One side of the house was starting to slope downwards due to soil movement, approximately 2 inches lower than the middle of the house. They were able to reinforce it to prevent further movement and raise it about 1 inch to remove at least some of the effects of the recent foundation movement. There is already an improvement in doors fitting correctly and drywall cracks that have gotten better. They installed 8 exterior piers, one of which was put underneath the brick patio. The tunneled underneath the patio in order to install it, about 6 feet into edge of the structure. Impressive work from a knowledgeable crew.

The actual service was excellent. They were prompt and cleaned up well, with minimal impact on our landscaping. The accomplished everything in just one day. The owner was a the salesman and was very nice, with just a little "salesmanship" in his discussions. Payment was done over the phone and we were promised a receipt but didn't get one. I even tried calling back without much luck for over a week. I finally got a call back and was told one would be mailed out but we never received. I also asked for a copy of the warranty. They told me it was in the binder, but all I've found in the binder was references and sales stuff. The actual service was good - follow up and making sure we were happy was not.

On 11/15/2014 I purchased a Deal from Angie's List that was for a foundation inspection by American Foundation Repair (coupon code 1638371-1). I would like to cancel this purchase. After buying something online I expected to be able to schedule my appointment online since part of the purchase included listing dates and times I was available. However today I received an email from the owner stating they won't schedule an appointment online. This is unacceptable to me. Every other company I have ever contacted through Angie's List I was able to deal with online for scheduling and all other contact purposes. While it is the companies prerogative to not deal with customers online, this is 2014 and I expect to be able to handle business by electronic online means. Thank you.

I have called several times and have not received a follow up call. Recently I just get a busy signal when trying to call back.

After purchasing the BIG DEAL, I received an email the next day to call the office. I called and the receptionist was very courteous, set up the appointment for David Hall, the owner, to look at my foundation. He and his son came out within 2 days, very knowledgable, showed me a video, and a notebook with lots of recommendations, took measurments, looked at doors, showed me with a level how my foundation was off. That was why my doors did not shut properly. He explained ALL my options. He explained what was going to happen, the dirt that would be pulled out from under the house would be used to fill the sides of the house. He said it could be done in one day with in the next 30 days. 2 1/2 weeks later he called and said, he could be out on Friday(2 days later). The job went great, not one piece of litter or dirt was left out of place. The flower beds were even cleaned out with the dead tree limbs. My porch was washed down from the dirt. My yard looks awesome. It is so nice to be able to shut the doors easily. I would MOST HIGHLY recommend All - American Foundation Repair.

The work was very good. I think you can get some companies to see if your foundation needs to be repaired without a fee.

After getting work and cost estimates from four companies for foundation work in my house, I elected to go with All American Foundation. Coordination with the company was a breeze, and the work crew showed up promptly each morning and put in long, hard hours. The crew leader, Frank, kept me in the loop on their progress, and the entire crew was thorough, professional, and friendly. Extra focus and effort were put in by them to assure that the work was done within the three days originally estimated, and they finished with a careful cleanup of the work areas in my house. A good price, good work, and a pleasant experience -- I can recommend All American Foundation without reservation.

We had some difficulties in scheduling. He did call back and was responsive. What we needed was certification of the condition of the foundation for a loan and he was not willing to do that for us.

Dave's a great guy; he told us straight up we had absolutely no foundation problems.

That was great. The owner of the company came out and basically went really well. I supposed that he could have told me that I needed something and charged me a bunch of money for it but he didn't. He seemed to know what he was doing. He was there on time.

We found All-American Foundation Repair on Angie's List and after reading the great reviews, we asked David to come out and do an inspection of our house. David was very prompt, friendly and did a thorough check of our foundation. He also inspected our outside drainage and made suggestions on how we might further improve what we've done. David was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions thoroughly. We were very excited that David told us our house was in great shape and there wasn't anything we needed to do at this time. He taught us how to properly use soaker hoses to maintain our foundation and hopefully eliminate any future problems. There was supposed to be a $55 inspection fee, however David waived this and did not charge us anything. We will definitely call him in the future if we have need of foundation or drainage issues and would highly recommend him to others.

I found much information on better business bureau that made me not want to use this firm. Also, I doubted their report would be independent. Decided I wanted to avoid them if possible.

They put in several beams. They were very professional and had an engineer conduct a follow-up visit, which showed everything a plus.

Doug came to my home and took measurements and told me that I have a drainage problem. He recommended a french drain in the back of my house and 8 piers on the opposite side of my house. He explained how and why this needed to be done . He was very polite and professional. No complaints here, but I have chosen to go with a different company for the repairs needed.

Mr. Hall came out and did a thorough inspection, checked out my watering plan, and found that my house was OK. He cleared up a number of questions I had about how to keep the foundation from shifting. A big relief for me, and hopefully with his advice we can keep the house in good condition. Definitely worth the money.

It went great. He gave us better news than we originally thought we would get. We did have some things to do but he did not recommend any major work for us. Fantastic news!

Performed a thoruogh inspection. No repair needed. Gave me a plan for watering to prevent damage.

He pierced a sewer main line while doing the work. Once the city of Arlington called it to his attention he just covered the hole and left, and never corrected it. I called him for a week and he never responded. He never got a permit to do this work. I told him he had to get one and he said, " I never get a permit in Arlington."

I called on July 1st to schedule an inspection. We were taking several bids to have our foundation repaired (single-family home). The got us an appointment for July 8th in the morning. I had a conflict arise and wanted to reschedule the appointment on Friday July 5th. They told me they would call me back to reschedule. I called again that afternoon (Fri. 5th) and told them to cancel it and call me back if they wanted to reschedule. They have not called, guess the $3,000 or so will go to another more attentive contractor.......... If you are in a hurry like most of us and want to try to receive some bids for comparison and get everything scheduled in a timely manner they may not be worth your time.

The provider seemed to be technically sound and knowledgeable about his trade. This was just a preliminary estimate for me to start getting assessments of the work that may need to be done. He followed up with a phone call about a month later.

The guys from All American Foundation Repair did what they said they were going to do. They were on time and fixed the house.

A neighbor used All American for their foundation repair and were very pleased with the company and service. I submitted an online request to All American for a foundation repair estimate. The request asked for the best time for the company to contact me. I put between 10am and 3pm. A lady called one afternoon about 4pm--I wasn't home. She told the person who answered the phone that she would call back the next day. She never called. A week later I submitted a second online request for a foundation estimate from All American. Again, I put the hours between 10am and 3pm as the contact time for me. No response. Two months later I still haven't heard from All American.

They did a very good job. I had 3 different estimates. I felt like they were going to do a little bit more work for a better price.

It was fine. He was punctual and courteous. He didn't get the bid because of the price and he didn't give me the watering plan that was included in the bid.
