Gohlke Pools

It's easy to provide great customer service when things go well. But when things are difficult, when equipment doesn't behave like it's supposed to and the troubleshooting is hard, that's when you really see what a company is made of. We had one pesky controller that would not work like it was supposed to. It took quite a few visits, manufacturer's reps and lead technicians, replacements and tweaks, trying to figure out why this would not work. Finally the best solution was a new controller that was a different model but better and is working flawlessly. Our pool has never looked better. Thanks to Joey for his help and a big thanks to Gary. Gary took ownership of this issue and kept in near constant communication with us and the manufacturer. Top tier customer service! I'm glad we continue to give all our pool business to the team at Gohlke!

They did good work. They were slower than I would have liked. I still have a little issue with the tiles that he's got to come back and look at. Other than that, he did real good work. He did what he said he would do. They have honored the warranties and things that he had. His following up with customers isn't that good. I had to call him and ask him if he was going to come out and fix the tiles.

I called and reported a third time that my salt cell was blinking again. I called on a Friday and let them know and they said that someone would get back with me on Monday. No ever called me back. I had to call on Tues. and they had not set up an appointment for me. Finally they said that they would be out sometime Friday. I ask if they could schedule me a little sooner since I had called the following Friday and they stated no that they were just too busy and only had 1 Tech. I finally decided not to have them out this last time since they were just too busy. They always had the excuse that they were not in my area at the time. I have done business with them for the last couple of years, but I always felt like they put me last on their appointment list. I will not use then anymore. The new pool provider checked things over and found that my filter was dirty, ( had been cleaned in March) after cleaning it and doing the acid wash and putting a new gauge on. My pool water has looked great and I am not having the algae on the sides of my pool.

The initial installation was faulty, it was a little loose, but they came right back out and fixed in a short period of time, so I'm pretty happy.

We built a pool at our prior home with another builder and had a bad experience, so we throughly checked out Gohlke's references. All the responses were amazingly positive and now we know why. Gohlke built us a beautiful pool and outdoor kitchen and the process was simple and stress free. The entire Gohlke staff, including all contractors, are professionals and take pride in doing a good job. We would not hesitate in using Gohlke again.

We are very happy with the service and the overall result. Gohlke's Tim Broyles, our designer and project manager, had to overcome a number of obstacles, which the landscaping necessary to deal with drainage from the hillside that we cut into to create the back yard. The heavy spring rains in the middle of the project were a headache for everyone, but even with several ongoing projects, Tim kept his promises and our pool was completed on time.

This company was extremely easy to work with. We were new to the pool building / maintaining world. This was our first pool. When looking at pool companies we decided to really rely on references from previous customers. By far Gohlke had the longest list of satisfied customers. I called over 36 references in their extensive list to make absolutely positive this was the right company before we spent this large sum of money. Every one of them had good/ great things to say. No complaints. The pool process was explained up front and the supervisor and job owner followed the schedule perfectly. They built the pool in about 4.5 weeks and we had no issue with it or the equipment in the last 3 years. Their price is not the cheapest and they will tell you that up front but they offer a very good product, have a solid team of people to take care of you and did an awesome job. They serviced our pool for 3 years and did a great job. Our dogs were in the yard all the time and there was never an issue. In fact I was home one time and went out to talk to the tech and he asked where one of my dogs was and she had passed away since his last visit. I thought it was very nice that he noticed she was not around. We will be building a new house in the future and plan to use Gohlke for that new pool as well. They do an awesome job.
