First inspection employee used antiquated bubble level. Got one diagram, number of piers and bid. Requested second inspection. I wondered why they didn’t question that. Second inspection totally different diagram, number of piers, and bid close to $10k higher. So I’m told both inspectors had different opinions. And a mistake was made. Is this good business practice. Even the owner Richard had poor explanation.

Very good. After having a great experience with this company repairing my home's foundation, I went to them again when I learned that I needed repairs on my sewer lines. They replaced and re-routed all the lines. Very reasonable price and they did a good job. I'd hire them again.

It went great. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. I hired them because they had an established track record (you want a company that is still going to be around if you ever need warranty work), yet their prices were very competitive. I wasn't disappointed. Aside from some VERY minor issues during the installation, the crew was efficient and professional. The best part is that it's been almost three years since the installation and there have been no issues! Again, for the price you cannot beat them.

DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! At first, the lady who gave us our estimate was really nice and friendly until we gave them our business. Then if I would call her with a question or a concern, she would transfer me to someone else instead of try and help me. Well it just so happened that we had to reschedule our repair 2 or 3 times due to rain. When the day before came, I was called at around 5pm and told the guys would be here between 12 & 1pm on Wed. 1:30 comes around and no one yet, so I call and am told "oh, we have you down for 3pm today". I then ask them multiple times if they will be able to finish today (same day as start) and am told multiple times yes. FFwd to 6pm and the foreman tells me they will beed to be back the following day to finish. I had other things scheduled to happen at our home and told him that would not be possible. The foreman did tell his guys to stay and they finished everything by 7pm. As I stated earlier, this happened on a Wed. I was contacted about payment the following day, Thursday and informed them I was paying with check (I had informed them of this prior to work being done also). The woman I spoke to on the phone, told me she would see if one of their guys could stop by and pick up the check and she would call back. After an hour, I called them back since i hadn't heard anything, and was told she was waiting for him to call her back and she would yet again call me back. Needless to say I waited all day Thursday for a call or someone to come pick up the check and nothing. Friday comes and I thought since they are a buisness, they would have business ethics and surely I would hear from them then. Waited all day again and nothing. FFWD again to Monday at 3:20pm as I am walking out my door and a guy shows up wanting payment and to finish pprwrk. I told him I was unable to do it today and he would have to come back tmrw. I called and spoke with Zack the Office Manager and he was so incredibly unbusiness like, a total jerk and as I was telling him that they needed to send someone else tmrw as I was never communicated with about this being right now. But instead of him recognizing that ALLIED messed up with being so unorganized, and apologizing, he tells me hes calling their lawyer to put a lien on our house!!!! Like are you friggen kidding me. I didnt withhold payment nor anything of that nature and waited for 2 days for them to come pick it up and now when its convenient for your company I am supposed to drop everything to "finish pprwrk". Uummm no! I have every single phone call recorded too as a "just in case".

Extremely well. The process was stressful, but the Foreman, David M was reassuring and informative during the entire process. The work crew was efficient and careful with the inside and outside of my home. After completion, I had some concerns. Called Allied, they immediately addressed the issues with ease and assurance. I choose Allies Foundation out of 9 other companies. I feel I made the right choice. I would definitely recommend this company. The price was fair.

they did a great job leveling the foundation. There were large cracks in the mortar for the brickwork afterward. I called to complain about it and they sent someone out the very next day to repair. It looks much better now.

A man showed up on time and introduced himself. He looked outside and walked around the perimeter, he then came into the house and finished drawing up his diagram with prices. He took a total of 10 minutes or so and handed the estimation over which showed 25 piers 12 breakouts and a 10 foot tunnel he said give them a call with what we decide. I was told to get multiple quotes so I had some other foundation repair companies come to the house. The first being Atlas who stated that no repairs were needed and a second AFF Honesty whom also stated no repairs were needed. The fact that they wanted to put 25 piers in the ground when 2 different companies said none were needed tells me that there is something shady going on with this company..

With a little more thought to their lifting method the brickwork would have survived better. A 3' crack in the chimney and several other large cracks in the brick after leveling. I called to get a referral for repairs and no response. The crew was very polite and punctual.

