Came on time, completed the job quickly and charged a fair price. Hard to beat that.

They diagnosed the problem, which included crawling underneath my house to look at the wiring. They repaired it and even advised me about keeping it in good working order going forward. Nice guys.

Outstanding job. They were very professional and knowledgable. No surprises. Went very smoothly. Including the time it took for the cabling troubleshooting (2 hours) plus the fan installs and the new line pulled to fountain, it took a total of 6.5 hours over 2 days. They even remembered my Angieslist discount.

I called and made an appointment for the following day. I said I needed the appointment to be for the morning, and she said no problem. The next morning, around 8:30 a.m., Jimmy called and said they would arrive in about 20 min. They did. Jimmy and David fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. Because the price was much lower than anticipated, I asked if they had time to put in two outlets for me. They did that, and there was no extra charge! And if that wasn't enough, I had forgotten to mention about Angie's List's discount, and they were the ones who brought it up giving me 10% less than the original bill! These gentlemen were professional, fast-working, and very courteous; cleaning up after everything they did. You couldn't even tell they had been there except for everything was working now, and I had two new outlets. I will definitely recommend Zubras to anyone needing electrical work and especially if they have Jimmy and David coming to do the job. I couldn't be more pleased.

Perfect. They were actually able to come a few hours early due to a cancellation (they called first to make sure this was okay) and they were done within 30 minutes. The price was great and the two service guys were very nice and professional and explained everything they did to fix the problems.

The overhead light fixture in my mother's closet operated by pulling a chain to turn it on and off. Very simple technology, but eventually the chain broke off where it entered the fixture. There was no way to repair it and a new replacement fixture cost less than $5.00 at the local hardware store. I installed the new fixture myself. But when I turned the juice back on, the light did not function and worse, it apparently shorted out (?) the rest of the lights and outlets on the same circuit although the breaker was not tripped. The areas plunged into darkness included not just the closet, but the entire bedroom and both bathrooms. Not something one could live with for very long. Fortunately, the computer was still operable so I went to Angie's list and selected one of the names at the top of the electrician list: Zubras. I had had no previous experience with this company, but I was desperate and had no time to shop around for estimates. No matter that it being a Saturday they would charge time and a half. The electrician arrived in less than an hour and proceeded to re-install the fixture, which was a pain to get to [ceiling of a small closet w/o air circulation]. Everything was quickly back to normal. The problem was apparently something to do with the polarity, which meant I was the cause of the problem. I paid by check.

I had a bad breaker in my panel box. I called another electric company out and they immediately told me I needed a new panel box and then gave me a quote for $3,500 to do the work. I called Zubras for a second opinion. The electrican said I could replace the breaker and probably be okay for a while, but that at some point I would need to replace the whole box. I asked him for a quote and he said it would be around $1,100. That was a 1/3 of what the other company quoted. I called a third company and got a quote for $1400. I decided to go with Zubras not just because they were the least expensive, but also because the electrician seem very knowledgable and honest. The work went very smoothly! Took about 5 or 6 hours and everything is great! He was very detailed and labeled all the lines and the box itself. Before, when you looked behind the panel box it was just a big mess of wires. Now, it's all neat and tidy. I'm very happy with the results!

They were excellent. They came promptly, diagnosed the problems quickly, and fixed them perfectly as far as I can tell. It cost me $200, and I paid them $189 with the Angie's List discount.

The price was as quoted and I feel very reasonable, the customer service was impeccable both on the phone when inquiring about service & pricing, and from the electricians, who were friendly, prompt and professional. They also gave us a discount for being Angie's List members too. Highly recommended!

I was very pleased. They arrived on time. They did the little jobs without charging me more, etc. They did not leave any mess behind themselves. I paid 2 electricians for over 4 hours of time. They were pleasant and polite.

They did a great job, showed up on time, everyone was uniformed and quickly and professionally installed everything I asked for.

