Extremely professional, great clean-up. Worked a great deal with us in terms of customer care. We never felt like we were a small account even though we were.

I informed the sales rep. at the time of purchase the dimensions on the bathroom sink counter top. The size is a basic size that Home Depot and Lowe's carry of other sink counter tops. I also informed the individuals who measured the top I wanted the exact dimensions. 22" deep x 25" wide. They took the old counter top as a template. That counter top was the size mentioned. When they installed the quartz counter top and it was already adhered to the sink vanity, I noticed it seemed slightly off. I should have questioned in then, but I thought it didn't look bad so I let it go. It wasn't until I decided to measure it later I noticed that the back splash was 25" wide which is correct, but the counter top was 26". They did center the back splash, but it is off by 1/2" on each side. Since it was a remnant piece it would be hard to have enough to either cut a new counter top, or create the 26" length back splash. My disappointment is that they DID NOT listen to the information I gave them on the size, and they took the old sink as a template which also had the correct dimensions. I also asked if the gentlemen who installed the counter top if the faucet I had would fit. They said it would, but there is in reality less than a 1/2" behind the behind the base of the faucet. It is a little tight for comfortably turning the handles and for cleaning behind the faucet. I cannot rate the quality of work higher than a 'C' due to the fact they should have measured the back splash against the counter top length, and they should have remeasured the sink they took as the template, because it was 22" deep x 25" wide. I consider it carelessness by not checking the sink they had as a template, and not checking the back splash against the length of the vanity. Also, for not taking into consideration the depth of the quartz back splash in relation to where the faucet handles needed to be placed.

DO NOT use 77 Stone! There professional business conduct is terriable. This provider was recommended by our contractor and their estimate was a couple of hundred dollars less then our original choice for counter tops. We now wish we would of stayed with our first choice. Their representative (Chuck) told us he could do the counters for $5907 according to the plans that were submitted to him. We agreed and signed a contract and paid 1/3 the cost up front. After the stone was aquired by the company we approved it and paid an additional 1/3. After our cabinets were installed Chuck came out and measured all the surfaces we showed him we wanted counter top to go on. The following day his crew installed the counters and they were beautiful. They did an excellent job producing and installing the counters. Now here is the problem. Chuck knew from his measurements that the amount of counter top required needed to be increased by 20%from the original drawings, with a corresponding increase in price, but he never said anything about it. When he arrived two days later to collect the balance due I had already written him a check for the final 1/3 payment. He told me that due to the increase in the amount of counter top required the final payment was $900 more than the original estimate. When ask way he did not tell us this when he measured the cabinets? He apologized, agreed he should have told us the required amount of counter would cost more then the original estimate, but we should have know that due to a clause in the contract stating that and estimate might change we should have expected the amount owned would change. Technically he is correct. Customer relations and service wise it's the old bait and switch routine. Very un-professional, which left a sour taste tainting the entire transaction. I could see a couple of hundred dollars but almost a thousand dollars: without notifying the customer is unacceptable. I paid them the total amount billed but will never do business with them again. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH 77 STONE!!

I purchased my granite from another company but had questions about how to maintain it. They were friendly, gave me good advice, and did not try to sell me something. I followed their advice and my granite counters shine beautifully. I will use them in the future.

77 Stone helped me find the most perfect granite. It provides contrast and coordinates with the backsplash, cabinets, and flooring. They came back to ensure all the edges were smooth. The countertops are the frosting on my lovely cake of a kitchen.

The team at 77 Stone did the job they were contracted to do, but the work was sloppy and they struggled to be on-time. My wife and I both work and attend university which means we are very busy. Our first estimate appointment with 77 Stone they were a no-show, and there was no phone call to let us know they wouldn't be coming. When the day arrived for them to install the counter-top they arrived a half-hour late, not a huge deal, but certainly frustrating and un-professional. The counter-top and sinks are lovely, but when they mounted the sinks they left a bunch of extra adhesive on the visible portion of the sink. They also used two different colors of caulking around the edges so on some portions its blue, and others its tan. It isn't immediately obvious, but its sloppy work. They have a great selection of stone, but in our experience if you use 77 Stone you can expect some frustrations along the way to a somewhat sloppy end-product.

