Description of Work: Ours was a small foundation repair job, requiring only 8 pylons. We got a total of 3 inspections and estimates. All inspections indicated exactly the same work. Allied was $800 cheaper than the next lowest price, so we selected them. The "As" above reflect the issues we were happy about. However, the following far outweighed the good. They mixed cement on our grass.The cement is cracked and caving in one of the areas they dug. Will this create future problems for us?They leaned tools against a very expensive sago palm.All the old cement and dirt the dug up, they laid in a flower bed. It never occurred to us that they wouldn't remove the debris. Maybe this is a question to ask if you hire a foundation repair company.

Description of Work: We need our foundation repaired. We called Allied Foundation Specialists Inc. They sent out a representative came out and drew up exactly what he would do for us. He gave us an excellent presentation and honored a 20% discount through being an Angie's List member. We were very impressed with the work that he offered. My husband actually drew up a contract with him. He was able to answer all our questions and let us know about things that we do and do not need. He gave us a life time warranty.

Description of Work: We contacted Allied to examine our foundation because our house was settling, and we had some cracks in tile and sheetrock. The man who came to assess the foundation came on the day and time of our choosing, calling to say that he would be about 1/2 hour late. He arrived within that 1/2 hour. He thoroughly examined our foundation and house, inside and out, and gave recommendations for repairs. He said that the areas that had concrete driveway and patios were within normal range of slope, but had a 50/50 chance of moving in future years. The remainder of the foundation was not within normal tolerances, and he gave recommendations and a proposal to place piers around the portions of the house that had settled, as well as a price to do the remainder of the foundation. We opted to have Allied do all of the work, 28 piers, and at the price quoted. When we called to accept the bid, we were told that a crew could be out the next day to do the work. We chose to add another day, so we could arrange our schedules to be available. The large crew arrived on time and did the work within about six hours. They were professional, courteous, and first rate all around. They cleaned up well at the completion of the job. We are extremely pleased with this company, its people, and it work. The lifetime transferable warranty is a plus.
