My house looks awesome! Hans was very professional and did a great job. The price was VERY reasonable. Definitely will refer him to friends and family and will use again.

I called Hans in the morning and was fortunate that he could not only come out that morning to give me a quote but was also available to do the work that afternoon. He and his crew gave my palm the much needed trim. They cleaned up all the trimmings and were gone without a trace. Thank you Hans!

They were very flexible in accomodating request while at worksite. They arrived on time and did a very good job cleaning up.

We were completely satisfied with the service. They arrived on time. They had a crew of four. They used proper safety measures - safety goggles, safety harness when in tree, spotter for person in the tree, proper gloves. They worked efficiently but not hurriedly. They cleaned up everything after themselves. In fact they asked if we wanted them to take some limbs set out for trash from the backyard (which we did) at no extra cost. They were very pleasant and respectful. We would definitely use them again.

Hans has a wonderful team of professionals. His bid was very acceptable and service was performed the same day. He explained everything they would do and they certainly met my expectations. Everything was cleaned up and taken off my property. I have a completely different back yard now and I'm so delighted. I will certainly use his service again in the future. Requested a quote and Hans came out within the hour to provide it. Called the following week to schedule the removal and it was taken care of that day for the price that was quoted. Simple and fast, could not have gone more smoothly.

The crew was excellent. I have two huge oak trees and one monsterous pecan tree that tower over my one-story house. 3-5 years ago I mistakenly planted a yucca, but it since has been crowded out by the pecan and was growing with a severe lean. They cut the yucca down for me and trimmed all trees on my property. Besides the three huge trees mentioned, there are also two smaller oaks that were on the front. The trimming were long overdue and they did excellent work by cleaning out dead branches and clearing overcrowding inner branches. It was long overdue. Oh, and they also had a mulcher out front to mulch down all cuttings, trimmings, and branches.

They did a good job. They got it all cleaned out. The only part that they couldn't get they fished back in the alley because there is no way of getting it over the fence. I thought that they were reasonably priced.

Hans was punctual and responsive. His crew did a thorough job. His company has a good reputation in the neighborhood and was recommended to us. And we would recommend him.

Hans and his crew were able to start work a day earlier than planned. They showed up on time with plenty of equipment to get the job done. Hans and his crew were professional, thorough, and courteous. Hans removed pine needles from our roof, which was not even part of the job. His crew cut a large live oak limb into short pieces that we kept for firewood. They cleaned up all the limbs, bush trimmings, and chips from the stump grindings. The job was completed in less than eight hours at the agreed upon price of $1480.00. My wife and I could not have been happier with the way our trees and bushes looked. We would definitely recommend Southeast Tree to anyone needing this type of service.

I called them and the same day they were able to come out. They trimmed the two oak trees I have in my front yard and hauled off the limbs. They did a great job and I will definitely use them the next time I need tree services.

Hans came over within an hour of my call and we walked the yard together (it is about 2/3 of an acre with a variety of trees from very old and huge to young). His price was good so we set a date. His crew showed up bright and early and got to work. It was a large crew, at least 4 men on site, sometimes 5. Their equipment was top-notch. They had 3 large vehicles including an impressive chipper. I was especially impressed by the skill of the crew in cutting branches that were as large as trees themselves from high above my roof. While they were doing this they also had to move electric wires aside. It was real teamwork and nothing touched my roof! Oscar's aerial skills are amazing and Slim was so courteous in offering to help with the gates. This team was even thoughtful about letting me know when it would be safe to let my dogs out for a break. The trees look beautiful and it is a relief to know that my house and fence should be safe if we have high winds. The job was huge-it took all day-they moved a ton of wood. Awesome job! I would highly recommend and use again!

Also did a few extra small jobs

Called on a Tuesday morning; Hans returned my call promptly and came out that afternoon to give me an estimate. The large tree, which had been poorly trimmed by a different contractor a couple of years ago, had some wind damage and was also contacting the eaves of the house. One of the smaller trees was essentially dead, and the other two were very small and had essentially become nuisances to me. A few days later he and his crew arrived, took care of the job, and cleaned up the area afterwards. His foreman (Hans was there for the start of the job) said I should just call Hans the next day to settle up. I called the next day and left him a message, including a couple of follow-on questions about the work. The next time I spoke with him he had already come back to check it out himself. He told me he wasn't completely satisfied with the work and said they would be back out to make it completely right. They did that within a day or two, and when I spoke with Hans to settle up, he knocked $25 off the quote because it had taken longer than he expected it to. All in all, a very nice experience with a competent, friendly, and honorable man and company. It's good to know that I have someone to call the next time I need tree work done.

Hans showed up within 1/2 hour of my call. I told him exactly what I needed and he gave me a very fair and reasonable quote. I booked him for the next day (today). They showed up promptly at 8am, did exactly what I wanted, cleaned up my yard, driveway, and road because of all the limbs and did this with a very professional crew within 2 hours. AMAZING! It is very refreshing to see this kind of work ethic. I would not hesitate to call them again.

