He installed all the equipment is fine order, was VERY cautious with our belongings, cleaned THOROUGHLY after he was done. Just a wonderful experience. Never made me feel like a twerp because I know very little about audio equipment and sound quality. The wife came home to some lovely music playing on the system and was yea verily thrilled and happy. Thank you Kevin!

As he worked through the install he made recommendations as how to better connect our existing equipment and recommendations for future upgrades. I learned a great deal from Kevin and we now have a path forward as to equipment updates and future compatibility with the rapid changes in the technology. Kevin will be back.

+ -1 moreEnd result: Amazing sound. Big base with crisp highs and airy mid-range presence for the home theater and for music. Great whole house sound. All functions on one remote which he programmed. Easy to use with more listening options than before. Kevin knows his stuff, shows up on time, works fast and uses high quality reasonably priced gear.
Description of Work: Kevin updated, simplified and improved our vintage home theater system and whole house sound system. Removed 8 pieces of old analog gear, hundreds of feet of cable (coax, hdmi and component) and added a beautiful 10” wireless sub woofer. One Pioneer Elite receiver replaced everything. He put in a Blu-Ray player. He also added a new speaker selection box. He kept my existing speakers: 23 in all including two big towers.

Description of Work: We bought a new home with a media room. Based upon glowing recommendations from our daughter and son-in-law who had hired Wired 4 Sound & Video, LLC to install audio/video equipment not only in our media room but throughout the home and covered patio. Kevin Smith is the owner of Wired 4 Sound and the only party with whom we dealt with throughout the planning and installation of the equipment. Mr. Smith’s knowledge and experience were valuable during the planning stages as he recommended equipment suitable for the project, with an eye toward minimizing costs, without minimizing quality. The installation included a 110 inch bordered screen, a projector, Sonos-Connect AMP, mounts for large screen television in another room, gigabit switches, wireless access points, universal programmable remotes, several a/v receivers, and numerous in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. Wired 4 Sound’s expertise furnished us with the latest in state-of-the-art technology, at a price point which we considered quite reasonable. The installation was very professional and took most of four days time. What we were most pleased about was the fact that the speakers were fairly invisible and blended into the ceilings and walls, rather than speaker mounts on walls and ceilings that while effective are not especially appealing to the eye. We cannot recommend Wired 4 Sound highly enough, not only for their planning and installation but for their post-installation service. On two different occasions, we have trouble with our video and Mr. Smith immediately addressed the situations without charge, even though the problems were solely attributable to DirecTV. On yet two other occasions, we installed additional devices and Mr. Smith came by, again with no charge, and programmed the new devices into the universal remotes. We have no connection, family or otherwise to Kevin Smith/Wired 4 Sound other than as extremely pleased customers. In our opinion, you can not go wrong hiring Wired 4 Sound, LLC.

He completely rewired our internet for me to have the right service to work from home. He set us up on all new media room equipment and got all of our other TVs and sound systems throughout the house set up at a reasonable rate. He is also very responsive and whenever we need something or have questions he is always helpful and calls right back. I have used other media companies before but never one as good as what Kevin provides.
Description of Work: totally redid all internet wiring and media room. Also hung tvs and set up for new house we moved into.

I've used him before, in the past with something with my media room - we had lost power to the projector. He is very thorough and very knowledgeable.
