We were pleased with the promptness of estimate and timeliness of work. I have now tried repeatedly for 7 weeks to get my driveway repaired where it has caved in from their work. I have been told twice someone would be out to fix it and no one shows. I have received a call and they will be out tomorrow. Thank you!

My house had some foundation work done in the last 15 years and I assumed it was time for some more work based on some minor cracks around doors/windows. I'm about to start major renovations and I did want to ensure the foundation was in a good place before taking on all this new construction. I called in three foundation companies to inspect and provide quotes/recommendations. Being a single female, I'm always ready for someone to try and take advantage of me when it comes to anything to do with the house/yard (and car!). Allied came out, performed an inspection and made some recommendations, but they said no work needed to be done at this time. AND this matched up with what the other two foundation companies also said. I'm relieved of course - I wasn't looking forward to the price tag of foundation work. And I was so happy to see the honesty!! No work was done, but I did want to make sure I provided a review because so often you hear the negatives about companies. I would gladly work with Allied in the future...

setting up the repair was easy. price was good. promised 1 day service. I work nights and no longer live at that house so I wasn't able to babysit grown men doing their jobs. huge mistake. They didn't repair mortar at all. The concrete work they did on my porch and driveway was horrible. Didn't use expansion joints anywhere they were supposed to. had to have them come out a second time do mortar and cut out the concrete where the joints should have been. Once again didn't babysit, another mistake. still didn't fix all of the mortar cracks. only fixed a few areas that needed expansion joints and even those were halfway done and looked horrible. I'm getting this house ready to sell so I had to have them come out a third time to fix everything. By this time all of the newly poured concrete areas on my front porch and driveway had been poured and repoured 3 times with the repairs to shotty original work. so there's only a matter of time before those start cracking due to not completely repouring the entire area all at once and fixing it right, instead of trying to do the minimum amount of work possible and patching the areas that needed fixing. They also left an assortment of wood on my front porch for me to clean up and some pieces of plywood that were bigger than my door. all of my rose bushes were killed and thrown in the middle of my backyard, obviously never replanted as promised. My front bushes were replanted but as usual even that job was done halfway. I've already lost one bush we'll see how many more die because of this. I think if I had it to do over again, I would have gone with their competitors. More expensive but obviously you get what you pay for. cheaper price meant crappy work over and over and over for me. I will never use allied again, EVER! Every time I spoke to the manager there he never once apologized for the shotty work being done or offer a partial refund for our troubles with this job. Next time ill go with someone else for the job.

We contracted with Allied Foundation for our home foundation leveling. They indicated that they would have to drive 12 to 20 pile into each pier location. The initial crew showed up and started the job. This crew cut the root ball around the shrubs VERY small. That may not have been a concern except as they were doing the work on one side of the house they cut into the gas line. They told me they could not work at my house until the gas line was fixed, so they left my house to go to another job, leaving the shrubs in the sun with no soil on the roots to dry out despite me wetting them regularly. They showed the next day to finish the job. They finished digging the pier location and driving the pile in less than 3 hours and started leveling our house. They finished this despite the fact that I observed one of the piers installed with less than 5 piles. In this process they broke the water line to my house as well as several of my sprinkler heads. We proceeded on. They leveled one side first and we check all the doors and they were great. They then did the other side of the house. The main crew left in a hurry to go to another job leaving a couple of guys to fill in and clean up. Their version of clean up was to stack all the clay against the house as high as necessary to just call it level. Some of the rest was piled up against the fence with a promise to pick it up the first of the next week. The result of the level of the second side of the house resulted in a shift in the foundation on the other side of the house that "was" level and the doors no longer shut correctly on that side and we developed new cracks all in an afternoon. After several days of calls we were able to get the attention of the ownership and they agreed to correct the issues. Here is where Allied stepped up. They sent a crew which I would rate as their ?A? crew out. They added piles to each pier and releveled the house and kept me fully informed as they progressed. They cleaned up the yard. The only issue I had was they move the dirt from against the house and added it to the pile against t the fence with a promise the office would send someone oput the first of the week to pick it up. The office agreed to pay for the shrubs they killed and after 2 months they finally picked up the dirt. Allied is a competent company but like many need oversight. This includes requiring adequate root balls extracted for the size of the shrub, a pile count for each pier, a plan for excess dirt removal and final inspection of the house BEFORE the crew closes any pier.

