The electrical team, Ben and Jose, were very professional and answered all of my questions. I worked through the quote process with Robert -- again my interaction with Robert, mostly all on line, was very professional and he answered all of my questions and concerns. I would recommend Zubras Electric and the electrician team that quoted and accomplished the work to anyone needing electrical work accomplished professionally and at what I feel is a fair price.

I called midweek to schedule a service call and received an appointment for the day/time that I needed. The appointment was scheduled for 12-4. Ben called mid morning ad asked if he could stop by before the noon scheduled time. He arrived shortly after, repaired the light switch and told me what the issue was. I plan to replace two bathroom light fixtures and install a ceiling fan in the kitchen and asked for a quote. Ben gave me some recommendations about the size and style of fan needed which was appreciated. The quote was very reasonable and as soon as I decide on the light fixtures and fan, I will schedule another appointment with Ben. Great experience, will definitely use again.

Dean and Alan arrived early, worked professionally and efficiently, made beneficial suggestions concerning dangerous wiring in attic related to fan/light on patio. Could not have gone any better. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to use Zubras again and probably will do so next year.

It went very well. They were on time, professional, very nice, and did the work in a timely fashion. We've already called to have them come back out to do some other electrical work we need done (pull lines down in various parts of the house for cable/computer, etc).

It went well, Allan and his colleague arrived just before 9am and worked feverishly all day. They restored service just before 5:30pm. They cleaned up after themselves and were extremely professional. This is our second experience with Allan and we will request him by name again.

This was a GREAT experience! We had two different visits, the phone issue was very difficult to track down and the guys were so nice and persistent on tracing every possible problem area. It turned out to be an AT&T problem but they were so good about being absolutely sure and giving me good information to give to AT&T so they would take care of their part of it. Really helpful. The office scheduler, Christy?, I hope that's right, is so nice and really kept in touch. And they were EXTREMELY fair on their pricing. And they cleaned up!! I would definitely use this company again!

I think the company was good. The guys tried but I ended up having to call the phone company to replace an electric switch. It didn't have anything to do with my wiring so they replaced the DSL splitter module.

The technician was outstanding. I will definitely be using them again.

Contacted Zubras by email over a week-end about a quote on replacing my 100 amp panel with a 200 amp panel. Robert English promptly responded with an estimate. Robert offered to drive to Parker County the following Saturday to give a formal quote. Upon looking at my panel he stated that I did not need a 200 amp service, but rather a 125 amp panel would be more than adequate. He asked a couple of times if they could do any other items. I then asked him to install the disconnect and to look at my ceiling fan switches. He said that they work on Saturdays and offered to come the following week-end. That was great since I would not need to take a day off from work. Allan Robinson and his assistant showed up on time and work non-stop until they completed the work. Allan explained the 1 year warranty and said that they have a technician available for consultation 24 hours a day. I could not be happier as the panel was in dire need of replacement and the cost was very reasonable.

Alan and Edgar came out to the house. They were right on time, they worked quickly, they were polite, neat and completed the job to my total satisfaction. Could not be happier. Thanks Angies list for another excellent recommendation.

It went great, They are super, professional, prompt, kind, willing to explain, and very through. the cleaned up everything and left the areas perfect. I had a problem with a plug in the house and they were very easy to get on the phone and came right out and fixed it under the guarantee.

They removed the old fan and installed a new one. At the end of installation, they adjusted a fan noise with the lead weights. I was very happy with their service.

It went well, they were on time and worked very hard to get things right although some items took them longer than I thought it should have since the less-experienced one of the two guys was working on it, but the company credited me for some of that time which was respectable.

Excellent. They were affordable, on time, professional and friendly. They did not try to charge me for work I did not need (as it turned out, I already had GFCI in every reqired room/area except the kitchen).

The person came out and gave me a bid. He was helpful and we talked about several scenarios for the wiring and he gave me some ideas that we eventually used. They sent a four man crew on the start date and they were VERY punctual. As soon as they got in the house they went right to work. There was no small talk amongst them and they did not stop for lunch. I even offered them lunch and they wouldn't take it. They had to come out several times to complete all of the work and were punctual every time. One of the workers was idled for a short time during one of the days they were here because of inevitable logistical problems so I had him add a new electrial outlet in my masterbath. It took him all of 15 mins and they never charged me for it. (My wife was thrilled; we had been sharing one outlet which was inconvenient for both of us.) The only negative that I think of is that one of the workers was a smoker and I had to pick his butts out of my back alley drive, grass. However, this was a small price to pay. These guys are great! They even impressed my hyper-critical wife. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

It was a crew of 2, with the inexperienced one doing most of the work. He seemed to be in a hurry too. The 2 of them didn't seem to like each other. We had located the new light fixture we wanted and could of bought it for them to install. However, over the phone, I was advised that they would get it for us. When I got the bill, I questioned why the fixture was more expensive then we had priced it. The answer was: "we have a mark-up". That was not mentioned to me over the phone when I asked if I needed to get the fixture myself.

Circuit breaker had thrown and would not reposition. Had Zubris come out and check out what was wrong. They discovered that one breaker was pulling almost 200 amps, enough to melt the wiring. Also they discovered an open circuit, blown step-down transformer and a lot of squirrelly brother-in-law wiring that the previous owner of the house had done. They traced the open circuit outside the house to where an electric dog fence had formerly been installed, and truncated and capped that circuit. They also stubbed out the blown transformer and ordered a new part. The only thing that didn't go right is that they were supposed to call when the part was in, and they neglected to do that, so I had to call. But it turned out to be a weird part, it came in the day of the report, and they fixed everything awesomely!

They arrived early, which was a welcome surprise, and explained the repairs being made in understandable terms! They were efficient and effective.

We had a Federal Pacific breaker box in our 25 year old home and decided to replace it after reading a story in the Dallas Morning News about problems that brand has had. We contacted Zubras by email on a Saturday evening to ask about price and availability to do the work, and received an answer before 8 am on Monday. There was a fixed price for the work - $995, which was about half of what we had heard it would be from the news story and our neighbors - and they said they could do the work with a day's notice. Of course I would not have hired them strictly on price but combined with the company's glowing reviews on Angie's List and the 10%-off-supplies coupon, we didn't feel the need to get another bid and arranged to have the work done that Friday. The 3 man crew called my husband about an hour before they were due at the house to ask him specifics on the box so they could arrive with the necessary parts . They were prompt and worked steadily throughout the day with only a few short breaks. They encountered several obstacles -- the new breaker box is bigger than the old one, so some cabinets were in the way; the sprinkler system controls had to be added to the box; and there was something else about installing the box that I can't remember. My husband said that they were thoughtful and creative in resolving the issues, and that all the work was beautifully done. There was no upcharge in price even though they needed 2-3 more hours to complete the job than they had expected. They even rigged up an extension cord for the refrigerator to keep it running after they realized the job was running long.
