My A/C went out late on a Saturday. I looked in phone book for repairman found 2. Then when checked with Angie's list my membership expired so renewed. Looked up the one on review that had the most reviews all or most A's. Called and was told as ad in phone book 24/7 emergency calls. She was going to contact them and they would call me NEVER HEARD A WORD BACK. so called CBS that I used years back and couldn't remember all about them. They only had 4 reviews on Angie's checking A's I called Sunday morning 8:30a after an 80 degree night on the couch. At 9:10a got a call from the man on call said would be here in about 40 min. Was here at 9:50a. He checked A/C in attic and the Unit outside part replaced for $191.00. I think might have been bit higher as emergency weekend call, but worth every penny. I will put them on speed dial as they do other work,too.

The first people I used were going to charge me a lot of money. CBS came out and said the repair would be only $400 to get me through the season and it worked wonderfully.

They are communicative, punctual, responsive, and professional. They are competent.

They explained everything. It was a really good experience. They answered every question, they were very patient. They finished the job in one day and the performance has vastly improved.

We noticed a leak around the hot water heater and called the the plumber. He first inspected the old hot water heater. It was about 12 years old but the outside was clean. He said that the unit needed to be replaced and gave me an estimate. He explained that if we bought a heater through him he would have to mark it up about 50% so we could save money if we got it ourselves. We didn't have a vehicle that could handle that. He later offered to add a layer of plywood to the floor of our hot water heater housing. The house is 20 years old and the hot water heater closet floor was sagging a bit. I accepted his offer and he did a good job fitting in the plywood layer. He then installed a drip pan around the new heater and drilled a hole in the wall and installed an overflow pipe. The workmanship seems pretty good and the new water heater is working well.
