Description of Work: I had recess lighting put in my kitchen and in my hallway. From start to finish, from giving me an quote to installation, they were great.The guys did a great job they were very neat and didn't leave a mess. I will use them again.

Description of Work: I have been dealing with Zubras since 2004 and have always been provided with great service!

Description of Work: had two censors that were malfunctioning in two ceiling fans on a very tall ceiling. We didn't know what was wrong when they came out (I told him the switch was bad) so instead of being a quick fix, it was an all morning job to climb up, remove them, replace the remote function with chain pulls and replace the covers. One guy did all this for me and was professional and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: I needed an outside GFI plug installed outside to connect outdoor lighting. I also had 3 motion light sensors installed under a concrete deck to help scare off unwanted animals as I live on a creek. Ben came to my home and assessed the work and then sent me a quote by email. A time was then set to do the work and two technicians finished the job as planned.

Description of Work: Installed ceiling fan and worked one two others

Description of Work: Zubras was able to see me within a few days. They added 5 new ceiling fans, replaced 3 fans, added one switch and replaced an outside light fixture. Two of the fans had older remotes that had been on the same frequency. They had a little difficulty with the remotes, but tried several things and got them working like I wanted. The men were very polite, nice and clean. I was very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: I called and asked about an estimate and second opinion for my mother-in-law's house. She was literally having an anxiety attack, because some other electrician charged her more than $200 to do diagnostic testing, and told her the needed repairs would cost between $5400 and $20,000. I spoke with Ben, and when I described the situation to him, I mistakenly thought she was completely without power. He didn't have any availability, but stopped what he was doing to go check on her. |After Ben spoke with her himself, he determined that she did have partial power, and would need a service truck to come out and take a look. She told him she just didn't have the $75 (or whatever it was) to have a service truck come out, but she would call next week after she got her paycheck. |I don't know all of the details (like I said, my MIL was having an anxiety attack). But Ben called me back and said he really thought the previous electrician took advantage of her. By the end of the day, Zubras electricians had spent an hour at her house, and got all of the power back on. This was a Friday afternoon, and he told me earlier all of their service trucks were booked until the next week. They never charged her a dime. |Hopefully they won't get mad at me for writing this. And don't you dare call and ask for Ben and try to give him a sob story in hopes of getting free electrical work! But they definitely earned our loyalty. And I hear Ben has a thing for pecan pie, if you want to try your luck at a little bribery.

Description of Work: Fixed a throwswitch on my pool pump, replaced an outdoor GFCI, replaced a ceiling fan chain, fixed a worn out connection on a kitchen light. Same day service on the Friday before Memorial Day. They were outstanding and I can't recommend them enough.

Description of Work: I had a short circuit in an outdoor outlet box and called Zubra's based on ratings on Angie's List. An electrician, Dervan, called before coming out and arrived at the agreed time. He repaired the circuit and replaced a defective GFI plug. In addition, we asked that he add a spotlight on our garage soffit to illuminate our drive, which he did. He reduced the standard price for these services because we provided most of the material used and did not need other standard services (check main panel circuits, etc). |Outstanding professional service.

Description of Work: 2 hours worth of odd electrical work around my house. The technician worked very quickly and did not take any breaks.

Description of Work: I bought a deal for $166.50 for one GFI receptacle replacement. We had them do the work outside on a fountain; it took them 30 minutes for them to do the job.