I contracted with Allied Foundation for my home foundation repairs/leveling. Initial appointment was scheduled and repairs were made in 2012 which included life time and conditional warranties at a cost of $7000. In August 2013, I made an apt for warranty repairs as my house had shifted, I couldn't open or lock my front door, additional cracks and breaks in door frames, ceiling and walls, sloping floors. An inspector from Allied came out to verify and advised that warranty service would be arranged. I had a lot of difficulty scheduling an appt for the work. It was scheduled, cancelled, scheduled, cancelled. Finally I e-mailed the owner and expressed my concerns. She was apologetic and offered to send a crew for just the leveling of the front door area so a new door could be installed. After several scheduling mishaps and my requesting a refund, owner offered to pay for my door and installation, which I accepted. Leveling and door installation finally was completed in NOV 2013. I was able to again get an appt for the warranty repairs in Spring 2014, The crew did come out and was here about 20 minutes. They told me that there was too much water under my house for them to work and I would need to dry that out so that the repairs would last. So, I spent #1100 for gutters to be installed and cleaned out the French drain system that is installed around the house. Also worked on leveling out the yard close to the house in the back to aid in draining. I had an appt for the crew to come out on July 16. I had to take the afternoon off from work. They were initially suppose to be at my house between noon and 1. Then it was between 2 and 4pm. Crew called at 5:45pm to let me know they couldn't get to my house before dark and would have to reschedule. The office called right after that to let me know someone would call me in the next couple days to reschedule. I haven't heard from anyone. Today is July 30, I just called the office to try to reschedule. The gentleman that answered gave me the office number to call. When I called, no one answered. Went to voice mail. Recording said the mailbox was full and to call back.

The crew that they sent out was a little unprofessional. I understand that the workers have the work, but there wasn't a manager to interact with the customer. The work wasn't so great, I had an issue and they had to come back, and I will have to call them back because I am having more issues. They offer a lifetime warranty, but it has just been a year, and I am having problems. The price was good, but it was okay for the quality of work that I got.

I called Allied for a foundation repair estimate and they were able to come quickly and gave me an estimate. The problem happened with scheduling the job. When I was ready to do the repairs I specifically told the scheduler that it had to be first appointment on a Monday due to my tenant's work schedule. They kept putting us for the afternoon that I had to call them several times to re-schedule and it was a hassle. The same person that handled the scheduling was rude and he kept saying there was no notes in the system that it had to be in the morning when he was the one that took my calls. If the scheduler was more professional and efficient, I would have given them a higher rating.

Allied called me the week of the scheduled repair to confirm. Then they also called me the afternoon before to give me a start time for the next morning. With a crew of 10 or so men, they went at their job quickly and on time. I was glad I got a fairly good price for the work because they also ran four extension cords throughout my garage and house for the power they required, which I'm sure is going to show up on my usually low monthly bill. In addition, they were very rough with my landscape lighting, ripping out connections and in a couple of instances breaking the lights themselves. I was unable to fix two of the eight lights and will have to go get replacements. In addition, they buried my soaker hose inside one of the holes dug for a pier so I am going to have to cut off the hose and install a new hose which was not all that old to begin with, maybe one year old. There are clumps of black gumbo and dirt where landscaping mulch used to be and I will have to remulch the whole area across the front of my house. In addition, my front door now sticks, and a couple of sheetrock cracks did not seal. The bathroom door still does not close but it is on a side that only got two piers. The foreman told me that happens, and I may have to have my front door reframed to correct it. Another friend told me to give it six months and see if it doesn't settle first. I'll do that before I spend any more money. I will also have to paint my front porch because the cement color in the holes does not match the porch at all and looks awful. And the mortar they used to re-stick a brick that fell out of an arch does not match and I'm sort of afraid to pull off the duct tape they used to hold it in. I know it sounds like I had a bad experience, but all in all I got what I paid for, and I couldn't afford much. I think everyone was happy on the crew and it only took 5 hours to complete the job, for which I was very thankful since I stayed inside the house during all the upheaval. I would have to say the first crew that dug the holes were the cleanest and most methodical. It's the cleanup crew at the end that sort of shirked their duties and left me a mess to clean and fix. I feel that if a contractor has to use a client's electricity and water, or if there are additional expenses that come out of pocket (aesthetic or breakage or functionality), then allowances or refunds or coupons or something should be given the client. I was not told (but maybe it was in the fine print of the contract) that I would bear the brunt of any additional costs related to my foundation repair such as additional electricity and water or replacement of broken fixtures. It's the only thing missing in an otherwise quick and painless experience.

I called and made an appt. and they gave us an appt. for March 10 between 10-11. It was a no show. We came home early from being out of town to keep this appt. and I skipped my workout that morning. I even called at 10:30 to confirm our appt. and I was told "he will show, just give a little more time". I figured maybe he forgot to set his clock 1 hr forward, but no show all day we were home! I feel that a company that does not have the professionalism to communicate to us doesn't deserve our business.