I called Zubras on a Saturday and they recommended waiting to Monday to save the additional emergency/weekend rate (appreciated that part). The house had been repaired by Zubras a couple times previously yet they did not send the repairman that knew the house and actually had in his possession a few extra of the relays. The repair team that came was very nice, helpful and experienced but had never seen the special wiring of this home. The relay was replaced but only after a couple trips (had to get the part from the other guy who was working on the other side of DFW). Office could never confirm appointments and each time blamed the service guy for not having called us (shouldn't the office have the info. too without punting??). So the extra time to diagnose the issue, get the part that they already had in hand and the poor communication was a bit frustrating. They did get the work done so given that and their experience with this house, I'll probably use them again.

They were easy to work with, punctual and professional. I would recommend them to others. The prices are reasonable.

Zubras was great. Got an estimate from Tom over the phone that was roughly accurate. The tech who came to the house called ahead to ask about the correct color to purchase for replacement outlets. The tech showed up on time, had a helper with him, and performed all the work requested in a timely fashion. I was pleased with Zubras and will definitely keep them in my rolodex for future reference.

From the woman (Karen? sorry if I mess up her name, but she was great!) who responded quickly (within 2 hours) via email, through the entire contacts...the man who did the estimate to Robert and his crew who did the job, I encountered nothing but interest, helpfulness, professionalism, and friendliness. They respected me, my house, my family, my needs. I would highly recommend them for any job. They asked what I wanted, did the work, double checked it met my needs, and cleaned up.

I was impressed with their responsiveness. Called on Wednesday and was offered a Friday afternoon appointment (somewhere between noon - 4 pm). They arrived at noon SHARP and were finished in just under an hour.

The appointment was set to 11:00 a.m. Tom called me five minutes prior to 11 a.m. and told me he was on his way. We briefly re-discussed the work I needed estimated. I was unable to leave my office to meet him, but my mother was present to allow him entrance and to assist. She contacted me at 11:20 to let me know that Tom had still not arrived. Based on feedback from my mother, Tom was professional, knowledegable and thorough. The estimated cost for each individual project seemed high to me, but based on other quotes appears to be comprable. He estimated $175 to hang the ceiling fan in my living room or $140 just to set up the wiring so that I could plug in the fixture myself. The cost for work in the master bedroom was the same price, and was $125 for the guestroom/office. In addition, he quoted a $135 service charge on top of all these other charges. I don't fully understand why this company has a $135 service charge on top of all these other fees. It seems to me that $175 for something as routine as hanging a basic ceiling fan is more than enough without adding a service charge. I will not use this company, I will not recommend this company and, in the current economic conditions, I do not understand why this company is trying to gouge its customers.

Robert and his helper called before they came (early) and every time they finished one project we asked did they have time to look at...They completed every electrial blip we had since 2001 when we bought this house! When the 2 ceiling fans were too heavy for the ceiling box in kitchen they waited while I ran to home depot and bought new fixtures. I've used this company before and will continue to sing their praise!!!!

I had gone two evenings without heat, because I had to use SEARS initially since I purchased the unit from them. After missing work and waiting on SEARS, they promptly told me that it was the plug,an electrical problem that they couldn't deal with. So I had to make an EMERGENCY call to Zubras and they came promptly and were thorough,professional and fair in price. In fact the office manager called me and stated I was charged too much and she would send the balance in a check! How fair and honest is that!!!

The guy that came had the stomach flu and had to keep leaving every 10 minutes to go somewhere to use the bathroom. It was a mess.

Very well. He investigated every possible scenario, but we could not reproduce the problem. He gave it his best shot, though.

I decided not to use them after I got off the phone with Tom due to the fact that I believe that if you want to be on the bid list for a job you are supposed to at least see what you are bidding on. Either it be a bid document or to the job site with a list of what is to be done.

My outdoor power sockets were not working. I had tried to fix the problem after checking what I believed all of the power plugs along the circuit. After spending approximately $50.00 at the hardware store, I called the professional. Zubra's staff was in the general area of where I live, so they came the afternoon of my call. It turns out that there was one more plug in the backyard that I had not checked. It also turned out to be the plug that was at the root cause of the problem. They replaced the part and I was able to turn on my Christmas lights.