I was very happy with them. My house is an older home and it's a block. They were the first ones that I called and they didn't rip me off. The price was really good. They have about 14 trucks and only 1 truck does houses like this. They came out with 7 men and they had my house fixed in about 2 1/2 days. It was horrible. The people that owned this house and actually built onto this house back in the 50's, they built the bedroom over the top of an old sewer drain. They did not the disconnect the lines. It wasn't sewer but it was rain water. The old fill lines, they didn't take out, so rain water would leak in there. Over the years gradually it was seeping out. It's probably what rotted my sub-floor and a lot of my beams. I was very pleased with the crew that came out. They got along real well. Most of them were Spanish speaking but they have one guy that was English speaking. They were just very nice. They did a very good job. They go all over Houston and where ever they're called. They're a big company. I think they have over 1400 employees and 14 trucks. I was very pleased. You get a one year guarantee. I was actually in the house while they were leveling it and it was pretty bad back that way and I have to say my floors are all level now. That's what I'm happy with. I don't have to move out. It was very affordable also. I thought it was a great price. I had been told nightmares of $20,000 and $30,000. I thought they did a good job with what they had to work with. On the last day of the job was when we discovered the old sewer tank. Someone had put a board over it and dirt and one of the men's elbow fell into it in the water. So I had a sewage tank come out and they said it was just rain water so they sucked it out. We got it all filled up with bank sand and concrete, so I don't think this is ever going to fill up again. I definitely would use them again.
Description of Work: They had to raise the house. They leveled it. They put all new wood in one room from the ground up. They replaced all the wood, the beams and everything in a closet and a bedroom. They put double beams all the way around that bedroom and then they put all of the joists that go across every direction. Then they put another beam all the way across from one end to the other end of my house where we should have had one in the middle of the room. They re-did the closet and the bathroom.

Ah where to begin... Hired to fix a foundation, they showed us where in the house the wood floor would have to be removed. They said carpet would have to be pulled back. Price was $9400. No problem... Came in after the work was done. They used NO protection on anything in the house while working. They destroyed every inch of our home's 2 year old wood floors. You could see plain as day where they dragged their tools across the floor, from the door to each of the work spots then back out. Cement was all over the wood floor, including some well preserved foot prints made of concrete. And even better the holes in the wood floor they cut were twice the size they claimed. So, $8000 later we had a new floor installed. The poor carpet, also 2 years old, also had to completely replaced. NOT reinstalled as they claimed it could be. They CUT the carpet in every room (even a room they did no work in!) and rolled it up, throwing it out of the room. So there went another $1000. If that weren't enough, they tore part of our deck up, ~15% of it, without telling us this was needed. They were nice enough to leave it uninstalled with nails sticking up for us to play with. I didn't watch them work (I have a job) but I know their equipment is painted blue... I know this because their tools did a good job of beating the **** out of our trim and walls leaving our white walls with some lovely racing stripes... So another $9000 went to pay to have the entire house including trim and doors repaired and finished. We had paid $4500 deposit for the work. They sent out a gentleman named Luis who's look of horror when he entered the house was priceless. It was that "oh crap we messed up bad" look we've all felt before. He tried to keep his composure, ensuring us the floor could be buffed out LOL and offered $500 off the bill because any more would result in them losing money haha! We refused to pay, asked for a manager, etc. We were given the name and email of a manager named George. We were told to email him our concerns and he would get back with us. Well, that didn't happen. George is apparently very busy lol... So, having filed our dispute we waited to be contacted to figure out the deal. No contact came for a month at which time we got a call from collections informing us our balance was past due. I took the time to explain the situation, the collection person fumbled around trying to give a few hundred off. I said I wanted everything in writing but he insisted on settling the matter on the phone. Finally he gave in to their mistake, saying "well I guess I'll just mark the account paid and fire Luis". Trying to guilt trip US. Unbelievable. If only that were the end of the story... A few months later guess what? They put a lein on the house for $11,401! I'm looking forward to seeing this go to court! I'm guessing they'll be paying us the 11k

I called and spoke with Will to have someone come out and look at the garage foundation, I knew I had a problem since I could see the crack running the length of the garage and the brick pavers had become unlevel on the side of the garage. Will asked me the questions...do you see any cracks in the sheetrock? are the doors hard to open and close? My answers were no, but I still needed someone to come out. He informed me they could not fix my problem and would not come out. Sounds crazy but I had to go through many people and had to tell them yes, there were cracks in the sheetrock so they would come out. I have never had to beg someone for their services. Finally, the inspector came out and said I needed 16 piers to level the foundation. Hmmmmmmm. On to the actual repair...the team came out when scheduled and began the work. A total of seven men started the digging process. It was hard for me to watch as my azaleas were removed, the deck boards lifted, pavers pulled up and the driveway jackhammered, but I knew it had to be done. These guys worked extremely hard even through the rain. All 16 piers were installed, some as deep as 18 feet, all in one day. Everything was replaced exactly as it looked before they arrived and all the mud and dirt was cleaned up before they left. It looked like it did before they started. Great job. I do need to comment on the woman that came out on the job....I guess she was making sure the project was going well. Her attire was definitely not appropriate for the workplace, she should never dress like that around all those men and she brought her young daughter with her. It was not very professional at all. Richard Pacheco, the owner, needs to be aware of the issues I had trying to get them to come out...I can't imagine how much work has been lost trying to get someone to come out. And he needs to make sure the woman that came out to the job is properly dressed. Other than those two issues, the actual job was great.

