+ -1 moreFantastic. He took his time and labored over every detail. It took him a little over a week. He gave us solid advice on paint coverage and color which turned out to be extremely sound. His estimate was what he charged us. All his workers have grey in their hair; he said, "I don't hire youth. I've got nothing against youth, but you get a better quality job with the experienced guys." The paint job itself is wonderful, and our house has never looked this good. I have gone over every inch and have not found a single schmutz, overspray, or any evidence of a lapse in attention. We had months before already made arrangements for another painter to paint our interior, but we've changed our minds in favor of Ruben. When you find a painter or carpenter or plumber who does just what he says and displays Ruben's level of craftsmanship, you latch on to them and don't let go.
Description of Work: Powerwashed entire exterior, caulked, primed brick and siding and painted entire house in four different colors including doors. He sealed every crack, including some fairly significant ones that arose after we were flooded last year. He even went the extra mile and did some minor carpentry which made our garage doorway look much better. All of it within the estimate. Our house is a 1.5 story brick and hardiboard veneer with wood fascia and composite soffits, built in 1981 and never painted since. Mr. Salinas also did not show up at 7:00, which suited us just fine. He came a little later and stayed later.

Description of Work: Ruben repaired water damage in my bathroom ceiling. He sanded, filled cracks, taped and painted the ceiling.
