This company is highly responsive. Came out the same day gave us an estimate. Returned the same day and placed a brand new garage door within hours. Prices are great!. Very, professional. Highly recommend this company!

This company gave me the best estimate on the garage door opener. First day I told them the time window, (and they agreed to it) with the absolutely last time I could be there; I waited 15 minutes past the time, and then had to leave. They arrived late, but left a card. That evening I called again, to reschedule. Silly me. The lady promised to call me the next morning with a narrower window. For stupid, I waited at the house ALL MORNING, waiting for her call. No call. I called at 1:30 to cancel the appointment. When I called, no explanation was forthcoming. I wasted more money waiting for the guy than if I would have gone with his higher priced competitors. And reading the other experiences, I now see it has happened to other people.

Perfectly. We scheduled a time, they were at our residence promptly at time of appointment, extremely reasonable price and fixed the problem in no time at all.

They are very good. They were right on time, professional, reliable and their price was good.

UPDATE: Art Garcia called back to personally verify that the work was done and done to my satisfaction. In my experience, this doesnt happen often especially after the check has been cashed. I was very pleased with the service and the follow up, and I was assured that should anything go wrong or if I need additional service, I will be well cared for. When I replace this door in the future, Art has my business. *************** Estimate: They were great. The owner was very responsive and came out the next day for an estimate. Over the phone, he seemed to know what the problem was before I finished describing the issue, and while here he immediately noted that the door was not reinforced the way he would have installed, and recommended two additional reinforcement bars for $175 or total door replacement for $575. I mentioned that I found them on Angie's List, and the owner sheepishly admitted that there was one bad review and that it was completely his fault. He let that slip through the cracks and the reviewer was 100% correct in their assessment. I told him that I chose El Paso Door Co because of his response to that bad review. Every company makes mistakes, yet I get so tired and frustrated with companies that do not work with the customer to correct the mistakes and become argumentative about the issues (have had a few of these recently). The owner assured me that he would make sure that I was completely satisfied with the repair work, and should I have the door replaced at a later date, he would deduct the repair cost from the replacement costs. He also said that he guarantees his work for one year, and that should a spring break, he would come out and replace and only charge me for the cost of the spring and not the labor. He seemed very enthusiastic about ensuring my satisfaction which is a nice change of pace after having multiple management companies and contractors here at this property that care very little about quality and satisfaction. Work: They came back to the house the following business day and within an hour made the repairs. The technician was very professional and quick. During the repair process he found that the track had an issue causing the cutoff switch to fail. Due to other major renovations in the house, we did not want to tack on another $600 for the motor and new track, on top of $575 for an entire new door. The tech was ingenious in spending an additional 20 minutes rigging up a work around. He mentioned that it won’t last forever, but could last a few months until we are ready to rehab the garage. The door is over 20 years old, so the issues are not unexpected, and although the door is still old and worn up close, the repairs are complete, the door looks and functions normally, and I am very satisfied with the entire process. The technician also took time to tighten loose bolts and test the garage a few times to ensure that it was working properly as well as making sure I was satisfied with the job. Overall: I would recommend the company, and I will be using them again in the future when we replace the garage door. The owner was clearly upset that he had made such a terrible mistake with the other reviewer here on Angie’s list, but I think these guys are worth a second shot. The owner cares about his company, and cares about customer satisfaction which is a whole lot more than you can say about many home improvement contractors. And if you do use this company and have a complaint, I highly recommend talking to Art about the issue and I am 100% sure that he will do everything he can to correct the issue and make sure that you’re a happy customer in the end.

Once I noticed my garage door spring was broken I knew I needed a professional to fix it. I looked on Angie's List and found the El Paso Door Company. I first called them around 8:30am on Monday. The person I spoke to told me he would get the schedule and call me right back....no call came. I called in the mid afternoon and left a message with the company.....no response. Finally I called again and a lady answered. She stated that she didn't have my correct phone number (odd since I had left it twice for them) but we set the appointment for 9am the next day (Tuesday). Tuesday 9am came and went with no one to fix my garage door. I called the company at 9:15am asking for confirmation of my appointment. They claimed that someone was on their way out to my house. I waited until just before 10am and then I left. I got a call from someone named "Angel" stating that he was in front of my house at 10am. I told this person that I had left because my appointment was for 9am...not 10am. He asked if I wanted to reschedule for later in the afternoon or the next day (all I could think was "fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on ME!" So of course I laughed and said I would get someone else to fix it. Here is a word to this company - you are not the only game in town. If you run your business this way eventually you will be out of business. Good luck.

The guy came on Saturday morning, installed the garage door, and cleaned up all the mess. All in all, they did a wonderful job.

Garage door was damaged when backing car out, support rails loosened and door would no longer open and close properly. Call was placed and service arranged. Everything went smoothly and the price was fair

Great! Called and they arrived the same day. Got the job done that afternoon. They were pleasant and professional. They also gave us advice about maintaining our garage door while inspecting and maintaining the mechanical parts. Very happy with their service.
