Finally I called them today and was told to call back in 15 minutes as their computers were having problems. When I called back I just got stuck in an endless voicemail loop. + -1 moreThe service crew came in a few minutes later than they had said, but the hinge causing the problem was fixed in less than 10 minutes. Can't beat that.
Description of Work: The frameless shower door had shifted so that it wouldn't swing 180 degrees. We tried a couple of glass places to service it but everyone (except Fashion Glass) refused to repair it because they hadn't installed the shower. When you've just bought your house and you have no idea who installed the shower - that makes it hard to get it fixed. Fashion Glass came in, diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

+ -1 moreTheir professionalism is the worst I have ever dealt with. I had my whole house gutted and remodeled quicker than I've had a 36X65 framed mirror installed.
Description of Work: I found Fashion Mirror and Glass on Angies list and visited their website. I did an online request for a framed mirror on April 2 and received an email from Mildred on April 3rd. We emailed back and forth several times throughout the day. On April 4th I called her to get a full understanding of how they would ship my mirror, I left her a voice mail and she called me back. (Also note that I put my phone number on the online request form to be contacted). At that time she suggested they have someone come to my home and measure and then return to install it. I agreed that was the way to go. She said someone would call me to schedule a time to measure. April 12th I called back to see when they were going to call. I was told they would have Joey call me...I called Joey the following week and finally got him to the house to measure. He asked my husband to have me text the frame I wanted. I texted him back that night and asked him for an approximate cost. 4 days later he called and said he didn't get my text. I gave him the info and asked for a cost. He said Tiffany would call me and it would be 7 days on the mirror. 8 days passed and I called him..He acted like he didn't know who I was and fumbled around a bit and then decided to have Tiffany email me..long story short Tiffany said my mirror would be delivered May 17. I called Joey to verify that they would call me before coming so I could meet them. He CALLED me back and said sorry, it's going to be May 18th BUT they will call you and give you time to get home. Today is May 18th and I called them again to see when they were coming and Amy told me they have already been to my house and I was not home..we didn't have a good number for you? WHAT?? I have spoke to several people there and they have ALL called me back. Furthermore, I was promised the prior day when they CALLED me back to postpone my mirror yet another day that they would call first, no need to be home! My mirror did arrive on Monday as promised, of course as expected they did not arrive on time. They called at 7:45am said we will be there BEFORE 9:30. At 10:00 I left for work and got a call they would be there in 45 MINUTES. They did finally show up at 10:45. The mirror is beautiful, but not worth the hassle or trouble I went through to get it. P SHAME ON ME for allowing this to go as long as I did! Lesson learned, I will find another company to work with in the future!

+ 0 moreThey were brought in by the sub-contractor, who broke our window. They were supposed to show up; 4 days after the sub-contractors broke to window, to fix it. They never called nor showed up for the same. Then the next day a guy shows up, without a notice or a call, to measure the same. When we tried to get a time frame 4m them to get the window, he just wouldn't commit anything. It was an impossible task to deal with them and I will never use their services in future.
Description of Work: I used the services of Fashion Glass & Mirror, sometime in November, 2010.

+ -1 moreOutstanding! I called a week before Thanksgiving and didn't think much would be done between the holidays. I knew they would have to measure and order the glass for the window. Much to my surprise, The window was in place the week after Thanksgiving.
Description of Work: One of our large living room windows needed to be replaced.

+ -1 moreThe sales consultant, Jaime Juarez, was prompt and professional. He had a 'can do' attitude that I really appreciated, particularly since I was not purchasing the glass from this company. His price was reasonable, compared to Binswanger, the only other glass installation company in my area. When he arrived to install the glass, he was fast and efficient. He has excellent communication skills and I understood fully all he had to tell me about the job and he answered all my questions fully.

+ 0 moreJoey from the Saginaw office (a branch of the DeSoto office), came quickly to give an estimate and gave us a great deal. The first shower door was installed just when they promised. They had some problems with the second door and never called me to let me know they wouldn't be coming that day. For the next two weeks, they did not keep me abreast of the delays in coming to install the shower door. Joey was out on vacation, and I think if he'd been in town it would have been taken care of more quickly. However, when I called to complain, a manager called me back and apologized and said they'd get everything taken care of quickly and that I'd be better informed, which I was. So once I complained, they did take steps to improve the service.
Description of Work: They installed glass shower doors and side glass for two showers.

+ -1 moreThese contractors are fantastic. The gentleman we dealt with was Chris Galbraith. We checked around before hiring them and not only were their prices good, but the quality of the 3/4 inch glass used was exceptional. They were pleasant and easy to work with. They also did a great job of cleaning up the area when they were finished. I plan on using them again for having some mirrors beveled and would recommend them.
Description of Work: They built a custom seamless glass shower enclosure, which is also frame-less, and installed it for our over-sized shower.

+ -1 moreGeorge, who came out to do the estimate, was very professional and polite. He took his time to do careful measurements and gave me a price that was considerably lower than others that I received. The existing enclosure is structurally uneven, but they worked hard to ensure that that the enclosure fit as perfectly as possible even though it involved 2 reworks of the individual glass parts. My only complaint is that the work crew appeared at my house twice without setting up an appointment.
