+ -1 moreUsed them to repair a water damaged cabinet. They were quick to respond and the actual repair took less time then they stated. I am very happy with their work. There is a charge for estimates, but they come to your home to do the estimate. Additionally, they pickup and return all furniture free of charge.

Description of Work: I called this provider on at least three occasions. The first two times I had to leave a message on the answering machine. I never received a call back. On the third try, I talked to the owner. He said he would come and take a look at my china cabinet to see what kind of repair it needed. He said he would be here between 9:30 & 10 AM today. As of now (11:51 AM), no one has shown up. I will not call him again. I will look elsewhere.

+ -1 moreDoctors of Furniture refinished an antique full-sized bed headboard and footboard. The side railings had been lost and they made new ones. I was so satisfied with their work I also had them refinish my kitchen table and five chairs. Their quality workmanship, punctuality and professionalism will definitely keep me going back to them for all my furniture restoration needs.

+ -1 moreHe was suppose to come back. He did a piece of furniture for me and he said he would call me back to do the other pieces and he has not called me back. He did not quite do a good job the first time and then he did come out and re did it. They are nice.

+ -1 moreI called Doctors of Furniture and they came out the next day and gave me an estimate and took the buffet. El Paso experienced several dusty days which delayed the process of refinishing the buffet, but the wait was well worth it. The repaired and refinished oak buffet is absolutely beautiful. I have some other pieces that I will have Doctors of Furniture repair and refinish.
Description of Work: I had my Grandmother's 100 year old buffet restored and Doctors of Furnitue did an amazing job. My only regret is that I didn't take a "before" photo to show everyone the difference.

Description of Work: contacted owner reference repair of an office chair... Owner advised that he did not do that type of repair he recomended another individual who did the specific repairs i needed. when i contacted other person he was prompt considerate and fairly priced. as the work is still in progress i must wait to evalueate

Description of Work: After researching on Angie's list and seeing the positive feedback regarding this company I attempted to contact Doctors of Furniture three separate times to obtain an estimate on refinishing a dining room table and six chairs. After the third attempt in a week to contact the company, the last being on 9 Nov 12, and having left messages after each call, I am sorely disappointed in the lack of response. I find it highly unprofessional to not even return the call.

+ -1 moreI had an heirloom desk handed down 3 generations (so far) refinished. Mr. Rizo did an amazing job. It was a total transformation of the piece and I am thrilled with the outcome. He was very nice and kept me informed at every step. I have a very crazy schedule and he was very gracious in accomodating me and my family. I will definately use his services again!
