Showed up on time. Completed the work with minimal mess. Although I knew that the ceiling would need to be cut in order to install the lighting, care was taken to insure the least amount of cutting necessary. The lights look great thanks to Vertis and his team. He offered sound advise in location and height of each light. I would definitely use Abbott Electric again!!!!

It was fine. They did contact me right away. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I think the total was close to $200. They made a mistake the first time and they did come back and fix it. So that was good.

Everything was excellent. They were good and prompt. I was very happy with them.

It went very well. He was very full but he fit me in due to the urgency of the situation so I was very happy. They're very personable and accommodating.

We bought the 2 hour $99 electrical check up. Abbott rescheduled several times, and were not easy to get to come. Once they did come, the person was not knowledgeable and additionally, acted like he wanted to hurry up and leave. We wanted diagnosis of where wiring was, as we had just moved into a new house and wanted to get all lights working. What we got was a few hard to reach light bulbs changed and that was it. It was not worth it for our money, was not as expected, and lasted 20 minutes vs. the 2 hours. I would strongly not recommend using Abbott after our experience.

To put in the lights that were needed ended up just being too expensive.

Work was not performed. I did not write this review. I have REPEATEDLY tried to contact this provider and have not received a response.

They were timely and did the work pretty quickly. It was positive. They were friendly and efficient. They did quality work. I had no issues.

EVERY THING WENT WELL THERE WAS mR. ABBOTT AND HELPER...THEY WERE VERY POLITE, KIND, PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK CARE OF ALL MY NEEDS.

My recessed 2002 microware bloomed white hot at the metal place where the wires would have entered the microwave from the wall. It took me about 3 seconds to get to the microwave and turn it off. I didn?t know If: #1. Had it done damage to the wires in the wall? #2. Was there smoldering fire in the wall and perhaps going up into the ceiling. I was quite concerned for about an hour. I didn?t want any one to use the microwave until I could get someone to look into it. So I taped masking tape over the door and the part you push to turn it on. Angie's list offered electrical work as a special and I jumped at it. Abbott Electric, Inc. offered the special. When they came I was so very glad to see them. They took the microwave out and placed it on my island and plugged it in. Yes ? It bloomed again. They said the microwave was toast. I would have to buy a new one. But I want everyone to know that they made me feel comfortable about them being there. Very friendly and they were quite competent. They also gave me every bit of information I would need to find another microwave to fit in the same hole. I highly recommend them.

They promptly set up an appointment and came when they said they would. Thought that was a GREAT start. Most important they did a WONDERFUL job installing the can lights. Took great care to install them in a straight line and they look GREAT! Would TOTALLY recommend these guys to other Angies List members

The earliest available appointment time was 2 weeks out from the time that I called the company. On the date of service, the servicemen were pretty punctual but very unprofessional. I felt uncomfortable as they made comments about my home, the expensive oven range, and what occupations my husband and I must be in. It was very unprofessional, and coupled with the fact that they didn't perform any repair service--I will never call them again. They were in my home for less than 5 minutes and told me that the problem must be the oven, and not electrical. I explained why I thought it was electrical and the surrounding circumstances. They were not convinced, and after very little inspection of the problem, they said I should call an "appliance guy." After their poor service, I called an independent electrician who addressed the electrical problem, a breaker issue. I was surprised to receive such poor service from an Angie's List Member.

We did have to reschedule the visit one time because the company had an emergency to deal with but they kept me informed and came on the agreed to date, Two men came and handled the 3 jobs very professionally. I was well pleased with the work that they did and would use them again if I have a need for electrical work

It has been great and they did an excellent job. They even saved me some money. They were very friendly and on time and got everything done. They got the job done in about an hour. I have no problems, and they were very professional and they informed me around the time they would be arriving. I would recommend them to others.

I have had their service before, and I think they are a really nice group of men that they send out. I feel like they’re very trustworthy and I am not worried about them when they are in my house. They are pretty efficient. I think their price is good for what I use them for and they were on time. We did have to reschedule the appointment with them to come out, but there were no issues.

Our only issue with this provider was that he called right before he wanted to come do the work. As it happened, that time was convenient for us, but it would have been nicer if he had called in advance.

Services were performed as requested. Direct supervision was required to get the desired level of workmanship. Otherwise, the power lines would not have been concealed properly. Also, the cover was not installed flush which would have allowed water to enter. The workers were friendly and cooperative.

I asked if the sensors for the outside lights could be replaced when I called to make the appointment. I asked if I should provide them or would they be provided by the contractors when they arrived. I was assured they would be replaced. They were not replaced. One outside light bulb (which I provided) was replaced. I asked for a chandelier to be fitted in my dining room - I warned the company when I made the appointment that it was very heavy and a two man job. When the two fitters arrived they broke the safety wire on the chandelier and had no chain to secure it so did not fit it. I still have no light sensors, no chandelier fitted and have paid them $100 for fitting a light bulb (which I could have done myself), breaking my chandelier and spending 30 minutes at my house. I consider this to be extraordinarily bad service and would never recommend them.

I am frustrated by this service provider and Angie's list in general. I have contracted with three service providers found on your list with an "A" rating and only one of them would I ever consider using again in the future.

They were not responsive in a timely manor.

It was fine. They did what they were supposed to do. It took them longer than I anticipated, but they didn't charge me extra. They were very responsive and very friendly. I would recommend them to others.

They were quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I really liked the results from their efforts.
