Omar cleaned the chimney, installed the gas logs and was very cheerful and professional. I felt he was experienced and took pride in placing everything to maximize the beauty of the fireplace.

Masters showed up on time and did a thorough job of inspecting and cleaning my chimney. The technician also let me know what work should be done before next winter and did some patch work at no additional charge. I'll use them again.

They came when they said they would. Provided us an estimate and completed work promptly and satisfactory.

Lately when it rains, water drips into my fireplace. The builder and one of his roofers checked my roof and cap and could not find a problem. They determined that during a very windy storm, water would blow into the cap and therefore into the fireplace. Masters found the flu to be open and of course that would cause rain to enter the fireplace. Although we have used the fireplace numerous times over the winter, apparently we left it open and of course when it rained, water came down the flu. However, even after closing the flu, the flu still leaked during the next rain. So I will be contacting Masters again to set up a follow-up appointment. Their service men were courteous and professional. And I did feel kind of dumb after they discovered the flu to be open. However, there is leakage problem and I will ask them inspect the roof and chimney to determine if there is a problem that can be resolved.
