Description of Work: I was having problems with the pressures with my pool. Called on Monday and set up an appointment for 1:30 on Wednesday. I received a call from him Tuesday evening making sure we were still on for Wednesday, and I told him yes. When he didn't show up by 2:30 Wed. I called him to see if he was having problems finding my house. He said no that they were so back up. I told him it would have been nice and good business to have called me to let me know they were going to be a few hours late. He said,"oh I can't come today." No sorry about not calling or anything. No I won't be calling them again.

+ -1 moreHe was on time and helpful We have use him subsequently and are very pleased. Prices are a little lower than others and he only repairs what is needed.
Description of Work: We had a pump failure and salt water pool turned green. Mike immediately identified the problem, corrected it, and made recommendations for the future.

Description of Work: I used the services of The Pool Man LLC about a month ago. He generally does routine maintenance on the filters and pool equipment.

+ -1 moreI was satisfied with the work and the heater is working. As I mentioned the estimate did not match the final bill and I would not have had the repair done at that high of a price. I would have opted to by a new heater.
Description of Work: I needed my pool and spa heater repaired. The pilot light would not stay on. The option was to buy a new heater or repair the existing unit. The service call was $85 for him to come out and the estmate was $325. He mentioned he needed to order a part and would come back after the part was recieved. Then I recieved the bill and to my surprise it was way higher than what I was quoted. The work was good and the heater is working. If I would have known is was going to be as much to repair the unit I would have considered a new heater and used that money as a down payment.

+ -1 moreI have them come out on the first Monday of every month, for my pool maintenance. They do an amazing job and ensure once the job is done, it need not be touched again for any maintenance. They are thorough professionals and very knowledgeable about the job they do. They are responsive and if any problem arises, they come out immediately. My pool is an old one and they know very well what systems need to be installed and what kind of maintenance the pool requires. I like their services and will continue to use the same in future.

+ -1 moreIt's turn key. He comes in does the work and then leaves, sometimes we see him and sometimes we don't. He also comes and helps with any problems that we may be having with the pool. He is very prompt when it comes with helping us. It is good to have someone who know all about the pool.

+ -1 moreThe job was completed satisfactorily, but took two and a half weeks. Work was delayed at a critical time because the pool had already been filled. The contractor was always in a hurry and had to be pressed to answer maintenance questions. I was responsible for pool maintenance for the first time and didn't get the guidance I needed.
Description of Work: Replaced pump and other parts.
