 + -1 moreTwo days later my computer is as good as new. Josh cleaned up the corrosion and the damage and even replaced the keyboard with one he already had. And all this for a fraction of the time and money that Apple demanded. In addition to being an extremely talented and steady computer repair professional Josh possesses the integrity you hope to find in a person you trust with your hard drive. His work environment is clean and well-organized. My experiences with World Tech Force have been 100% positive.
Description of Work: Someone spilled an entire glass of water on my Macbook Pro. The computer started making horrible sounds and then appeared to die. It would not boot and the lights would not light. I took the computer to the Apple store and they told me they would send it in to their repair facility and the cost would be a minimum of $1200 and they could not guarantee a positive result. I could buy a new computer for $1200, if I could afford it, which I can't. Josh has repaired computers for me in the past with stellar results. I called him and he told me to bring in the computer that same day. He said the sooner the better when there is liquid damage.

 + -1 moreCalled twice today (Saturday) with no answer and no returned calls, even though the stated open hours today are 11-5. Drove to the address listed and found only a residence, no business. Even called while I was in the area, hoping to get someone who would tell me where they were located. No response.

 + -1 moreWorking with Josh, the owner of World Tech Force was a pleasure. His explanation of the steps he was taking to restore my computer to me were clear and to the point. He repaired and upgraded my Macbook in just a couple of days for a reasonable fee. Josh is also qualified to work on PCs running Windows. Josh was always easy to reach and returned my calls right away. He was courteous and professional and I will certainly recommend him to anyone who has problems with or needs advice about computers.
Description of Work: Josh tried to recover some data for me on my Macbook. He also installed a new hard drive and additional ram.

 + -1 moreJosh is great First I went to Apple and they told me it would be 750 dollars to fix my computer. It is 5 years old, so I passed. The I called Josh of World Tech Force and he said that it would be closer to 100. Well, it was more expensive, but not NEARLY Apple Store prices. Given the age of my computer I decided to get a shiny new one. Josh, at no charge, answered questions before my new purchase and then for a very reasonable price, transferred all my stuff to my new computer. He even comes to you! Highly recommend!

 + -1 moreIt went very well, and I am grateful to find this new resource-- he appears knowledgeable, and ethical. I will definitely use him again for any other laptop problems that crop up.
Description of Work: There was apparently a loose wire going from my computer screen to my laptop keyboard and I had to keep jiggling the screen to make the picture 100% clear. There were dotted lines running horizantally, and the mouse would freeze up. I brought it to Josh at WorldTechForce, after reading many positive reviews about him on Yelp. Josh was professional and pleasant; his home (that he works out of) was easy to find-- near NW Highway and Skillman. When I booted up my computer (Murphy's Law) it was working fine and so it was impossible to demonstrate the problem to him. He spent maybe 45 minutes with me, turning it on and off so he could see what I was talking about, to no avail. It was suddenly working perfectly. While I was there, he helped me quickly troubleshoot a few other problems-- so I could tell he really knew what he was doing. He said he'd done this his whole life and mentioned a few impressive clients. He did not charge me for his time and said just to bring it back if and when it acts up again. I really appreciated his honesty, and generosity with his time.
