I'm not sure what happened w/ this guy. I sent him business for about a year (I remodel houses & am a RE broker) and things were going good. Then, he just decided he didn't want to finish a simple job. I paid him ~$700 to get started on a ~$1200 electrical panel. He tells me there are problems with the city permit. Okay, that's fine, I'll be patient. 2 months go by and there are still "problems with the permit." I didn't have a sense of urgency, so was patient. At the end of 2 months, he tells me the permitting problems are cleared up. Great! Let's get the job finished. He says he'll be out that week to finish...and, nothing. After 2 weeks of not returning calls, I text him and tell him I need a refund and will have someone else finish it. He sends me super aggressive texts saying that he's already performed the $700 worth of service, which is patently untrue, as the half finished job is worth exactly $0. After hounding him for 2 more weeks (and threatening lawsuit,) he finally finishes it. At this point, I suspect the "problems with the city" were BS. The end result was 3 months and LOTS of headache for a job that should take 1 day to perform, and 1 week from start to finish w/ permitting involved. Since that time, I've remodeled more houses and found a couple of electricians who show up on time and finish on time. I'll never hire David or recommend him for anything. Buyer beware.

They did a very good job. They were thorough and they were priced fairly and they cleaned up after themselves very well.

They were prompt, performed the job quickly and as estimated. A new panel was installed and despite having to rely on City of Austin power, the resulting down-time was kept to a minimum. Moreover, the estimate was spot on.
