Description of Work: Hallway light wasn't coming on. Several attempts to troubleshoot myself failed. Called Alpine, they came out, quickly determined what part was not connected properly and it was fixed.

Description of Work: Repair for 2 light switches done by 1 worker in bedroom & bathroom while other worker assess what is needed for installation of ceiling fan in another bedroom while they arrived @ around 2:30 p.m.& took around 5-10 minutes to get off the truck. Then they have to go to Home Depot to get materials they need like a 16 inch down rod & 10 inch Ceiling medallion which the rod was too long so they ended using the one that came with fan and madellion was too small where there was going to be a gap where they fit it with a smear of caulk. Then they assemble everything just so the electricity keeps tripping cause the wiring is being caught between frame and for all of this I was charge 3 hours @ 75.00 & $17.00 for materials total of 231.00. When I called them on this they said they were here for 3 hours. But if they arrived @ 2:30 p.m. & left @ 4:00 p.m. so that makes it 1 1/2 hrs. Cause I talked to a Jessie & he said if they had stayed until 5 that would put me at time & half Then I got a call back that they could come & check fan to see if it was screwed right but I had to balance it myself caused they would charge me a service charge to do it for me cause fan shakes/wobbles on high setting .Explanation: They come like that from factories. The workers were courteous & friendly. I have also issue with if they were on their time getting the materials I understand then workers shouldn't be answering their cells phones talking to their wives or girlfriends on customers time. Fair or Not fair? Not A Very Happy Customer But I Have Paid My Bill!!!!

Description of Work: ran dedicated power line for outdoor spa. The men that ran the line were superb however, the installers of the hot tub were not as cordial nor professional. I asked for the other men that did the set up to come and do the install but was told that I had to take whomever was in the area at that time.

Description of Work: In the last year and a half, I have had Alpine Electric come out to my house and perform miscellaneous repairs and installations. They installed an overhead fan on my patio, with a remote control. On a separate visit, they installed, and water-sealed, an outdoor, motion sensor floodlight for my backyard. Lastly, they went through my house, repairing and replacing electrical outlets. They are very good, very professional, quick, and reasonably priced.

Description of Work: I originally asked them to come and fix the light in my kitchen that ceased working when a handyman installed a light in my living room. They arrived on time and inspected the switch in the living room and the light in the kitchen. They fixed the circuit, and the light in my kitchen now works. Since they were here, I asked them to install a puck-light under my kitchen cabinets. They did this in about another 45 minutes. I am very pleased with the work, and I think the price was more than fair.

Description of Work: I called Alpine Friday morning to set up an appointment to fix the kitchen light & bathroom fan. I was surprised they could send someone out that morning. There were 2 men that showed up as promised. They came prepared at my door with the step ladder to reach the kitchen light & tools to complete the repairs. In otherwords...they did not come in and look around & then had to go back out to their truck to get their supplies which would have added time on their hourly rate. {It reminded me of the Christmas Story where Santa came down the chimney & set right to work. :) } I needed a part that had quit working in the kitchen light & they gave me the option of either I could go get it, or they would. I took the 2nd option. They returned within a reasonable mount of time with the new part & again completed the task. With the blower in the bathroom, someone had left a wire unhooked & they proceeded to connect it and the fan worked like it should. They were very knowledgeable and professional. I would strongly recommend them and I would definitely use Alpine Electric whenever I had an electrical problem.
