Lawn mowed, weeds pulled, bushes and trees trimmed

Great job, Francisco arrived the afternoon prior, conducted a thorough review of what we wanted completed and gave me a reasonable estimate. He arranged for the team to arrive the following day. The gentlemen were very respectful and did a great job cleaning up the yard and addressing the areas previously mentioned. The response time was fantastic, overall I am very satisfied with JFC Lawn Services and would highly recommend them.

A man met with my husband a few days ago to see all to be done and get a quote. He was hired on the spot and we were scheduled for 9:30 AM 2 days later. They didn't show up or call. So at 10:15 I called and was told that the man who met with my husband had mixed up their schedule and it would really be somewhere around 11:30. At about 12:15, they arrived but didn't know what all they were supposed to do and then had to contact the man my husband met with. Now all this sounds bad, however, the men were all very nice and handled most everything we needed very well. They were supposed to be here for a 2 hour job, but needed to run over about 30 minutes...so our original quote had to be adjusted a bit due to that. The cleanup was rushed and since they used a blower in the backyard, all that dust and debris that they didn't pick up by hand wound up in our pool and koi pond. So, I cleaned that up myself along with sweeping areas that were not sufficiently blown or tidied from the debris. In all, we were satisfied with the amount of cleanup that had to be done and will probably hire them again. The crew was very professional. I would recommend they coordinate better with their scheduler and that the cleanup be handled better for people with pools and ponds. Blowers cause more mess than necessary.

They showed up earlier than scheduled which is great. Also, the worker that mowed across my oriental carpet told his manager who immediately told me what happened. The manager said if he knew about it yesterday, he would have knocked on my door to tell me or left a note. The manager said he was wrong in not closely checking the finished work. I could see how that happens as you trust your workers and assume they do a great job. I told Andrew I was hesitant in having them continue my lawn service, and he understood. Andrew wanted to make it right by me and said he would give free service to cover the cost of the rug. I have agreed. I said I would update my review based on our meeting. Andrew did the right thing, admitted his worker was wrong and they both apologized. I will continue the service and will watch it closely.

Everything looked great and they even pulled a bunch of weeds in our gravel areas. Almost looked like they spread out the rocks a little better in some areas. Good job

They responded that they would come by at 6pm the next day to give me a quote. They never showed up or called me to reschedule. Also I will say, most of their competitors did the same. This seems like the norm for most service companies in this town for some reason. *Update* This company did stop by my house the following day and gave me a pretty decent and reasonable quote, that was better then most. I am currently considering using them for the service. I will update on quality if I use them.

Before any work was done, I met with Fernando to get an estimate. I thought the price was very fair for all the work that had to be done. He sent a crew of 3 men, and they were right on time, very professional. They kept checking with me to make sure I was happy with the way the trees and bushes were cut. They cleaned everything up when they were finished. I was very happy with the service and I would use them again.

They were done at 2:15 actually doing more than I expected. Very good job and they also were polite and professional. One of the men explained other services they have available if in the future I would like to have any of them done. I will use them again.

Owner was very responsive about call and explained charges before start of service. I was surprised when he showed up with 6 people to help with project, since he charged $40 per 30 minutes of service. As long as I told his guys exactly what I wanted, their response was positive and speedy. Hedges, flower beds and lawn looked great when finished and they cleaned our pool as well as they could when finished. Removal of dead hedges was fast and roots also removed. Great service and attitude! Very pleased and will use again if needed.

JFC Lawn Service sent 3 men to prune fruitless Mulberry tree in backyard which was in bad need trimming. Took them approximately 3 hours to complete job. They are higher than most lawn services I have done business with but do a quality job and are generally punctual

Service price less than quoted - fast service. Removed weeds and dead bushes. Sprayed with Roundup. Cooperative and professional employees. Very pleased with price and service.

The owner came by for an estimate for work. He was very professional and explained exactly how the pricing works. He explained everything that would be done. We set up an appt for two days after. Work crew showed up and completed the job quickly. Everything was cleaned up. When I called about payment, the receptionist told me that I would get the bill in the mail. When I did, much to my surprise it was less than I expected. The crew had finished early didn't try to claim an extra hour that was initially quoted. I will definitely use JFC again.

I like them very much. They are very concise, do exactly what I ask them to do, here on time, prompt, very reasonable and do a great job. They are very polite and nice.

When they used their blowers to clean up the back yard, they blew all the dust and debris into my swimming pool. I made them clean it up, but the dust settled to the bottom. They tried to say it was my fault, I should have scheduled the swimming pool service after their visit.

They were very professional, very fair, and very honest. For the spring clean-up, they quoted a price based on an estimate it would take 5 hours. It took even less time and they brought the cost down as a result. We were not even here when the service was performed. I appreciated his honesty and I would highly recommend him.

The service did a great job with the lawn mowing and trimming, but they ran over my garden hose and were careless with the landscape lights- several of them were pushed out of place and one was broken. The owner argued with me about his responsibility for the damage, and he claimed that perhaps the hose and lights had already been damaged before his crew came to do the work! It really angered me that he tried to shift the responsibility to me. In the end he agreed to replace the garden hose but refused to contribute to the cost of replacing the damaged landscape lights. I will never use them again.

I called several different companies and with the holidays did not expect a reply until after the New Year but Fernando Cervantes called me back and quoted a regular service price of $40/per service - I offered $150 for the initial clean up as it has been quite some time since the place was cleaned up and there were large amounts of debris and dead branches and trash. He told me they would do that amount of work and send before and after pictures - we arranged that I would mail a check. Mr. Cervantes called me this afternoon to tell me they had finished this morning and he sent pictures - I told him that I had mailed the check yesterday - I am very pleased with the work done and plan on having them come out monthly to maintain the premises. My father died four years ago and that is the last time any real yard work had been done - I would recommend this company to anyone in the valley that wants quality service for a fair price.

They arrived on the date agreed upon and got to work right away. At first I was skeptical about them charging by the 1/2 hour, but those guys didn't fool around and went right to work. The mentioned price above was agreed upon after an estimate. My yard (front and back) has not been worked on since Oct. of 2010 so even with the zeroscaping, it was still quite a bit of work. The team finished both the front and back yard relatively quickly. At first glance, it seemed like they did a fantastic job. However, upon closer inspection of the front yard, I saw that there were still a bunch of leaves stuck between the rocks, which I thought they would have sucked up using a leaf vacuum. I spoke to the team about this but they told me they did not have a leaf vacuum available and used the leaf blower and picked up some more of the leaves by hand. The back yard was a much more simple project, as we do not have landscaping installed yet. they pulled out the weeds then blew the debris into a corner and picked it all up then raked the dirt. They got most of job done and again, it looked satisfactory. However, due to the rains we received recently, there has been a small flare up of weeds again so I'm not sure exactly how well they really cleaned the back yard.

I have been using JFC periodically in the past year to take care of my front and back lawns. They usually come out with a 3-man crew for 30 minutes and charge $40 for the session (new price). They are very responsive and can show up within a day or two when you call up. Quality of work is good and if they need more than 30 minutes, they would call and obtain your approval first before proceeding.

.They are very good at what they do. Their office management is very organized,very responsive and professional. They do exactly what you want them to do.
