The crew arrived on time, was very easy to work with, and did a fantastic job. I had toyed with trying to do the most immediate part of this job myself and putting off the rest. I'm so glad I didn't. The work they did was amazing, and at a fair price. I'm incredibly pleased with this very professional job. In addition to the basic limb-cutting, they really have an eye for maintaining a good-looking tree, and they know how to both maintain both the beauty of the trees as well as their health.

My trees really needed a good haircut. They were overgrown and generated too much shade, so my grass had been dying and disappearing in the shaded areas. Deer Park Arbor Specialist crew showed up the very day I called and got all of the work done. All of the branches were hauled off, and they did an excellent clean up job. My trees look really great, and my grass is making a comeback. I was 100% satisfied with the quality of their work, and the price was reasonable considering the size of the trees. I had them come back a few weeks later to trim some large bushes and hedges - another excellent job and very reasonable price.

After not showing up the 1st time to give us a price for the work, they did call and show up the next day. The work was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. My husband took off some time from work to meet them. After 1 1/2 he called me and asked to take over as they still had not shown up. Finally a after a phone call, they arrived at 2:00..The work after that was done efficiently. They even did a great job of cleaning it all up. I don't mind people being held up, but more phone calls to say so would have been appreciated. This was my 2nd time using them as we did not have this trouble the 1st time.

Lousy on several levels.Job was not supervised by owner but for a short time after tree removal. The big problem was the sprinkler PVC pipe was grinded which could have been detected had he been there. Even after the fact should have been noticable looking in the hole where tree was removed. Nothing was mentioned to us!. We had sprinkler system off for several weeks so we could water new grass heavily. It was when the sprinkler system was back on we noticed a problem and called our regular service provider thinking it was a valve leaking. Costing us extra $$ to repair. When we called DPAS we were told to read the small print! A good company would have been HONEST and told us when it happened. To make things worse he told my husband he could have fixed it for $50. They agreed $50 toward our sprinkler bill and a discount to trim the oak tree next year. This agreement would be in the mail. Did NOT receive it! There was alot of clay in the soil so after putting most of it in the flowerbeds I asked the crew to stop. Martinez Jr.(when showed up) said it would cost extra to take the rest away which was not discussed when he came out to do bid. He did reluctantly haul off excess. We had already mulched our beds and the clumps of clay were an eye sore. He was to bring us a few bags of mulch which were never delivered. We did it ourselves after not hearing from him by the next week.Grass was not planted at time of tree removal because he said grass farm was too wet. Wouldn't that be a concern before you start the job? So we had a big bald spot in the front yard. The grass eventually got planted ( another opportunity to tell us about the grounded pvc). It is healthy, the only good thing in this whole experience!

First of all, the younger owner jumped our fence on Sunday night (4/ 10) to and quot;just take a look around.and quot; I saw him climbing on my garage roof, which caused me to think someone was breaking in. He had attempted to call, but when we didn't pick up the phone, he went ahead and came onto our property, which I consider very unprofessional. On the contract, he agreed that his guys would remove three palm trees from the back yard. A few days beforehand, I called and changed the service contract by telling him that we did not want those trees removed. I explained to him that we were on a tight budget, and we needed to cut the costs somewhere. Her agreed that they would not remove the trees. On the day of the service, everything seemed to be going well until the stump grinder showed up. I watched one man work the stump grinder for a good while in the front yard. He packed up and left. The younger owner reappeared to settle the bill, but he refused to alter my charges, even though the three palms were intact, saying, and quot;Well, my guys were here longer than I expected, so I really can't cut the costs.and quot; They didn't really trim the palms at all, so I'm not sure what extra I was supposedly paying for, but I let it go and paid him the full original amount. (He said it would only have been a $25 difference, anyway.) The next day, my husband went to check the site of the largest stump that was ground, and he was dismayed to discover that much of the stump and several large roots were prominently intact, just below the surface of the ground. We have been digging at the same spot for over a month now, and even with a chainsaw and an electric cultivator, we cannot remove all the big pieces. We have thrown out more than 20 yard bags of roots and pieces of roots so far. Today I called another service to come and finish the job.

They were very professional and told me what he recommended doing. I was not prepared to spend that much money for such a detailed trimming project, due to the fact that we will probably be selling our home next year. I decided to go with another company who was going to do only what I needed done for a much lower price.

Deer Park Arbor Specialist worked quickly at getting my tree taken care of. I was surprised that the workers were not worried about the electricity not being shut off yet. They took the mess with them and didn't leave anything for me to have to clean up. The workers were polite, courteous and helpful.
