I've been doing business with Lance and Lee Folse at NT Lush Lawn Sprinklers since 1983. They have provided excellent, professional service at reasonable rates installing 3 residential sprinkler systems for me during the past 40 years. The crews are punctual, the equipment and work are top tier. I will continue to utilize their services in the future and recommend them highly for irrigation systems design, installation, modification, maintenance and repairs. CF

My wife and I used North Texas Lush Lawn Sprinklers to install a sprinkler system. We started with the front yard in 2014 and due to some drainage issues and other yard issues we were having, installed the sprinklers in the back yard in the fall of 2017. Lance, the owner of North Texas Lush Lawns assisted us with both installation jobs. We spent about $2500 total on the front and the back, which includes a year warranty. The warranty on the front has already expired. I am currently under warranty for the rear. After the installation in the back yard, Lance came over to collect a check. A day or so later, I turned the system on to make sure it worked and then turned off the system at the switch inside the garage. Everything seemed to work well and the system has never been turned on since. In mid December of 2017, we had three to four days of temperatures that were around 20 degrees or colder. As the temperatures began to rise, my wife noticed that we had standing water around our shed (in exactly the same place that the sprinkler system was installed). My wife and I immediately began thinking that maybe the irrigation pipe broke due to the extreme temperatures. My wife called Lance and explained the situation. Lance stated that there was nothing wrong with the system. He said we need to check to see if the water was coming from our neighbor's back yard. We told him that it was indeed seeping from the ground immediately under the area that the irrigation pipes were laid. We further explained that we were concerned that a pipe could have broke due to the extreme cold. Lance said he would send someone by to check on the system. One of Lance's employees came by and turned off a valve. He went into the back yard and assured my wife nothing was wrong with the system. This guy was at our house for a total of 10 minutes and could give no explanation for the standing water. I called Lance the next day, just for peace of mind. I was worried about the extreme temperatures and the volume of water that was in our yard. I noticed a change in Lance's demeanor. Lance began talking over me and his volume changed. He was clearly annoyed that I would have the audacity to call him to ask a question or maybe to question his work. Lance continually told me that there was nothing wrong but gave no explanation at all for the standing water. On about January 18, 2018, we received a bill from Lance for $65.00. The explanation of the bill said "showed how to turn off sprinkler." I called Lance and left a message on his machine that I needed to talk to him about the bill. On January 22, 2018, Lance called me and his tone and demeanor was horrible. He was immediately defensive as the conversation started. He talked over me as I questioned why I was being billed while my rear sprinkler was under warranty. Lance explained that he showed us how to use the system three years prior and that he has to pay his employee $27.00/ hr to leave a job and show us again how to use our system. I reminded him that our issue was the standing water in my yard. Lance continued to say that there was nothing wrong with the system so he had to charge. I told Lance that if he felt good about this charge, I would pay it but due to the fact that I was paying for something covered under his warranty, I would never do business with his company again. Lance again yelled and told me that he is the cheapest installer in Denton and that he didn't need my business. Bottom line is this: Lance is a hot head. Lance is a bully who likes to talk over people. Lance apparently charges his customers for service calls on systems that are under warranty. I still do not know whether or not my system will leak or not, when it is time to turn it on. I mailed Lance a check today for $65.00. I figured that someone that petty must really need the money. I want to make it clear that the front yard has worked flawlessly. The equipment seems to be of high quality. I also want to make it clear that Lance did explain how to use the switch in the garage when he installed the original system in the front yard, three years ago. My issue with Lance is his lack of respect for a customer, his inability to communicate properly, his overbearing bullish attitude when someone questions him and a $65 charge for an issue covered by his warranty.

David came out to locate the valve box and repair a couple of stations, and he did the repair so quickly that we decided to have him look at a couple of other things that we had intended to do ourselves. All work was done quickly and properly. Very fair price for the labor and materials. Will definitely call them again when we have sprinkler issues. Very pleased.

They were great. They came out in last fall and I spent about $4500. Everything about them we liked, from their personality, to their punctuality, to the way they explained everything to us. They're very friendly and their price was good. I've had no issues with their system since they installed it. We've only had them out to tweak the sprinklers a little bit. We're happy all the way around.

I called North Texas Lush Lawn Sprinklers for an estimate. Lance made arrangements to come out and look the yard over while I was working. He worked up a bid and called to arrange an appointment to deliver. Due to my schedule we were unable to work out a time to meet and he left the bid on my porch on a Saturday morning. I obtained several other bids, higher and lower, but the Lush Lawn bid provided detail of how many zones and the different types of sprinklers, and flyer of the supplies and warranty information. I called Lance back the following week and he came back out to walk through the plan with me. We made a few adjustments, adding in drip lines to accomodate my hanging baskets and an additional water faucet on the side of my house. We scheduled an appoint for install for three weeks out. During that time, there were several rain storms and I was expecting the appointment to be delayed. But no, Lance called early in the week and scheduled Thursday and Friday. The weather forecast was for more rain and I was concerned that I would end up with quite a mess over the weekend. But, Lance was prepared and had an additional crew on board for Thursday. They arrived early, worked very quickly and effficiently and completed the project in one day before the rain hit Thursday evening. Though I was amazed at the amount of lines that crisscrossed my yard they avoided doing any damage to the many trees and shrubs in my yard. All survived and are doing well. Lance came out on Saturday morning and walked me through setting up the timer and gave me suggested times for waering each zone. About a month later I had identified some dry spots and called to have someone come out and do some adjustments. The young man that came out was very knowledgeable and made a few adjustments, but mostly educated me a bit more the sysem and dealing with the Texsa heat. Excellent company, performed the work as promised with very professional crew.
Description of Work: Installed a sprinker system in my yard ~ 1/3 acre of established trees, shrubs and lawn. Consisted of 9 sprinkler zones, a drip line for watering hanging baskets, an additoinal faucet, the controller and rain gauge.

I contact N.T. Lush Lawn Sprinklers by phone. They were to come out the next morning. I did not have contact with them until I called about mid day they were to have been here. They apologized, saying there had been a mix up in the office with scheduling. They set the appointment for the next morning at 8:30. The service man showed up at 8:20 and had the work completed shortly. The work was done professionally.

After another company never showed up for an appointment, I hit Angie's List again and found N. TX Lush Lawn Sprinklers. They were both quick to return my call and arrived on right on time for an early morning appointment, which I'd requested so I wouldn't have to miss much work. They quickly found and repaired the problems which had caused one sector of my sprinkler system to run constantly, at least until I manually shut off the main valve. They also diagnosed the (embarrassingly simple) problem that had my control box on the fritz. The only issue I had is that they didn't give me an estimate before beginning work, and couldn't even tell me the total cost of the service call when they had finished. Instead I only learned the cost of the repair when my bill arrived. Thankfully, it was a fair price. But all in all, given the issues I've had with local sprinkler repair companies, I'd happily use them again, and recommend them to others.

Refered to me by my neighbor; called on a Monday or Tuesday and left a message; call was returned later that day; arranged to come by next morning as their 1st appointment and explained their pricing; 2 techs arrived right at 8:00 AM; determined the problem (which was really due to me being unfamilar with the system); they did replace a head that was better suited to the area for that zone. The tech explained to me that I would be billed and when the bill arrived, it was more than fair.
Description of Work: Needed someone to troubleshoot an issue with my sprinkler system; thought I had a leak or broken pipe
