Zesty Maids was contracted by Spruce to clean my home. They were here less than an hour and did basically nothing. I’m too frustrated to list all of the ways they fell so ridiculously short. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! They are an absolute sham.

Terrible they hardly did anything. Total waste of money. Dirty fridge, dirty carpet, dusty shelves and sink. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Started out good and then it was just one thing after another. Most of which I never mentioned because nothing was too bad until 2 days ago. It was two girls I’ve never seen before. First off, they cleaned my sons room and bathroom that we’ve already discussed my son was going to be doing himself. When they said they were going to start upstairs, I thought they meant just the other parts of upstairs per the agreement. Not a huge deal though. But, then they used my disposable toilet wand thing and flushed the scrubber that’s supposed to be put in the trash. I suspected this because the water was blue after they had left and the toilet wasn’t flushing right. But I didn’t want to believe it right away because they’re supposed to be using their own cleaners. So I looked at the toilet wand dispenser and the handle was turned the opposite way of how I put it. I checked the other toilets, they weren’t blue. I dug through the trash to see if I could find one thrown away, and nope. I tried a wire coat hanger to see if I could fish it out, nope. I tried plunging it, didn’t work. So I called a plumber. He had to remove the toilet and guess what he found to be the problem… a scrubber stuck in the s trap. Zesty maids is denying doing that even though I was the only one home. And have pictures. And have them saying the toilet was flushing fine.. because it was, before they did that. They are refusing to compensate me for the damages they caused that I had to pay to fix. They have now cost me more time, money, and effort, then if I would’ve been just cleaning my own home. 10/10 do not recommend! Oh and also I had to leave partially through their visit, and they once again didn’t lock my door when they left, with they key they have been provided.

I hired Zesty Maids for biweekly service. Today was probably the 4th or 5th time they cleaned my home. I came home to find my dishwasher had been emptied, which was full of DIRTY dishes. OBVIOUSLY dirty dishes. I am now having to pull everything out of my cabinets and drawers and wash everything. When I emailed to tell them I would not pay for today's service because of this, the only response I got was that we'll talk tomorrow as payment is owed. NO apology. NO acknowledgement of what a ridiculous screw up this was and the time it is costing me. It is absolutely ridiculous. I would not only not recommend this company, I would say you'd be a fool to even consider them. Price I show is cost plus the $25 tip I left.

I hired this company based on the recommendations of two co-workers as well as reviews I saw on sites such as Yelp. Apparently, my experience was an anomaly because I was not impressed. I paid for a deep cleaning, but do not feel that is what I received. A crew of four arrived, and two could barely speak English, so it was difficult to communicate with them. I had to point out too many things that needed to be addressed and other things I didn't notice until after they left. For example, I had some liquid foundation that had spattered on the tile wall in one of my bathrooms, and it wasn't addressed until I pointed it out. There was also some blue gel toothpaste that was on the bathroom tile wall that I didn't notice that they didn't get until after they left. Both of these should have been obvious. I also had several pictures in my bathroom that were clearly not dusted. When two members of the crew first arrived, I specifically noted that the steel pan underneath the dish rack needed to be cleaned as well as that area on the countertop, yet none of that was done until I pointed it out as they were about to leave. I also had to point out that blinds and cabinets in one of my bathrooms were not dusted thoroughly, if done at all. After they left, I noticed that the soap dishes in both bathrooms weren't even cleaned. Additionally, I had to point out other areas in my den that needed to be vacuumed. I also paid to have the inside of my cabinets cleaned. I specifically pointed out that there appeared to be rust stains from canned goods in some of the cabinets, but the stains are still there. If they attempted to clean the stains and were unsuccessful, then they should have stated such. This would not have been an issue had I not paid additional money to have the "inside of the cabinets" cleaned. I also noticed additional areas that were either not vacuumed thoroughly or not swept up thoroughly. I also specifically noted that I had a trash can specifically for recycling after one of the maids threw some items in the can as if it was regular trash. Even after this discussion, they dumped my recycling trash into a large bag and mixed it with my regular trash. They also left several items in my house such as an old blue plastic bucket, a toilet brush, and two old plastic cups. I also do not like the fact that they request you pre-pay for their services. I have attached photos of some of the issues I had. I also contacted the owner to provide my feedback and she was very dismissive. Instead of taking responsibility for the poor job that her crew did (she only apologized for the missed liquid foundation on the bathroom tile walls) she inappropriate ly tried to put the blame on me.
