The owner came on Saturday morning to give me an estimate. On Monday morning four workers arrived and worked for about 3 hours. They performed the task described above. They were polite and efficient.
Description of Work: They removed old rock and lining from my cactus garden. They sprayed area with herbicide and applied new lining and rocks.

I would tell people to steer clear from is Desertaire Contractors. Absolutely stay away. They build a rock wall for me and it was a nightmare. I had used them before and they were good that time, but when the built the wall, it was a nightmare. It got to the point that I was glad to get them off my property. The man from Desertaire said he had messed up and he should have charged us twice the amount. That's the amount we were told, so too bad. I went out there and found that the wall wasn't level. I had to fight with him about that. They redid a flower bed for me. I told them I knew that had to cut down my rosemary, but that I didn't want them to take it completely out. But they took it out. So I had to stay after him two or three times to make him replace my plants. I had to go to them a second time about the flower bed because it wasn't level. Just looking at it, you can tell it slants. The thing that was very frustrating was that when you did have a problem, he immediately went to argue it. I almost wonder about the things he told me, if he hadn't lied about some things. It got to the point that I was extremely frustrated with him. We kept some of his fee, because we weren't going to give it to him without him completing the job. By the time he was through, he was glad to be of my property and I was glad to see him gone. I had said something to his workers and he told me I shouldn't have done that. He was like, "My workers didn't do that." But they did. I'm not crazy. This bush was a full bush, now it's a stump. He has no professionalism at all. It was so uneven. We're talking four to six inches, from one end to the other. Every time I talked to him, he argued with me. He shouldn't treat his customers like that. I would tell people steer clear and don't even to near him. He did a wall for me before and it fell apart while they were building the newer wall. I'm going to get that repaired now, but I won't go to him.
Description of Work: They built a rock wall for us.

The outcome of the above services were horrible. The patch in the stamped concrete didn't even come close to matching. The patch turned out be brown instead of the terra cotta color. The worker just used the side of the trowel to draw lines in the cement. The drip irrigation was the only thing that was fixed to my satisfaction. I was so upset with dealing with these people that I paid them, after a reduction in price agreed on, just to get them off of my property. I had them out previously to give me an estimate on a landscaping job and am glad I never decided to go with them. I would never recommed this company to anyone as they are very very bad.
Description of Work: Patch 2 foot by 3 foot hole in stamped concrete wher plumber had to cut to repair water leak. Fix drip irrigation system for one planter. Clean, repair and repaint pond portion of backyard waterfall.

Description of Work: I hired this company to remove crushed stone from a garden area, replace the drip system in the garden and cover the garden with weed resistant plactic and then Cedar chips. At first the company showed up on time but this gradually slacked off as progress was made with the work. They damaged and removed several plants that they were not supposed to and had to be approached about it before they agreed to replace them. Within one week of the supposed completion of the work there was a mass of weeds growing up in the garden. Additionally they put down a very thin coat of Cedar chips and there were several bare spots throughout the garden. They returned and sprayed the garden with a weed killer and then brought in more of what they called Cedar Chips. In fact they used recycled pine shreddings that they spred throughout the garden. I had to demand that they remove the entire coating and replace it with fresh Cedar Chips.

Horrible!
Description of Work: Absolutely horrible. The side of our house leaked due to the excessive rain and the fact that our side walk was built higher than the slab of our house. David Delgado came out and said he had done this type of repair before and that it would be no problem. He lied. He repaired the wall and as soon as it finished it leaked again. He then repaired it again and it also leaked. I asked him to tell me the truth if he had ever done this work.... He said no. I asked what we should do and he said he would return the money. As of today he has only returned $800 of the $1500 he owes me. He will not return calls and he will not acknowledge the fact that he screwed up. I ended up paying $4000 to fix his mess up. At one time I caught him and his employees drinking beer on the job. Unfortunately he is not the only person to do horrible work in El Paso and leave people stranded.

Poor Service, very unprofessional, did not keep original appoinment time, did not call to say he was going to be late, did not bring material requested, and did not give estimate was too busy trying to put out another fire. It was a waist of time.
Description of Work: None never got an estimate. Called Desertaire Contractors for an appointment and asked David Delgado owner to bring picture of his work. Set appointment for 10:00am Saturday morning. Not only was David two hours late to the appointment, he also did not bring the book with pictures from previous work. While getting estimate from David other neighbors on the same street had complaints about David's work and he left our estimate appointment to handle and discuss matters with an unhappy customer across the street.
