The installers showed up each and every day on time and finished on schedule and on budget. They were very honest about efforts to work around some of the anomalies in the structure of my rooms. I might not have noticed and was impressed with their honesty. The final work product is simply stunning. We are 100% satisfied and plan on having them bid other projects in the near future.

Joe had some good suggestions which we followed. The finished product is great to use and very attractive.

Three contractors said there was a leak in the master shower, but a plumber suggested I have the grout checked out. After searching Angie's List, I selected The Tile Doctor based on reviews I read. Joe Wilson inspected the shower and gave me a price for grouting and caulking, indicating there might be extra cost involved if a leak was found. He provided a bid within 24 hours, making a point of finding ways to save me money. I found the price to be extremely reasonable, and we scheduled the job within the next 10 days. Daniel actually did the work, and we were both surprised to find no leak at all! Daniel worked straight thru all three days he was here and gave his full attention to the job! Joe came back a week later to seak the tile and make sure I was happy. Both men were punctual, cheerful and cleaned up after themselves. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of their work, with their professionalism and their honesty - the 3 qualities I look for when I do business with anyone. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Tile Doctor to anyone who needs tile work of any kind.

Had a leak that was originaly thought to be a slab leak but it turned out to be my gout. Called the tile doctor. He replaced the tile and the leak stoped and the shower looked great

Went fine. I had my questions answered. The worker was courteous, neat and quickly did the job. There was absolutely no mess to clean up.

Joe was on time for estimate. Installation was done exactly as offered. Excellent artistic lay out of tile, mosaic around fireplace opening. I selected grout color. Cleaned up professionally, hauled old tile away. Came back and sealed the job.

Daniel showed up exactly when he said he would, ready to work. He looked at what we wanted done, made a few excellent suggestions of his own, and followed through on all his promises. He was personable, made sure that every step pleased us, and cleaned up after himself. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any tile-related work, and give Daniel himself an A++. An additional note - a few years ago, I hired The Tile Doctor to clean old, dirty kitchen floor grout. It could not be cleaned, but they suggested that it could be painted. I gave them the go-ahead, and was extremely pleased with the outcome. It had to have been back-breaking, sore-knees work, but the results were flawless, and the kitchen floor looked brand new.

Joe was prompt and thorough doing the estimate. Quick response, kept appointment, prompt email of estimate. The price was reasonable.Joe's son-in-law did the tile installation (sorry I don't know your name!). The work done was gorgeous! My husband and I are so happy with it! It was done within the projected time frame. Area clean when he was finished. Price as agreed upon.I would definitely use Tile Doctor again in the future.

It went very good. There were other locations in the grout that had been caulked by the builder which the Tile Doctor repaired also. We were very please with the work and the professionalism. The shower looks like it should've at the beginning.

The owner, Joe Wilson of The Tile Doctor was very nice and courteous. He sent over his son-in-law, Danny who was nice and courteous too to do the job. At first, he was very quiet, but later on, he was friendly and he did a pretty good job in cleaning, re-grouting, re-caulking & resealing our bathroom tiles. Not 100% perfect, but we're quite satisfied with it for the reasonable price. Will use his service again or I might refer him to my family, friends & relatives in the future.

I don’t remember how much they charged but it was the same amount as what the estimate was. They did exactly what we wanted done and the bathroom looks good after they got through. They were there on time and serviced us on time. They did everything they said that they were going to do. Their price was good. We will use their services again in the future.

Everything went very well. Danny was very nice and courteous. Even the animals liked him. The shower looks great! I'd definitely use them again.

