout the rest of the house was some of the more labor intensive items that were not part of the original quote and it was understood by both parties. The job took much longer than expected but there was a lot of work done to our home. Armando was available to call (and he was called a lot) and when he didn't answer, would call back most times before I could leave a voice message. If Armando's crew were not sure about something, they would ask me to be sure it was what I wanted BEFORE they did the work. This eliminated a lot of wasted effort and frustration. 5 windows, a French door, and a sliding pocket door from the master bedroom to the master bath were included in the estimate.
