I have used this company in the past. This time the work was done in 45 mins but we were charged an additional 30 mins (a total of 1.25 hours) and told it was travel time. When we called the office later they said they don't charge travel time unless in unusual situations. Of course they never offered to refund the extra time.

Great! John fixed both of the issues quickly. He replaced the pipe in the attic and cleared out the other. He was very honest, which I truly appreciated, and was very knowledgeable. The price was fair and I would recommend Lanco Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing services. I have used them over the years and am always pleased with their work.

I was pleased with the overall experience. I asked a lot of questions about the toilets they were going to install because we needed toilets to be tall enough for ADA requirements. They were patient in answering all questions. The install went well also. No surprises. I would likely hire them again.

We have always been very satisfied with Lanco. We were not disappointed. They showed up on time, replaced the old hot water heater and brought the installation up to League City code and did it all quickly. We highly recommend Lanco. A few years ago we had them re-plumb our entire house. They did such a good job at a reasonable price that we decided to always use Lanco.

I had an appointment setup but they were able to come a few days earlier since they finished a job in my area quicker than expected. They called to make sure this was OK with me. The job was done quickly and professionally. Wes explained what they had to do and why. After the job was done, he gave me some additional useful information. They emailed me my receipt. I'd hire them again.

I called first thing in the morning and spoke with Irene who scheduled me for an afternoon appointment. She called me within the time frame she had given me-actually on the early side of the frame- to let me know there was a plumber on his way. A young man named John came to the house and fixed the leaking shower head efficiently, explaining to me why it happened and what he was going to do. After the work was done, he went over with me what I could do to try to avoid the problem recurring. Both he and Irene were pleasant and professional. Although we have had Lanco as 'our' family plumber, I have not had to call them in over two years but they still provide the same personal services they always have.

was Called Lanco plumbing and Max came out the same day for an estimate. I thought the bid was high, but really wanted to take a hot shower in the near future so to my detriment, I didn't compare and I went ahead and scheduled the same day. The work was completed in a timely fashion over the next two days. Fast forward three weeks and I notice that there is a washout spot where the line was supposedly buried. After further inspection I see where my 4 inch drainage system has been crushed underneath the brand new yellow gas line. The first call, I was told to send some picures I had and that they would pass it along and get back to me. Below is my correspondence. Initial email: As per my earlier call, attached are a couple of pictures of the drainage line that was crushed during your installation of a gas line last month. Please call me back so we can schedule a time for the repair. Thanks, Response: Mr. Jackson, I reviewed the pictures, pulled your job info and discussed with Max. Max said that when he came to give the estimate, he has asked if there would be anything in the yard in that area to determine whether he could trench it or if they would have to charge you more to dig it by hand to avoid hitting anything. He said you told him there wasn't anything there and he gave you the lower price to trench the line and get it done. Max said it probably would have been closer to twice as much if they had to hand dig originally. In cases like this, we will make the repair, but we do charge for it. Otherwise we would have charged the higher price from the onset if the customer was concerned that there is anything in yard. There is no way for us to know where all the piping is. I can set you up an appointment for this week, would be an hourly rate of $130 (minimum 1 hour) + material to make the repair, just let me know. Thanks, Response: First and foremost, I never have a conversation about digging by hand or using a machine. That is a fictitious account. I assumed you would be using a machine, but I also assumed you knew "where the pipes were" since you are a plumbing company. Second, when removing the old line I am pretty sure that you would have seen the irrigation line. The irrigation company somehow managed to miss the gas line when digging their trench. My question is how did this occur? Third and most important, whomever installed the line obviously chose not to notify interested parties that they damaged something. Despite all these shortcomings I just ask that you rectify the situation by fixing what you have broken. That should have been brought to my attention immediately. Please let know what you intentions are. Respectfully, After this email, I was called by Max who was the person who gave me the estimate. During this conversation, I was told that the person who wrote the email misunderstood, and that in fact we did NOT discuss digging by hand or machine or alternative pricing, but that they were not liable since I did not inform them of the existence of a drainage system. I then inquired as to why I was not notified during the installation about the line being cut. His reply was that lines are cut all of the time and that unless water is coming out immediately they are just disregarded. After speaking to the Max I am confident that I will be the one fixing the broken line. It would have been understandable if I was notified of the line being cut during installation, but the workers covered the hole with dirt instead of notifying someone. I also find it had to believe that a plumber would completely disregard cutting a brand new (3 months) drainage line without notifying someone. Do not let these people on your property.

They are very timely, efficient, and professional.

They came in, checked in hard to get attics to explore possibilities, replace horizontal pipes and when taking old pipe out, made sure rugs didn't get dirty. Replaced more pipe than had originally planed but discussed and explained process as they went. Was very satisfied with job and price. Actually price was lower than first estimated.

I called first thing on Monday morning because our drains were backing up into the house. They scheduled a visit that same afternoon. Since I had to leave work, I asked them to call me when they were on their way and it made it easy to fit into my day. They were very knowledgeable and had the equipment necessary on hand. They didn't charge for cleaning out the drain, just the labor. They made sure all of our drains were working properly.

Requested an elongated bowl toilet be installed. They instead installed a round bowl toilet then refused to swap it out for the correct shape. I had already paid and did not have a contract so I was stuck. To bad because the install was perfect just the wrong equipment. The exact date is from recall but I have a canceled check image in my bank account.

Our realtor referred us to Lanco when we moved in because we knew there was some work to be done. We called Lanco shortly after 1 P.M. and they had a service plumber here in less than 3 hours. He came in, knew exactly what to do and within an hour and a half was completed and on his way. Will be using and referring Lanco again.

They are reasonable, they charge like $80 to come out and that includes an ours worth of work. He came out for free and talked to us about our water heater. He suggested that we just keep using it until it broke and then he came out and installed a different one. He told us our options and we picked one. He did a really good job and his price was excellent.

Scheduled to Friday but they didn't make it out till Saturday. I had told them that there was no great rush as the house was vacant. Originally charged me for Saturday service but cheerfully changed it once I brought it to their attention that it was their choice to do it on Saturday. I have used them before and they always do a good job for a reasonable price

They are excellent and their prices are excellent. They are very reliable. It is a small company, family owned and they are very reasonable. They will take check or credit card. They have resealed a toilet for me. The first thing that they did for me was to replace a PVC elbow on my water meter that was cracked. Another company told me that it would be over $3000.00 and Lanco did it for $120.00.

They do good work, and never have to come back out. Do the job right the first time. They are courteous and punctual.