I went into this contract way too naive. The sales experience was great. The great experience ended there. Chuck is a very "good" talker. He provided the answers to my questions with what every homeowner would want to hear. They were to demo the old countertops as well as the backsplash. I was misled on the amount of destruction that would occur during demo (there's quite a difference between "SOME" damage and complete destruction of sheetrock during backsplash removal). They did not clean up any of the material that fell down into the cabinets. They started demo of the backsplash after they had removed the original countertop. Reverse order there, if you ask me (the novice homeowner). So more junk fell into the cabinets, which I wound up having to clean out. When I stopped them from continuing the demo of the backsplash, I called the owner/manager, Eddie. After some heated words (no cussing), Eddie told me "I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER". The demolition was stopped. I was given a perceived $500 credit to be applied to a stainless steel sink. It took two weeks before I could get someone I know and trust to demo/repair the sheetrock. Upon notifying 77Stone, it took another week to schedule an appointment to come out and make the template. Approximately onne month to cut the countertops (one for the kitchen cabinets and one for a kitchen island. Day of installation finally came. They installed the island top 6 inches off of true. It was sooooo obvious and they were going to leave without making it right. The undermount sink (supply your own sink - don't believe them about the quality of any sink they are to supply, only trust what you used before). The sink was mounted 1-1/2 inches off center. Also soooooo obbvious. They were also going to leave it as such. I had them realign it. Guess what they used to move it over? A 24 ounce carpenter's hammer. 6 obvious dings later on the stainless steel sink I called Eddie back after sending him a description and photo's of the damage. He would replace the damaged sink. Chuck came out 1-1/2 weeks later to inspect the damage and make the template for the pieces on either side of the stove. Another two weeks went by before the install of the these pieces by the stove and another failed attempt to install the sink (they brought the wrong sink). The install was poorly done as the epoxy was mixed improperly and ran downwards, leaving another sooooo obvious gap on top and gluing the stove in place. They came out again in about two weeks to repair the gap and replace the sink. Guess what - wrong sink again. They did "repair" the gap, sort of. Anyway - it was almost another week before they finally brought the correct sink for the template that was cut out. In the process of installing it the workers chipped the counter top. Front center. About the size of a dime. It was "repaired". No way I can prove it was done on purpose, but this couldn't have been orchestrated any better in order to aggravate my wife and me. As unprofessional as they come - from the top down and the bottom up. Save your self even a small amount of stress and go with someone else for your countertops. If you like a particular product at 77Stone just get the manufacturer and product name, and any other countertop installer can get it. I have saved text messages, photo's, video's, and witnesses who overheard conversations. Also have saved most dates/times. Some are very close approximations of dates/times. Well - to top it all off, the epoxy mixed for use on the main seam on the sink counter has begun separating. I will not allow these idiots back in my house. Do yourself a big favor and find someone else to install your countertops.

77 Stone saved our kitchen remodel. We were already down to wall studsin the kitchen whan Rodriguez Plastic took our down payment THEN told us it would be six weeks before they could get to us. Chuck at 77 Stone took us through the process, got the slabs in, cut on a Friday and installed on Monday. The whole process took about a week. He also revised a design flaw in the countertops that would have been pretty awful. 77 Stone also helped us out with choosed 'remaindered' pieces for the vanity tops, this saved us quite a bit. Their prices were only slightly higher than Rodriguez Plastic, but their promt customer service more than makes up the difference.

They did a good work, but they had to come back once to follow-up because they didn't do a couple of things right. They did correct it, but it took them a while to come back and they had to schedule it. Overall, I was satisfied and the price wasn't exactly that great, but it was competitive. They did come on time and they were professional. I would consider using them; but I would also look around, especially for the price range.

I went to 77 Stone to look at samples and found one I really liked. (had been looking for several weeks) I scheduled an appointment for them to come give an estimate. They were on time for the appointment and took the time to answer all my questions fully and I eventually chose them to do the work. After the work was completed, I had some follow up questions and they were just as helpful to me as before the work was completed. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with this company, my countertops are beautiful and I could not be happier with the way it looks. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends.

Pete needs to work on his "customer service skills" and have better communication regarding specifics of projects if he is going to be the one doing the install vs. the man (I forget his name) who did the initial estimate. Pete was a little rude regarding the specifics of the project but his co-worker was awesome who did the intial estimate. I would try to work with him. His desk is the one in front of the door. They do absolutely amazing work though and they undercut Lowes by $2200!

Based on the sample, the granite that was brought to my home was something completely different. I understand there are variences in natural stone and there is no way to guarantee that your stone will look exactly like the sample. However, the sample should, in my opinion, provide a basic color scheme and pattern. The sample we were given was beige with garnet flecks and an overall 'pebbly' design scheme. The granite delivered to my house was black and white with large 'swirly' designs throughout. Any good granite company should require you to sign off on the SLAB before any cutting takes place. Ultimately, I'm okay with how it turned out because it really is beautiful, higher-end granite; but it just wasn't what I chose. I understand that it is my responsibility to see the slab before it is cut, but they refused to acknowledge that their sample looked nothing like the slab that was used for my countertops and tried to pass the buck onto our contractor. Their attitude was pretty much "take it or leave it."
Description of Work: We purchased approx 66 square feet of granite for our kitchen through our contractor from 77 Stone. I requested "Kodiak" based on the sample they provided. They arrrived when they said they would and the granite was installed in a timely manner. Eddie was always available to answer questions and took a lot of time with me inside the showroom. They are willing to guantee their work and will come out to your home after it is installed if you have any questions or problems.
