They do a good job, and I would recommend them to anyone. We just started using them about 4 weeks ago and everything is going well. They skim the pool, bring their own chemicals and check the levels and filters.

I don't like the price. We are always the last ones to get service when they service us. We have to wait on them.

Overall a nice experience.

The person whom you speak to on the phone can speak English clearly. The workers we were in contact with could not speak English. They would come weekly to clean the pool, but it kept getting more and more green. We finally called and asked for them to clear up the pool. A guy came three mornings in a row for approximately 5 minutes he poored yellow alga product in pool. Cleared right up. First, we felt the guy who was cleaning the pool should have said something about the alga outbreak we had to call them to get any action. Then when they did come with minimal effort, not even 15 minutes total to poor stuff in the pool cost $216! That was on top of the $200 a month for weekly cleaning. They also did not come when they said they would, then person on the phone lied about it.

We bought an 8-yr old home with a pool and spa -- never had a pool before. Previous owners had "maintained" the pool themselves. Arneson cleaned the pool, serviced the heater and pump, showed me how to use it. They diagnosed a faulty heating coil and a gas leak and got it fixed right away. They tried to replace a part, but the whole heater failed. They refunded my money for the part and installed a new heater. Very fair. They are now doing ongoing weekly maintenance for us. Oscar is just great -- on time, professional, courteous. I know it costs a little more than some other options, but they've been very responsive and I know I can call them day or night.

The service was expensive and did not come when promised. they charges us over 100 to teach us pool basics and we didn't learn very much

The pool cleaning went well. The problem came when we asked them to service the pumps, filters and heater. We had moved out of the house and renters had recently moved in. The renters had gotten another pool service out to the house to give them an estimate on a cleaning service. The repair man "Rich" from Arneson saw the other service in front of our house and did not realize that Arneson's had been cleaning our pool for the last 3 years. He told me that our pool had been so poorly maintained that it needed $4,400 (thats right, four thousand four hundred) in repairs, and it might be more. However, when educated to the fact that Arneson's did indeed clean our pool for the last 3 years he completly back tracked and said first maybe the pool heater was old (nope only 3 years) and then that it did not need these repairs right away and they could be put off and were not that bad.
