I bought a house from Classic American Homes (2019) and since I moved in I’ve had problems with the electricity. They have sent the electricians to fix it but same problems restart. It’s been almost 3 years and still having problems with this and now they just outright refused to accept responsibility because it’s out of warranty. It might be out of warranty but this problem began as soon as I moved in.

When we first went to see the property, we fell in love with the house since it had everything we would need as a first time buyer. The home was furnished as a model home and once we heard they would sell that specific home we went to sign a purchase agreement. In that initial meeting, the seller's agent said that we would get a $500 allowance for the front yard and a $1000 allowance for our choosing. We now find out that since there was already rock in the front area (not our choosing) we loose the $500 front yard allowance. The gas meter was not installed on the home so we called and scheduled for it to be put in and got with the Classic's sales rep and let her know what day it was scheduled for. We were told that it wouldn't be a problem and that they would have the doors open and available for the install. You guessed it...doors locked and no gas meter installed causing us to reschedule and my wife waiting in her van the second time until they got there just to be sure. Throughout the whole process every time we asked for help in scheduling something or getting something taken care of they were not once accommodating. When my wife, friend, and realtor finally went to do the walkthrough and dot the home, they were met by a person who made numerous racial and derogatory remarks causing my wife's friend to feel like she had to leave to get her husband cause the guy "assisting" with the walkthrough was so rude. Our friends and my wife later told me he was trying to joke about the imperfections in the house by stating "we hire Mexicans and they don't all know how to read instructions." Well my wife is Mexican as well as our friends that were with her. We did hire a home inspector who stated that the home had less issues than most homes he inspects. That is not to say the house was flawless but I also know that nothing is ever flawless. Altogether, the unprofessional responses that were given by the builder's representatives, the length of time it took for them to finally allow us to close, the three or four times we had to reschedule things around their schedule not them scheduling around us as buyers, and the lack of attention to detail, I definitely would not recommend them and have ALREADY recommended AGAINST them to a few people cause they don't know good customer service. Knowing this, I definitely would have paid more for less of a house and better effort in customer satisfaction.
Description of Work: We recently purchased a new home from Classic American. Other than the initial home viewing and final closing it was an absolute disgrace! Initially I felt very comfortable with them but over time I realized all they care about is another sale, not taking care of a paying customer.

They built our house. They changed our closing date three times. I would not use them again.
Description of Work: They turned on our air conditioning.
