Description of Work: When a family member was beginning to take a bath in an upstairs bathtub, I spotted the ceiling getting wet in the room below where, luckily, I happened to be at the time. After the ceiling dried out, with some assistance from Angies list, I called AJ's Plumbing. Within a few hours, two plumbers showed up. They examined the situation, all the pipes are within the walls, but they did note one thing. The cover of the overflow opening of the tub was loose and the opening in the cover pointed up instead of down. When the faucet was turned on, water entered directly into the overflow. They replaced the cover and they suggested we test the tub for several days to see if that made a difference. If the leak continued, the wall would have to be opened to look for the cause. I am happy to report that after several weeks, no repeat of the leak. I don't understand what was happening but I think we got off easy not having to open walls.

Description of Work: We had a broken pipe in the wall. He fixed it and even helped my husband install a new toilet and didn't charge for that.
