Description of Work: I bought two leather recliners. They were on sale. The delivery was prompt and the set up was fast and easy. Over all we are still enjoying our two chairs.

Description of Work: This is a middle to high end furniture store. Selection is great. Not crazy about overall policies/attitude at the top, however all experiences with staff has been excellent.

Description of Work: BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS!!!!! I went on MLK day to look for a piece of furniture in their winter clearance sale. I priced 2 pieced- a hutch that measured 5 feet by 89 inches high and 20 inches deep. It had the deep discount red priced tag on it for $890 plus change. It had some chipped paint on the knobs and the door hinges were not tightly placed so I assumed that the mark down price was because of the defects in the piece. Cory, who was very attentive and helpful, reviewed the price of 890 plus change and told me I would be getting a very good deal as it was about 1/3 of the original price. She told me I could complete the transaction via phone and have the piece delivered today. I needed to measure the space in my dining room to see if it could be accommodated. I had to work for 36 hours and the soonest I could get back in today. Apparently they thought they dodged a bullet or had a sucker on the hook---in that a new higher price was nowoin a tag of a different color, in ink of a different color-not the deep discount red-and it was marked $500 higher. Cory went and got the owner her to try t make it right, but the owner refused and sent her back with a pitch that maybe I had mis-remembered another one that was "sold"...one that I had not inquired about because I was not interested in it! I gave the owner an opportunity to make it righ.I called her. She missed the call but returned one a couple of hours later.. She then was rude and kept telling me I had remembered wrong and must have been thinking about the smaller piece which I remember seeing on Monday as well but not having any nterest in it. She kept telling me insultingly that I was permitted to come yet again to the store ( which I have no intention of ever entering again) to verify that I had "mis-remembered" the piece. I gave her the dimensions and asked her if the piece she was trying f on me as a person with a bad memory, had the 5'x89"x20" dimensions. This went on about 4 times and was getting old. She admitted I had the dimensions of the peice that had been offered to me at $893 but that I obviously had the pieces confused. She then told me that the discussion was over and that they were a reputable company and had been in business for years and she was proud of their service. That they would never bait and switch a piece of furniture. All I know is that the color of the tag, the color of the print AND the original price as well as the "sale" price were not the ones that I had agreed with Cory on Monday that I would consider. I know I had the dimensions correct and I know the total price of two pieces I was considering and it was $500 less than the "new total" would have been. There is no customer satisfaction here and what is repugnant is that she could have cared less in her attempt to be defensive about their actions. Her essential rudeness and lack of apology for the wasting of my time are totally unacceptable. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF!

Description of Work: PROMPT AND COURTEOUS, BOB THE REPRESENTATIVE\SALESMAN WAS THE MOST PROFESSIONAL PERSON I HAVE EVE DEALT WITH. HIS WORKERS\INSTALLERS WERE THE BEST. ALL ESTIMATE WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS FIRM TO FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS AND WILL CALL THEM AGAIN WHEN I AM IN NEED OF THIS KIND OF SERVICE AGAIN. TILES WERE INSTALLED ON THREE BATHS AND KITCHEN. CARPET WAS INSTALLED IN THREE BEDROOMS AND LIVING ROOM.

Description of Work: Charlotte's Flooring installed three rooms of carpet.

Description of Work: We used Charlotte's Furniture to lay some tile in the living and dining rooms and the front hallway.
