Our initial meeting Steve appeared to be quite professional and concerned with completing quality workmanship . He was very adamant about following his multi-paged contract which included areas pertaining to; payment, multi walk through inspections with customer, keeping materials covered from damage, and warranties plus other subjects. The construction of our house was started and completed , through this whole process we NEVER received a call to complete any inspections as written in contract. Through the construction process all materials were piled outside the home site uncovered and soaked by rain. After the rough in plumbing was in place and slab poured I was informed that there were questions about the drain location in respect to the install dimensions ( I was not called). Once house frame was completed I found multiple drains were incorrectly installed. Year later the seams on the roof sheathing were causing problems with the shingles, they were buckling. Steve came out and in areas made the roof look better but he NEVER fixed the problem. Steve blamed it on the rain. Another year passed and we found an issue with our main water line, trench was only 8-10” deep. I called Steve, no response. Then I texted, emailed and mailed a certified letter-still NO response, Due to these quality issues and more I DO NOT recommend this builder to build a home. At the time, He didn’t carry an active license either even though his website said he did.

I'm a Realtor, I sold a clients old house while he build her a new one. He Did a great job. Included digging a well and septic, and metal roof. Every thing is impressive, solid quality, and she loves the entire job. An impressive point to me is that I called him to build my personal home on my lot about 6 months later. He couldn't do it, due to location. However he spent an unusual amount of time on the phone with me. He gave me suggestions, warnings, and things to watch for. He later texted other builder's names he would suggest for the job. He made nothing off of it, but was extrememly attentive, kind, and professional.
Description of Work: I'm a realtor, my client used him to build a home. Good experience all around. The house is impressive. He was building another home 5 times as expensive at the same time, she wasn't slighted for attention or professionalism at all.
