Encore General Contracting

The work took several weeks. When we questioned the quality of the work William became very angry and offered to leave the job. He was supposed to pay us back for materials not used. We never saw the money. We had to pay to get the dumpster taken out of our driveway. They put interior sheetrock on the carport ceiling. We had to have that ripped out and replaced. They owe us at least $1,000. Do not recommend.

THEY HAVE ALL THE MONEY!!!! Last year we found a contractor that would help us build a pool house. William Mendoza (partner) and Amber Clark (owner/partner) of Encore General Contracting, located at 421 Granada, El Paso, 79912, 915-526-0336 or 915-213-8420. They worked on the project from Jan 2020 til about April 2020, at which time the Covid hit and contractors stopped working, unfortunately these folks collected all the funds for the project and could not complete the job, they will not return the funds and therefore, a lawsuit and complaints to the BBB have been filed. Please be aware of these people, they claim to be a corporation - which they are not, they provided a bond that was not valid, they present themselves as professionals with the knowledge to do the job. After several inspections, we have found that not only did they not understand the construction aspect, they also did not understand how to manage the money. The foundation was poured and we are in search to find Mr. Ramirez to clarify the process he used, cant find him. So we are in the process of looking for a skilled contractor to finish this job.
