Description of Work: They tested our old water softener and we determined it was more cost effective to get a new unit rather than spend hundreds on fixing the old one. Also, the fact that a whole house water filter would be a key feature of the new one (negating our need for bottled water) was very enticing. So we financed it (which we will be paying off much sooner since the interest rate is way too high - roughly 14%). The installation went very well and the unit has been working great in the last 6 months. It stopped working and we had to "restart it" following a huge amount of work the city was doing to our neighborhood pipes, but once we did that it worked great again. And the whole house water filter has been amazing! No more spots on dishes after using the dishwasher and we can drink great tasting water from the tap! We purchased the "middle of the road" model (Puronics Water Conditioner Model Defender MV30-B with SilverShield Protection) and are very happy with it and the company that installed it.

Robert was very professional and knowledgable about his products and the water problems in our area. He explained in detail what we needed and why. The installation crew did a phenomenal job and went beyond what was promised and repaired some unrelated problems for us. They came back a few weeks later to be sure everything was working and make some final adjustments. Our water is the best it's been in twenty years. Thanks to Robert and his crew.

This system is one of the best investments you will make for you and your family. Since having this “Whole” house water treatment system, I’ve noticed a difference in my skin and hair. Installation was scheduled within 72 hours of our agreeing to purchase the system. The 3 person installation team were excellent, the supervisor had 4,000 installations under his belt. In addition to installing equipment provided the team flushed our water heater, hooked up the reverse osmosis water purifier to our refrigerator and installed a faucet in the kitchen sink which we had purchased separately to replace an older one damaged by scale. They also checked and increased the pressure from our external well-fed water tank and replaced a failing pump switch. They provided a complete solution and exceeded our expectations. First class.
Description of Work: Texas Water Solutions supplied and installed Puronics brand water softening and water purification systems. We had an initial visit from the proprietor who gave us a thorough overview of the whole process, from our well through to the faucet and the hookup to the refrigerator chilled water spigot and ice machine. He went into salient details not touched on by the other companies with whom we met such as UV treatment, throughput, the importance of external water pressure.

All appointments were met on time. Company was flexible about meeting my work schedule. Workers installed water lines from meter to outside shed, 3 external faucets, interior plumbing and even replaced old kitchen faucet while they were there. I used to wash dishes with a bottle of lime- away in hand. That is no longer the case. Well worth the investment.