I have a huge oak tree in my backyard. During a storm, one of the limbs that hung over my roof, broke and was hanging vertically, still attached to the tree. I was very concerned about it falling and damaging the roof or worse falling on someone. I called Southeast Tree from work and spoke with Hans. He went out to my house that very morning to look at the tree. He called me back right away with an estimate. It was a good price. So the next morning Hans's crew came out and within 20 minutes of arriving to my house, the limb was removed from the tree. This limb was much larger than I thought it was. If it had fallen, it definitely would have put a hole in the roof. I appreciate so much how quickly the crew showed up and did the job. They removed every bit of the limb from my property. Also they blew all the leaves off my roof and cleaned them up. That wasn't expected. Thank you for going the extra mile. Hans and his crew are very polite, professional and knowIedgeable and I would definitely hire them again.

I am so happy to have the beautiful crepe myrtle in my yard although I miss by huge old tree. I plan to use him again for some trees that need to removed in my back yard

Hans came to my house to give an estimate within 15 minutes of my call! The crew showed up early the next business day and completed the job in about an hour and a half. My trees look great! They cleaned up everything, and even raked up more than the mess they made! They definitely left my yard better than they found it.

I called on Wednesday for a bid. The price was good. Although a crew could have come out that day, Friday was a better day for me. The crew arrived on time and got to work right away. All were in constant motion removing branches. It took between 2 and 3 hours to complete. When the job was finished my yard was raked. Both trees look better and I don't have to worry about a branch taking out my electrical line when the next storm passes through this area. I will call this business again and I will be recommending them to others.

This was a great experiance, I would use them again. They got everything done and cleaned up in about half a day. They were able to come out to the property to give a quote the same day I called and I didn't even have to worry about leaving work to be there. That was on a Wednesday afternoon. Less then two days later, that very Friday morning just after 7am they showed up with a full crew and immeadiatly started work. They removed two large full grown trees and another tree about have the size of the other two trees. Ground the stumps, ground any roots they could find above ground, and leveled the ground afterward. Then they also removed 8 Holly bushes, and another bush that was dead. All trash material was fully removed and hauled away, the property looks great! Great communication and they kept their word.

A huge limb broke on the tree in my front yard, damaging my neighbor's fence and blocking the street. Hans answered when I called and was at my house within 30 minutes. He gave me very fair price and immediately went to work. The entire job was done in just a couple of hours, down to the last little twig. I was amazed at how well the yard was cleaned up, leaving no signs of the damage. He also gave me suggestions and pricing on how best to trim the tree to save it for years to come. I plan to have him back soon for more trimming. I will definitely use this service for all my tree needs in the future, and recommend them without reservation. This experience alone makes my Angie's List membership worth every penny.

They came out to do the job the same day I called. The crew was 3-4 guys total, and they were courteous and punctual. They got the job done in about an hour. I was expecting them to dig out the roots by hand, but Hans said that wasn't necessary with this type of tree/bush. I admit I was fairly skeptical, but it's been 6 months and I haven't had any return growth, so it looks like he was right. (In fairness, we didn't discuss my expectation beforehand. I never thought to ask "how" they'd get the roots.) When they were nearly finished, I asked them to pull/dig a few loose roots that I could see near the surface and they cheerfully did so. They cleaned everything up and left the area spotless. I was really impressed. One minor glitch occurred and they warned me beforehand that it might happen - they accidentally cut my cable TV line. I repaired it myself - parts cost me about $12. I didn't ask them to reimburse me because it was my choice to fix it rather than have the cable company to come do it. (The cable guys would come for free. I just couldn't spare the time off work.) Overall, I think they did a pretty good job and I'd use them again. But the price still seems high for an hour's worth of work, even considering the cost of owning/using a stump grinder. But that's really the only reason my overall rating is "good" instead of excellent. (Like I said, I thought they were going to have to dig out the roots by hand, so I felt $225 was probably about right for 2-3 hours work. I wasn't smart enough to ask how they'd do it andr how long it would take. I probably wouldn't have been willing to pay $225 if I'd understood. But that's really my issue, not theirs.)

This service was extremely overpriced and he charged me more for havign to drive to my neighborhood. I specifically requested that I needed to yard to look nice because we are selling our house and I am going for curb appeal. This request from me was ignored and the crew severely cut back the bushes and trees TOO MUCH!! It was like getting a haircut and they cut it way too short and then you have to wait a year for yoru hair to grow back, except it cost me $445. My beautiful boxwood bushes were cut back to show the inside branches and the yellow leaves underneath. Instead of shaping them, they massacred the bushes. In addition, the front row of the bushes around my bay window were uneven and jagged. I had to go back through after they left and try to make it look better, to no avail. They also left a large portion of the cut branches on top of the bushes, in front, and behind, leaving me to clean all of that out. In addition, they did not cut a clean line behind the bushes, and I had to go back to do that myself. I asked him to remove one tree. He said it would cost $60 to cut it down, but another $90 to remove the stump. So I just told him to leave the stump and I had to deal with that myself. DO NOT hire this company! The owner ended up calling me once he saw this review. He asked how he could fix the problem, but you cannot undo a cut that is too short. I will note he did not offer to refund any of my payment to compensate for the disappointing work.

He was did an excellent job and was punctual. He was such a good fellow. Did the job and the price was very reasonable. He brought his machinery in and it made it past my gate. It didn't take him long. He is very trustworthy and his name was Hans Bilderback.
