Terrible. I was told around noon that he would be here between 2 and 4. That didn't happen. I called to remind him attend apparently he forgot all about my appointment and lost my information. He then said he had someone who would come by in his place. His employee informed that he would be here around 5 pm. It is almost now 6 and he hasn't even called to tell me that he's running late. Thanks for nothing.

They fixed it is working good so far

My ice maker was repaired quickly because Billy had the parts on hand. He also fixed a leak. He also took the time to thoroughly clean the area. I was very pleased with the service, and I would definitely use this company again!

Excellent work! Our laundry machine is 100% functioning. We will hire Mr. & Mrs. Stady if we need their services again in the future.

Called Billy again came back to my house and looked at washer now it was a different part that needed to be replaced. Been waiting for 3 weeks now and washer has been fixed. I keep calling Billy at 915-219-3753 and at 915-443-0836 but never answers my call. I even send him text messages but doesn't reply. I do not recommend this company for appliance repairs. Billy is not professional and needs to work on his customer service skills. Needless to say my washer still doesn't work and he hasn't even returned to assemble it back together.

Excellent service and responsiveness. You can tell these guys are extremely busy, but Billy made room for us when our refrigerator stopped cooling. He quickly determined it was the compressor, actually had one in stock, and replaced it. We got lucky he had the part, LG is famous for delayed shipping. Our refrigerator was back in working order in no time, with minimal loss of produce. AAA and Abbott's are the same company, both highly rated and for good reason. Billy was cordial, honest, and even followed up with a text the same night to check on the repair.

After two visits, the dishwasher was fixed

Billy came out was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He had to get the part said would be back the next day between 5 and 7 to complete the repair. He was here on time, fixed my dryer quickly, super service !

Tim came out first thing Monday. Quickly diagnosed the problem. Had to order the fuse. And fixed it 2 days later. He was very professional, on time & knew what to fi.

Initial phone call; seemed distracted. But, agreed to come right away. Arrived 30 minutes later. Immediately knew what the problem was. Repair took about 15-20 minutes. Kitchen quickly restored and tidied up. Total cost; $81. Definitely worth the cost. Would definitely hire again.

Billy responded quickly and came out to the house the very next day. He assessed the problem with my dishwasher, purchased a new pump, and replaced it within the same day. After installation, it became evident that the spinner was also faulty. He immediately took care of that issue as well.

Awesome. Showed up the same day I called. Vacuumed and cleared out what was clogging the drain pump. Fast, efficient, and only $59 total. Dishwasher is working again.

Called this guy in the morning, he seemed distracted during the call. I asked him if he could work on my older oven and he stated, "The older The are the better, they were better built." Then he said he would be by between 2 & 4 pm. I thought to myself this was a pretty wide time frame, but he had an "A" on Angie's list so I'll give him a shot. I waited and waited. I called him at 4:45pm and his response was, "Who are you?" "Between 2 and 4?" "An oven?" I just told him to forget it. I wasted a whole Saturday afternoon waiting for this clown.

It couldn't have gone better. Tim was on time, very personable and worked quickly to diagnose the problem. The price was very fair to fix the washer and he left the laundry area as neat as he found it.

All went well. Part took about a week to arrive. Technician was professional and punctual. Please note that this business is now called Affordable Appliance Repair. Abbott's sold the business (and the phone number) to them.

The service went really well. The serviceman was very friendly and efficient.

My husband called about 8:30 to make an appointment; he was told the servicemen would be here between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. When making the appointment he told them what he thought the issue was. The servicemen called about 2:00 p.m. to say they were on their way and arrived around 2:15. They promptly inspected the oven and confirmed the problem was the ignitor. They had the part with them, replaced it, tested the oven, and departed within 45 minutes. They were courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. My husband was very pleased with the service. We would hire them again if necessary and recommend this company to anyone who needs oven repair.

Techs responded within two hours of being contacted. Quickly checked and diagnosed problems and checked availability of parts. Returned first thing the next morning with parts in hand. Quickly installed parts and both appliances work perfectly.

We called Tim on Sunday mid-day when our dryer stopped functioning. He was easy to get in contact with and offered us a time on Monday to come out, but since my wife and I both work, we opted to pay the extra for him to come out that Sunday. Tim arrived promptly and replaced the fuses and high-limit thermostat and the dryer started working. After Tim left, we noticed that the dryer was still running very hot, and even on air-dry, had the heating element running. I called Tim back and based on the phone conversation, he figured that the heating coil had likely shorted out. Tim ordered the part and came back the next day (no additional labor fee), showed me the failed heating coil and replaced it. Unfortunately, the fuse had already blown again; he didn't have the right one with him, so he put a temporary one in while he ordered the right part. The part arrived the next day and Tim came out again (no additional labor fee) to install it. Tim also didn't charge for the additional blown fuse. I'm very impressed with Tim's willingness to make sure he completes the job correctly, even if that means multiple trips with no additional trip fees. I appreciate his honesty and promptness. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any other appliance repair needs.

My rental home's washing machine failed last week when it stopped agitating during a wash load and started emitting an acrid smell. After a confirmed appointment with another provider fell through (a no show with no follow up), I called Tim. He was friendly and established the basics of my situation right away, including specifics of the model and the symptoms involved. He made an appointment to check out my machine the next day (Thursday). Tim showed up right within his promised window and very quickly diagnosed the issue. My washer is apparently pretty old and still going strong except for its broken belt and some minor oil leakage - normal issues in a long-running appliance like this. He explained the estimated costs, the likely required parts and what else could be wrong. There was no pressure, just a clear explanation of what the work would involve. Because a part wasn't immediately available for the unit, he explained it would take a few days to get one delivered. His estimate of Monday was correct: the part was ready that day, and he called to make an appointment at my convenience. Today he arrived right within the agreed two-hour time window again and fixed the machine in about thirty minutes. He identified an additional issue: the machine is pretty loud and unbalanced when running. But it has been for the five years I've used it, so he commented that it might simply be worn into that state and not getting worse. He explained that fixing the bearings, if I decided to, would likely be more expensive than replacing the unit altogether. So the repair was complete and the veteran machine is back to it's normal, hard-working self, ready to soldier on. I really appreciate working with a professional who gives complete information, is happy to answer questions and works quickly. Tim delivered on all counts: great communications, courtesy, on-time arrival, solid work and accurate estimates of cost and time. I'll definitely turn to him if I have more appliance issues in the future!

My husband received an appointment from Abbott for 9:00 a.m. -- 11:00 a.m. and took off work to meet the serviceman. At 11:05 no one from Abbott had shown up or called, so my husband called Abbot to find out what was going on. No one answered the phone. About 30 minutes later, someone from Abbott did call back, but they acted like they had no record of our appointment, name, or address. Serviceman finally showed up at 1:30 p.m. which made us late for an afternoon event.
