Description of Work: Sansom came to my residence in response to my request for a bid on the remodel of two small bathrooms. He took a few measurements and gave me an estimated cost of $18,000 for the work. He did not show me samples of materials nor did he give details of what the remodel would entail. He said he could begin the work in February 2014. I have not heard from him since. I have contracted with another builder.

Description of Work: Contractor that managed removal of wainscoting, texturing and painting dry wall, installing, new updated closet doors one of which required a reframe; installing bird block and gable trim on detached garage

Description of Work: We had Randy come in and remodel our kitchen. He removed an old built in pantry, these hideous furdowns that really took away from the ceiling height and thus also took away from cabinet storage. He removed a refridgerator framing wall and installed recessed lighting. We also had Randy move a light switch, install an under the sink outlet for the garbage disposal, and install our cabinets which were a pain because he had to modify the sink base cabinet to accommodate a farm house sink we bought. Randy was awesome. He griped a few times and expressed how much he hated our cabinets because of how difficult it was for him to put them up. We had to wait on the cabinet above the stove which we had ordered but was taking a long time to ship. Anyway, this slowed down things. This was no fault of his but like I said, it did slow his job down. I'm sure this was another reason why he hated our cabinets...can't say I blame him. As he was finishing up our cabinets, he noticed that our front door would scrape on our floor. We've been meaning to have it fixed but were focused on getting the kitchen done. Anyway, on one of Randy's trips outside to make a cut on a piece of wood that he was using to frame the sink, he stopped, whipped out his drill and did his magic. Door is fixed and we didn't even ask him to look at it! Randy is very quick to respond and very professional. He knew we were working with a very tight budget and I think he gave a lot of bang for our buck. I've already recommended Randy to several people I work with. Oh, and because he doesn't do plumbing, he did recommend a great plumber who was fast and willing to work with our schedule. If you are looking for help with remodeling, I can't recommend Randy enough. He knows people whether it be in tiling, counter tops, or plumbing. He's literally your one stop shop. We are looking at having our deck redone and he'll be the first one we call when the time comes.

Description of Work: We found Randy is 2003, I believe. First job was a complete kitchen remodel with everything from transforming a covered porch into a large pantry to moving the cooktop, tile, paint, lighting, countertops. Since then he has bult a 1,000 sq. foot addition of a downstairs master with bath and family room. He has redone an additional two bathrooms. He knows everything but does woodworking himself. He did a wooden garage door for us that turned our beautifully. He redid the design on our iron railing and banister; he built a wonderful new railing on our upstairs deck. He has taken on projects that dealt with a variety of unrelated things, for example, managed roof repairs and chimney repairs as while doing a bathroom update while he himself redid our upstairs deck with new railing. When Randy says, "Are you sure you want that...?", listen, because he has the experience to know how something will work, especially in the long term, and gives options.
