Electricians arrived 30 minutes early, brought all tools and ladders needed, and promptly started the electrical work. Both men worked in a focused manner and were finished before we anticipated. All work done extremely well. Last year, we had Zubras install three ceiling fans, one front porch light, and a chandelier in foyer.. We called Zubras again this year because they are quick, professional, and provide high quality installations at reasonable prices.

Other than the slight issue with our first phone call, they were professional, prompt and did a great job. They were very friendly and we will use them again in the future if we have further need of the services they provide.

A solid experience all around. Everyone I spoke with was professional, took care of business and did so at a competitive price. Robert at Zubras did not waste any time providing a quote to my wife after she told him what work we needed performed. Most importantly, Robert did not attempt to sell her any other products or services, unlike a highly rated competitor on this site that attempted to upsell my wife to the tune of more than $2,000. Robert answered all of my questions over the phone and there were no surprises. The work was scheduled quickly and Ben and another electrician from Zubras showed up for our job on time, were professional and they did a great job. First time that I have ever used Angies List, but I am glad that I did b/c I found a great electrical company in Zubras.

The electricians unfortunately did not communicate with each other, my husband let one gentleman know that we had recently had insulation blown into the attic. However, when his partner opened the attic access in the master bedroom closet insulation dropped on all of the clothes, he had not prepared for the event and if I had been made aware I would have covered the clothes and floor and kept things a lot cleaner. I was also surprised that the final cost was almost double the initial estimate which has never been my experience in the past when getting phone estimates.

We had just come back from vacation and 1/2 of the electricity went off in the house. Some things were one, some off. I flipped the breakers, but that didn't fix it. The AC was one of the items lost so I knew I had to get right on the problem. I called Zubras at 8am the next morning. A woman, I believe Christy, answered. She understood my need to have someone come out quickly but didn't see anyone available. She told me she'd call some of her commercial electricians and see what they could do. I was skeptical really. After about 15 minutes she called me back and told me someone could come out. She called me about 10 minutes later and told me they'd be later than she thought, 10 am. She apologized. I was relieved she let me know. Jim called at 10am and said he was heading my way and would be about half an hour. Once again I was happy he let me know instead of leaving me hanging. He arrived. I showed him what I meant, some things working, others not. He went to look at my breaker panel, nothing wrong there. He went outside and quickly determined that one of the main lines to the house was no longer connected, had melted and fallen away from the connection. He was concerned about the safety of fixing it without having the power company shut off power to the house. That would take much more time and money. He called in a backup helper and went and bought a meter base at the local hardware store so he'd be ready. They were able to repair the problem in 1 1/2 hours after the helper arrived. I am very pleased with his work. He was very knowledgeable and used good common sense. I am certain he saved me quite a bit of money and time as he was very capable and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I don't have a single complaint. I will use them again for any electrical work I need done.

They were wonderful. They were fabulous. They did tons of stuff for $1,500. They were wonderful in every way. Everyone that used them would be very happy.

I was completely pleased with the expertise & professionalism of the guys from Zubras Electric. I'd planned for accomplishing several electrical related projects at one time, and the service call went exactly as I hoped. In addition to knowing what they were doing, they brought all the right tools and ladders needed for the work. I've found that not always to be the case when having work done on the house. A few months earlier I'd had a door bell replaced by somebody who wasn't an electrician, and wasn't thrilled with the outcome. After that I decided to try professionals for the bigger work. It was a good decision. Two of the fans are in vaulted ceilings and I'd had concerns they would be difficult to install. It all went smoothly. I'm glad to have 5 functional ceiling fans this summer. I'm getting lots of use out of them!

Sales person (Robert English) on time, knowledgeable, good listener.Got quote to me in 24-48 hrs.... can't remember, but it was much faster than the two others being considered.Crews showed up on time and were very friendly and respectful of property.Dressed well and clean!Set lights to sensitivity level needed and reviewed all work with me, before leaving.Nice job and we'll use them again!Happy homeowner in Lakewood again!

, I have used Zubras Electric four times and each time they do great work! They are punctual and really work to help solve your problems. My first experience was with an intermittent plug outage and it was hard to trace the problem. No circuit breaker were flipped but 1 plug downstairs and 1 upstairs were working, then not working. Ben was very smart to ask me if I had college kids home using the hair dryer. I said yes, and it turns out the wires were loose in a plug upstairs that starting acting up when my daughter was plugging in or unplugging. I had him replace that socket and everything has worked since then. They installed a very large entry way light - excellent. Ceiling Fans - excellent. Garage lighting - excellent! I'm looking for more projects to use them on.

Sometimes you hear a great tune, read an outstanding book or see an exceptional play; and while not expected, it brings a deep level of satisfaction. And now, Zubras Electric has provided a level of customer care that I long thought had disappeared from the American work ethic. My work hours and time off change continually so when I called Zubras late in the week and asked for service the following Monday, I was hopeful but not expectant. The receptionist was very friendly and patient with me taking my request and advising she would see what could be done. The following day the owner called to confirm my request, gave me a bid and arranged his work schedules to accommodate my need. Today (Monday), Alan and Jose, the electricians, asked permission to come an hour early. They worked for an hour and a half, did an excellent job, throughly cleaned the work area and hauled the old fans away. And to my great surprise charged me only for the actual labor rather than the full bid price. It doesn't get any more satisfying than this. I give the Zubras Team my highest recommendation.

