FABRICS WEST

Fabrics West was hired to make from material I provided a custom comforter, bed skirt, king size shams and Euro shams. King size shams are excellent, bed skirt is excellent. Euro shams were made as throw pillows with no envelop opening. When I asked that be corrected, I was charged an additional fee. Shams have openings, period. When the bed skirt was delivered, the comforter was not included. I called to ask about it. The person who came to measure told me I had already picked it up. When I tried to explain how I knew I had not, she yelled at me. I had to cut the conversation short by telling her that I would come to the shop and pick the comorter up the next morning, to have it ready. When I called the next morning to see if it had been located, I also asked that any extra material be returned. I than wene tot he shop to get the comforter. The installer put the ?comforter? in my car. The person I had dealt with just walked away without a word of explanation. As soon as I unfolded it to put it on the bed, I knew it was too big. The ?comforter? is a bedspread. It touches the floor. Comforters only cover the mattress. The Fabrics West representative measured mattress to make the custom comforter. Either they measured incorrectly or incorrectly instructed employees on size. I received a king size bedspread instead of a comforter. I asked if she would reduce the size at no additional charge and she said she would if I measured the mattress. She refused to accept responsibility for a poor job. Since they are doing the work, they should measure. She only wants another out for her mistake. She blamed the fabric on the mistake; blamed the mattress, blamed me. I requested that the mattress be measured again to ensure a proper fit. I was told they would not send the installer to do it because she did not want to pay him overtime. The representative told me she would check her schedule and see when she could fit me in. Then she again blamed me. She said I accused them of not returning the fabric. When I told her that was not related to the incorrect size of the ?comforter? she said she would check her schedule, dismissing me. I paid for a king size comforter, not a bed spread. Fabrics West should make this right.
