The owner showed up promptly and estimated the cost for a transfer switch to be put on the side of our house in order to plug our generator into. The workers showed up on time and did the job within a 4-hour period. Very professional crew. Would use them again.

I recently called ProLectric to install a ceiling fan for me after another company failed to show for an appointment. Jimmy was able to have an electrician out the next day for me, and at a much better cost than the previous company. ProLectric had performed some work at a neighbors house and I had received their information in the mail. I received a courtesy call from Josh about 20 minutes prior to him showing up at my home. When he arrived, he was extremely friendly and inviting to my two very large German Shepherds, he absolutely adored them. He explained the work that he was going to perform in detail and quickly went to work. Josh was extremely personable and did not mind the one or two questions that I asked him during the install process. When the install was done, Josh asked me where my vacuum was. This caught me a little off guard and I was pleasantly surprised when he had carefully placed a few of my belongings carefully under my bed and then vacuumed the work area. I can wholeheartedly recommend this company to my friends and family. The way Josh treated myself and my four legged family with such care and warmth was very welcoming. Not many companies make it to my phone's contact list, but I assure you that this one will should I ever need any other services performed.

Josh and Jimmy checked the breaker box first to make sure the problem wasn't there and then changed the ballast in both lights and replaced the older tubes (they didn't have enough tubes in the truck so Jimmy left to get additional tubes while Josh changed the ballast). Both electricians were prompt, courteous, personable all the while being very professional. Great service from Prolectric.

Had a kitchen GFCI outlet that has always tripped whenever anything was plugged into it, and another GFCI outlet in an upstairs bathroom that would trip after a rainstorm. Also had some conduit connections to 3 outside boxes that had pulled out over time due to erosion and subsidence behind the house. Called Monday and spoke with Kathy; we set an appointment for between noon and 3pm Wednesday. .Jimmy called at 1:40pm, and he and Josh arrived about 2pm. After walking through the issues with them, they immediately found an outside box that had evidence of water intrusion. Jimmy said I just need to caulk it, which I took care of myself. That circuit is for the outside outlets and also the upstairs bathrooms, so that explained one of the trippy GFCIs. The kitchen GFCI turned out to be incorrectly wired. That unit had been required to be installed by the inspector when I purchased the property, and apparently the electrician hired by the previous owner had put it in wrong. They got it wired properly, and no more trips. Then they set to work on the outdoor conduit, getting all three reattached and also re-securing the main home ground wire. In summary, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Kathy was great to speak with on the phone, Jimmy and Josh were exceptionally professional, friendly, and courteous, and the price was right on. At no time did I ever feel rushed or like I was getting an upsell. I couldn't recommend Pro-Lectric more highly.

I have a two story home with bedrooms over the kitchen. I did a major remodel years ago with another contractor but chose a double convection oven late in the process, after the interior was completed, without considering the wiring needed; it was one gauge too small. I finally decided to fix the problem and received several bids. ProLectric, with it's Angie's list discount was the least expensive and they figured out a way to rewire with a need for only $150 worth of interior carpentry repair, as opposed to the $$$$ projected by other contractors. They were on-time, courteous, knowledgable, professional and completed the job in one day, despite the difficulty of doing the work without cutting holes in the ceiling. They even provided a deep discount on rewiring the GFCI outlets I mentioned on the day of the job. Use these guys!

Very professional crew: polite and got right to work. Called when on their way, on time, and worked until job complete. It took longer than expected to get one of the ceiling fans connected, as it was one that hugs the ceiling, but both men worked on it to get it done.

THey were very professional. When they came out to give me an estimate they explained what I needed and why I needed it. My entire breaker box was rusted out and the switches were not all operable. They scheduled the job at my convienience. They arrived on time, worked quickly, did a good job and cleaned up the mess.

Great overall experience. This was the first electrician to quote us for going up to the attic space from the outside fuse box, across inside to the other side of the house and then out the wall to the new water heater unit. Prolectric was scheduled to arrive between 10-12 and arrived about an hour early. They were very professional and respectful of me and my home. They worked very well with the plumber who was installing the unit. They also made sure to show me how to use the emergency shut off in case I need to use it. I highly recommend them.

Phone answerer was very familiar with electrical issues and knew what I was talking about. He was very knowledgeable and polite. The technicians who arrived were also knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Corrected my problem quickly.

Pump was replaced by a landscaping company. Lsndscaping workers put fountain back together and the pump worked. I came home about 30 minutes later and pump was not working. Fountain statue was too heavy to lift off to check pump out. Called Prolectric as I determined I had a electrical problem. Two young fellows came; one an electrician and one helper. They were both diligent workers. They discovered the plug needed to be changed. They made another scheduled stop, picked up the part they needed, and returned to fix the problem. I was well satisfied. Have never used an electrician before and would use them again in the future. I thought the price was reasonable.

They called and said they can come earlier than the appointed time. Very pleasant and professional. They were very careful setting up and putting away their ladder after they changed the light fixtures. ProElectric price is very reasonable compare to the other quote that I had from a different company.

My water heater finally died and I had to have it replaced. While talking with a plumber I was surprised to learn that I would also need to have a "disconnect box" installed for the water heater installation to be up to code. In Houston, you are no longer allowed to hard-wire a new water heater. So, I checked Angie's List for a good electrician. I contacted ProLectric. We scheduled the installation, but then I had to cancel and told them I would call back when I could reschedule. I called the next morning and the lady I talked with (she was very nice) said they could send an electrician that day some time after 2:00, but she couldn't give me an exact time. Some time after 2:00 Jacob called to let me know he was in route and the approximate time he would be there. Jacob arrived when he said he would. The work went fine. Jacob was polite and professional. He worked quickly and efficiently. I think it took him less than 20 minutes to complete the installation. I would use ProLectric again, and I would recommend them to a friend.

I was't there because I live in Waco, so my neighbor in Galvedton met the a my house. He said they were right on time. They looked at the job I needed done and called me right away. The gentlemen quoted me a price and he asked if I wanted it done. I told him yes and they got started and finished the job the same day. My neighbor said they were very friendly and they were very good about cleaning up after the work was done. I have not seen the job yet, but I was told it was done right.

Mr. Bankston showed up on a Saturday morning, on time and provided me with a very detailed proposal for multiple work items. His crew arrived when scheduled and performed all the work list items within the time estimated. One item was overlooked and when notified, he sent a crew back right away and took care of it. They send emails notifying you that a person, by name, is on their way to your house. They have a very professional web page, they answer their emails, and they are bonded and insured. I had no worries that they would not honor their committment. Unfortunately I could not be there the entire time that the work was being done, so I was able to ask all the questions I had about the details, but I trust that if there are concerns in the future, Mr. Banston will be available to provide answers.