We initially had Joe come to give us an estimate for completely demolishing two bathrooms in the upstairs of our home. I liked him VERY much. He was punctual, professional and his estimate was very reasonable. (It's not easy finding those traits nowadays...trust me! But because they are a smaller, family owned and operated company, they aren't insured or bonded. This gave my husband some pause, so we decided to go with a different company, which was insured. The other company came with good ratings from both Angie's List and the Best of Collin County 2010 Guide. Without going into details of THAT experience, which was less than good, I dropped that contractor after the first bath was "completed," (term used loosely...) and called Joe, owner of The Tile Doctor, and asked him if he would still be interested in doing the second bathroom for us. He was happy to, but he still wanted to come back, (again... right on time,) and checked everything out once again just to make sure that the initial estimate, (now several months old,) was still on target, (which it was.) While the "other guy" took over a month to complete just one bathroom, when I was initially told that BOTH bathrooms would be finished in less than two weeks, and in plenty of time to accommodate my large crowd of Christmas company coming to town, it ended-up taking FAR, FAR longer because other "bigger" jobs came up and I, apparently, got bumped to the bottom of their customer priority list. There were many other "issues" which I tolerated, (choked down,) but made me less than happy, although that contractor and his "helpers" were always very nice, though NEVER on time. The plumber, supposed to arrive one day around 11:00 am, ended-up arriving with his helper late into the afternoon, and stayed until after 10:30 at night! When Joe came out to give me the second estimate, he guaranteed that the entire job would be completed in 4-5 days, and he wasn't kidding! Danny started last Wednesday, and completed the ENTIRE job in 5 days. (Since the jobs were nearly the same, this made me realize how badly I had actually been treated by the other contractor, once I had a point of comparison.) Joe's son-in-law, Danny, did nearly all of the work ALONE, and he was awesome! He is SO meticulous about every aspect of the job...installing the new tub and toilet, carefully installing the expensive new fixtures, and all of the tile work is absolutely gorgeous!!! Talk about a hard worker and a perfectionist! We typically do most jobs around the house ourselves, because over the years we've found that we do a far better job than most hired help usually does, and we don't leave a wake of destruction in our own wake. But we also know our limitations, and this was a job which called for true professionals. Joe and Danny showed the highest regard for our property, and NOTHING was damaged during the process. (NOT the case with the other guy, btw...) They always arrived right on time, were the nicest gentlemen, and Brian, the plumber whom they used to install the new shower valve, was just like them...terrific in every way! There were so many little things, too...like Danny doing all of the tile cutting out by the street, next to his truck and over a tarp, so the debris wouldn't end-up all over and buried in the lawn, and the dust wouldn't be everywhere. He was so neat and careful, that I didn't even have to lift a finger at the conclusion of each work day, cleaning up the mess. It was amazing to see such care, and good 'ol fashioned courtesy in this day and age. Another stunning surprise came when Joe couldn't get the tile company to provide the PERFECT MATCH bull nose trim for the shower area. He escalated the problem, (at his own time and expense,) up the chain of management at the tile company, (even having the manager meet him at the warehouse,) which caused them to finally do the leg-work to locate the correct trim that matched the tile. He DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT. He could've just told me what the other guy did...that "it was the best they could do." Our new bathroom is more beautiful and meticulously crafted than when it was brand new 20 years ago, and The Tile Doctor, (Joe and Danny,) made the experience both exciting and fun for us to watch, as it progressed through each tedious step. Don't think that The Tile Doctor is only for cleaning, re-grouting and sealing either...They can do the biggest of remodeling jobs, too, and you won't be a bit disappointed in the price, the professionalism, the courtesy or the final product. It was a FUN experience and we will DEFINITELY be using Joe and Danny again in the future. We've also learned a valuable lesson: DON'T JUDGE A COMPANY BY IF THEY ARE INSURED AND BONDED OR NOT...or if they seem "nice" or "knowledgeable." Those are nice commodities, but NOT as important as we once thought. Neither will guarantee that you'll end-up happy with the finished product OR the experience you'll have to endure once you sign the contract and they start the work! THE TILE DOCTOR has made me a BIG believer in "DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER!" (They are an AWESOME...AWESOME...AWESOME family of craftsmen.) (NO, I DO NOT work for The Tile Doctor, nor do I stand to gain one thing from this report. I more than happily paid my bill in full, and well BEFORE I responded to Angie's request for a rating on them. This report is straight from the heart, and I hope it helps others find a good bathroom remodeler and tile craftsman easier than I did and, hopefully, avoiding a first bad and sadly regretful experience, like I had.)

I have no complaints about the person performing the grout work. He was careful keeping the area cleaned, was well mannered and continued working without taking a break. The work was completed in about 8 hours and Joe, the owner returned in two days to seal. Everything went well and I was 100% satisfied.

Showed up on time and did excellent work. This is the second time I have used this contractor. Would highly recommend