He pulled up in a company van with the tires squealing jumped out of the driver's seat and immediately started yelling screaming and threatening my 7 year old daughter and when I called the company from the number I got off the side of the van they said it was none of their concern because it happened after working hours so the company has been informed that this is how their employees are representing them in their company vehicles and do not care at all that a grown man is yelling and threatening a seven year old little girl

The estimator arrived to my house early. I received a call asking if I thought they would still be able to give me a quote due to my house looked like it was flooded. My house doesn't flood since I live two blocks from the freeway the water dumps into the freeway. I have standing puddles form the rain that site in the driveway due to not having a paved driveway. It doesn't not effect the perimeter of the house where you can walk around. I told him I have had other quotes with no issue. He said he would wait for me to get there since it was not time for our appointment. Once we met I explained to him what I knew so far and the range of quotes we received. He agreed with the highest quote of $7500 without any details. He asked what my referral spent on their foundation. I told him $2000. He said that cant be as they don't come out for less than 4500. I told him I wasn't sure what all work they had done. He walked on the inside of the house with a level in his hand but did not use it. Its obviously the main beam in our house is where the floor is needing support. My house is just under 1100 sqft. He said it would take 2 days and that it would be 4500 in labor and the rest would be for supplies.. beams, joist and piers. He also said if we decide to go with them they would send someone out to get under the house to look at what all is needed. Isn't the purpose for the estimate...to find out what all is need to be done to include material needed to include in the quote???

Allied came out, used a 4 foot level, and in about 10 minutes made a drawing of the house and said the house needed piers all the way around the house and would do it for $10,000. Right after they left I had another foundation company show up to give me a quote. This second company made a drawing of the house, then brought out an actual computer measuring machine. They took the time to explain how the machine worked and what the numbers meant. They took the machine through the house and measured the foundation. Guess what - NO FOUNDATION WORK NEEDED! They said my foundation was great. They even put it in writing. Allied wanted 10 grand to work on a foundation that was perfectly fine. Allied never even used an actual computer/ machine to check the level of the foundation. I do not trust Allied Foundation and will never call them again.

So the gentleman came with a 4' leveling stick in hand and placed it in different areas around my house. He said my house was leveled, I just needed new floors, new doors and to have my windows replaced. Anyone with working vision and common sense can tell from the interior and exterior that I have serious foundation issues. When I tried addressing the obvious issues, he dismissed them as though I didn't know what I was talking about. So he leaves and tells me it's not necessary for them to take on the job. What's funny is that when i had other companies come out for bids, without mentioning any names while telling them this story, they knew exactly who it was and advised me that if I know of anyone hiring them for repair, to make sure you read every single line of the contract.

Allied was hired by the seller of our home prior to our purchase. This review is primarily for warranty work. Warranty appointments are VERY difficult to schedule, but they do honor their word. Make sure your work actually includes remedy for the problem causing your foundation issue. They leveled the home during initial repair but did NOT address the cause, which they said was not within the scope of their business. As a result, we purchased a home with prior foundation issues that been "repaired" and disclosed, as well as the 3 unknown plumbing leaks that were under the slab from original construction. Allied honored their warranty to level the slab 3 times in the 3 years after purchase. At the first warranty appointment, we also paid them for a camera test from which they told us there was a slant in the line but no leak. After 3 warranty repairs, they suggested we hire a plumber to check for leaks before any further warranty repairs would be done. We did and then found the 3 leaks. One pipe had a hole cut by a trencher and 2 had no glue. Repair of those leaks cost us $23,000. After repair and drying, work is needed again. Allied is coming back out for warranty repair (it took approximately 3 months to get this appointment), and we will have to pay the additional cost of $2500-$3000 to mud jack under the slab, and $850 for carpet removal/install. We will also have to pay for sheetrock repair due to big cracks and 1/4" gaps in our ceilings. After that, we still have a patio under roof that is pulling away from the home. Although it was repaired under warranty, Allied now says there is no further repair available. We will have to jackhammer it up and lay again on our own dime. I do recommend Allied based on their commitment to honor their warranty. However, I also caution anyone needing foundation repair to make sure their contractor, regardless which, actually repairs the problem causing the damage rather than just returning the foundation to level. It was a costly lesson, but a warranty does not ensure the problem was actually repaired.