First time to use Zumbra's. Called after seeing the reviews on Angie's List. They were able to schedule us for the next morning. After installing a GFCI plug, our closet lights would not work Electrician was able to rewire so that the GFCI in the bathroom, did not interfere with the lighting in the closet. Explained to us the code to bring all electrical plugs within 6' of water up to code by installing GFCI. Also able to determine why a new outdoor light recently installed was not working due to the fact that wiring had been spliced and could not work with anything beyond 120 volt. This required the electrician to go into the attic, locate the wiring and find and discover the wiring had been spliced. Work was done quickly and efficiently and the electrician was very communicative about what was wrong and how he fixed it . . as well as pointing out how to resolve future needs. Thought the price was very reasonable.

They came promptly when called, did the work, were courteous and professional. Work took about an hour.

I was planning to go out of town for a few days and I realized that I needed to start using my porch light for security purposes because its very dark on my street at night and some vandalism incidents in the area recently. I started calling several electric companies on Thursday (I was scheduled to leave on Saturday), but they were all booked up and could not work me in. On Friday,I continued to call other companies, until I reached Zubras Electric at 1:00 pm. I immidiately was connected to an expert who could asess my situation and was very knowledgeable, with other companies, I didn't get past the receptionist and was told they're book till next week. I spoke to Mr. English and I explained I needed it done today before my trip, he understood my urgency and said he could send a tech before 5:-00 pm. Less than two hours later,by 3:00 pm, two very nice and professional technicians, Ben and Eric, showed up and installed my switch light timer. I was so impressed with the professionalism and the eager desire to help customers, especially during an emergency!I will be calling them back for additional electrical work that I have planned for my house.

Very pleased will always give them a chance to bid on projects.

I will use them again in the future and I will recommend them to friends.

It went well. Ben arrived when he said he would, took a look a the switch my husband had installed, told us where he'd erred in wiring it, and what repairs would likely be required. He also said that from our breaker and the load on current circuits we may not need to replace wiring, but simply change that circuit over to an under-utilized one (I may not be explaining correctly), which could save us a ton of money. Since this was an emergency weekend call (double rates), we opted not to do the repairs at that time. Ben only charged us one hour, which didn't even really cover his drive out from south Dallas (we live in Denton, but chose Zubras due to the good reviews). Ben was very professional.

We just bought a house and knew from the inspection that it would need some major electrical work. Everyone we talked to at Zubras was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They were very quick to respond to my emails, and were here on time to do the estimate and when starting work. The guys working on our house were here for twelve hours and only stopped once to get supplies; I never saw them take any breaks (which would have been fine, considering how long they were here and how much work they did). I work from home and they were very considerate of that and provided power to my computer so I could work. They had a lot to do but didn't forget the things we asked that were extra (like leaving an outside outlet when they replaced everything). They checked every single outlet in the house and made sure everything worked before they left, explained what they were doing as they worked, and cleaned up after themselves very well. Overall they did a great job! We would definitely use them again.

I called two weeks ago and got an estimate over the phone for replacing an entry way light fixture (it was about 18 feet off the ground). They gave me the estimate, and honored it even though I did not schedule the appointment for almost 10 days. They called before they came to let me know an approximate arrival time and were very punctual. I showed them the work ( and we actually found two more lights that had to be replaced between scheduling the appointment and when they came), and the two men jumped right on it. they were done within 90 minutes, and were thorough in clean up and making sure that we were happy with the results of the work. The cost for replacing three fixtures ended up being exactly in line with their quote for replacing one nd any additional work so there were no surprises.

He was early and checked out all the outlets and was in and out In about 1 hour.

This is the second time I have used Zubras. Excellent marks for responsiveness, promptness and professionalism. The work on both occasions was completed quickly and professionally. I had the same two man crew on both occasions and they would both be welcome to work on, in and around my house at anytime (and this is not something that I can say about all contractors).

The electrician called ahead of time and showed up just like he said he would. I explained the issue and he started working on it right away. He needed some more supplies so he went to the local Home Depot to get more supplies. He did not charge for the time to gather new supplies. Overall we were very happy with the price and the quality of work. The lights are working again, finally!

Excellent. Alan did a great job with testing/fixing the issues that I had. He took time to explain everything in detail. Very courteous and professional.

Called to schedule an appointment and explained exactly what I needed. Was told that it would be a two-man job and exactly what the rate would be. Both guys arrived on time and reviewed the situation. Got started immediately by pulling in a HUGE (not sure how tall it was, but I think it was a 16-foot model) step ladder! With zero room for error, they amazingly got it in and out of my foyer with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Changing the fixture itself was the easiest part of the job, and they handled that ease... They were in and out within one hour and did such a great job that I gave them a much-deserved tip.
