That went good. They were professional, bilingual, and had an actual stone mason as well.

Noy and his co-worker, Daniel, were polite, professional and efficient. The yard looks great, cleaned up after themselves. Price was good. Repaired/replaced damaged/broken drip system. I usually do my own yard work, but have reached a time when I needed help removing those trees and these guys were just the ticket. If need more work, will call again and will certainly pass their name around.

They delivered the rocks we selected from their show room one day. They came out the next day and laid down an anti weed mat in the backyard and spread the rocks evenly over the backyard. They installed about seven to eight yards of gravel and rocks.

The actual landscaping crew was fantastic! They were very punctual, professional, and hard working. They did not delay in getting the work done. They kept at the job even in scorching heat. Many, many, kudos to Rudy, who was the head of our landscaping crew. I'd hire these guys independently any time if I could. My issue lies with the planning staff. When we originally sat down we agreed on a curved brick divider and a preliminary drawing was completed ( we weren't given a final drawing and I should have asked for one). Unfortunately, what resulted was a perfectly straight brick divider. When I contacted the planning staff, they said it was straight and didn't remember us discussing a curved divider. They also said that since the job had just been completed (I called as soon as I noticed it was straight), there was absolutely nothing that could be done. I was also told that I should have been watching them at every point of the project (the divider went up fast) even though we were initially told that we could just leave the gates open and didn't have to be around (FYI, we were home most of the days and all the work I occasionally checked on was going great...the divider work went so fast, that I didn't get to see which way it was going). When I spoke with the crew, they showed me a drawing that had a straight divider rather than a curved one, so it wasn't their fault. If you decide to use these folks, make sure that you review the final drawing with the staff and the crew before proceeding with the job. If you don't, the staff is not flexible in making changes. Nonetheless, even though we didn't get exactly what we wanted (which I feel we should have for $4K), the landscaping crew did such a quality job that the final result is still very nice.

We had Jand J come and lay down crushed rock on the side of my house, plus make our patio bigger with concret. I was told it would take 2 days and it took a week of me calling to get them to come back and finish for one. They didn't level and of the ground before pouring the concret so now my patio is unlevel. They left trash all over my back yard and when I told them to come back they tried to cover it with dirt instead of picking it up! Very lazy people and I couldn't even get them to give a discount

They were reasonably priced. They were great. They did what they said they would. They were in and out like he said. I was happy with them. I would use them again.

Not responsive

Went very well, no problems occured. Done in the time they allotted. Cleaned up very well after completing the task. Replaced for free all broken sprinkler heads!

I called and a very helpful young lady got my information and stated that she needed to call a contractor for the service I was requesting ( sprinkler system work). The young lady called me back and stated that they were available at 1400. I kept my phone on me to make sure that I did not miss a phone call from them and I never heard anything. No phone call and no show. I gave a C for professionalism because the young lady was helpful and professional but the contractor is the reason for the negative review.

We called for a quote on Thursday and made an appointment for a quote on Monday, 13 Jan 2014. We had the quote on Tuesday and everything was scheduled to start work on Monday 20 January 2014. The job took exactly 3 days as promised. I love my backyard. The crew was prompt, friendly and professional. Best experience with landscaper ever!

My experience with J and J Landscaping was good. They're all right. They're not the best, but they're all right. The only thing I needed was an irrigation man for the system. I needed a licensed irrigation man. I was his assistant because I have one of those irrigation tech certificates. All I needed him was just to make sure I wasn't going to get caught. That's why I used him. I did most of the work. He came when I needed him. He came on time.

they removed alot and dirt. Leveled out ground put in sprinkler system and sod. They cleaned out flower bed and put in 22 bushes and rock.

From the estimate to starting to work on the job working with J and J was really easy. Mr. Rick Lomeli was great to work with. He had a lot of great ideas and really seemed to be interested in what I wanted as a customer. I asked TONS of questions (it being my first home and all) and he was really patient and wasn't afraid to give his own opinions and suggestions which I loved. Very responsive through phone and e-mail. Punctual and followed up with me at the end of the first day. I highly recommend them.

Everything went off as scheduled, it looked like they were going to be a litlte short on the crushed rock and after talking to the boss man on site he went back to business and picked up another yard of crushed rock of which they almost used entirely to finish the job. I would recommend this business highly based on the services and cost provided and the fact that they have been in business for 28 years here in El Paso

I have got estimate for flagstone planters (2) approx. 4 weeks before scheduled work. Workers show up a day late- no problem. They did good job for two days until finishing up, they used exesive amount of mortar to level up top stones, they forgot to use colored grout so gaps were all grey color. I call manager about unfinished work, he come out maybe few days later and admited that job was not in specification we agreed on. He promised to corect mistakes without any problems- I like that. They show up approx. week later to re-grout top of the planters, it come out ok, unfortunately for me, not what I had in the mind. They never replaced mortar with the flagstone- I did not like that. Next time I'll hire someone else.

These guys installed our landscaping two years ago and did okay. It wasn't exactly what we wanted but it turned out okay. Well, now two years later we've found that the sprinkler heads don't come up high enough, there are two heads leaking, and the computer is messed up. For two months now we've been trying to get them to come out and repair the system, but the sub-contractor NEVER shows up when he says he will or when I've been assured by the owner that they will. They have a one-year warranty, which they honored when 1/2 the original plants died after one year, but we are willing to pay for the work now since it is out of warranty. I'm upset that they tell me they will be here, I take time off work or lock up my dogs for them, yet they never show. I have a new company coming out tomorrow.