I bought a house where Allied had already done work. I had the paperwork on the lifetime warranty. So I called them when I started seeing cracks in the house. The first person that came to my house from the company told me they would repair the piers they had already put in and put in some more. That person left no paperwork on price or the graph of what the plan was. I called the company over ten times in the two months waiting for my work day. I never got any of the paperwork or even an email from the company even though every phone call I had with them, they promised to do just that. The crew showed up and the crew boss used a simple level to show me how the previous piers needed no repair, so they proceeded to only put in new piers. The cracks got worse afterwards and new problems appeared, so I called them back. This time they said that it wasn't a foundation problem, but a water leak problem. They offered to replace my entire sewer system for me. I chose to stop calling them and would probably never use them again.
Description of Work: Initially, the first person that came out said they would repair the nine piers that were already in and would install seven more. On the day the crew came out though, the crew chief said that the nine original piers did not need any repairs. So they only installed the seven new ones.

Although initially successful at closing the primary crack, it reopened within 24 hours. In addition, the workers left my gate standing wide open, causing me to almost lose my dogs when I let them out after the workers departed. I have only a very muddy yard to show for the work yesterday. I do not wish to have any further work performed by this company. I understand that the clay soils in this area lead to shifting houses, but foundation work should last more than 24 hours! (Photos are before warranty work, after work was completed, and less than 24 hours later.) the people I dealt with were all very nice, but they were not punctual, and the work was not effective. Save yourself the hassle and money and just repair and paint the cracks from time to time! (BTW-my costs were apparently much lower than what they are currently charging).
Description of Work: Initial work-26 piers Just under 1 year ago, I had 26 piers installed. After ~6 months, I hired someone else to perform interior repairs and painting. 2-3 months later the same cracks that prompted the initial work had returned. I called and someone came out to perform an inspection. I was told 7 piers needed to be replaced and assured that the improved method they are now using would ensure success. Warranty work-7 piers indicated, only 2 repaired The work was scheduled for ~1 month after the inspector's visit. This initial appointment was cancelled the day before the work due to schedule unavailability. It was rescheduled for 2 weeks later on a Fri between 1-3 pm. At 3, I called and was assured the workers would arrive with plenty of time to complete the job. At 4, I called back and was told they would check and get back to me-the guys arrived shortly after. They performed repair of only 2 piers, worked well into the night, and were unsuccessful.

Overall they did a decent job for the price. They called the day before to confirm the appointment and told me they would arrive between 11-2. They were late and arrived at 4:30 and only worked for about 45 minutes. The guy said he would return the next day at 9am to finish the job, but it wasn't until 2pm before a different crew arrived. By this time it had started raining and all the dirt quickly turned to brown mud. There was a lot dirt left after they covered the holes and they poured brown mud throughout all the flowerbeds on top of black mulch. My flowerbeds are now completely flat and covered in dried brown mud. Not to mention they also broke my garden lights and were not going to tell me. They tried to hide the damage and when I confronted them they smiled and said they would have their supervisor call me. It has been 2 weeks and I have yet to receive a call from their supervisor. Besides being late 2 times, ruining my flowerbeds and garden lights, they did a decent job with the foundation work for the price. You get decent foundation work with these guys, but do not expect much more. They offer a lifetime transferable warranty.

We did not have a good experience with them. They poured a foundation and did it wrong. I actually called and talked with the owners son and he did not believe me. So I filed a report with them. They were supposed to put piles in, instead they put blocks in, so they did not do what they were contracted to do. They were cheaper than everyone else. Their estimate included a drawing of what the pier was supposed to look like and they did not put the pier in like the drawing. They did not do a good job. Make sure that you keep an eye out and be sure that they install the concrete correctly. The price was good. I would not use them again.

We had 32 piers put in. They were punctual and polite but the mess afterwards leaves a lot to be desired. Due to the time change they had to come clean the next day. I think most of the trash was picked up, but there is mud everywhere and not all of my items are put back as they were. I'm missing a pumpkin that was on my front porch that i cannot find anywhere. But I got what I paid for and they were the cheapest bid. I don't know about quality until i see if any issues arise later. I hired them because I didn't want to over-pay for the service. I think they did a good job, but not great. I was a little concerned about how they were measuring the lifting during the process. No real measurements were done inside my home, just used a level to check, which did not seem that accurate to me, but I don't know what they did outside. Also, they had to use my plugs in the home which kept tripping and the cords were muddy so my home got quite messy.
