Warning about Leafy Lawn Care and Landscaping (Brian Dunbar - 214-280-9467) We used Leafy Lawn's weekly mowing service for three months this spring (March-May). The price was cheap, but we weren't satisfied with how our yard looked or with the non-responsiveness and delays to our spring cleanup requests. We terminated the service as of the end of May, which Brian acknowledged by text, and we sent the workers away when they still showed up anyway the first week of June. The company has performed no work for us since the end of May. Still Leafy Lawn has continued to charge our credit card for monthly work. Even after admitting that billing us for June was a mistake, the company never provided us the promised refund and even charged our credit card again for July. Now Brian won't respond to calls and emails and we will likely have to change our credit card number to avoid this going on indefinitely. Avoid at all costs.

I'm not that happy with them. I'm actually looking for a new service. For price, I know that I can get it cheaper from other people. That's my big issue. They show up, they do their job, it's just not great. They're not very attentive to what they've gotta do. For example, there's a hammock in my back yard that they have to move to mow, and they never put it back, so every week I have to move it back where it's supposed to be. That's annoying to me. If you move it, move it back. English is an issue. A couple of their workers ... like I had a land survey done and they pulled the stakes up out of the ground so then I had to have the surveyors come back and put the stakes back in, which was annoying. The surveyors fortunately didn't charge me, but they could have because they had to come back out. I've left messages with them and I never get a call-back, which is kind of annoying.

Brian and the guys did a very good job, especially for the first mow of the season. They have always been punctual and courteous when doing their jobs. We have used Brian and crew for over 6 years and have often referred them to other friends in the area. Brian can do anything from weekly mowing routine to hedge/bush trimming, and any other landscape services needed. Brian knows his business and we trust him with all of our needs.
