University Pool Services

This review is 10 years in the making, as Matt Snyder and University have handled my (many) pool issues (both inherited and ongoing) over the past decade and through two homes in West Plano. For anyone whom has suffered through incompetent, non-punctual pool maintenance/care guys, or has felt taken-advantage of by pool repair operators (whom speak a language all of their own) then do yourself a favor and give University a try. We have all reached that exasperated point where you say to yourself, "Look, I'm more than willing to pay a solid, fair (and not cut-rate) price for my pool care, if only the guys would just show-up on time, do a good job, and fix the things that are broken as quickly and economically as possible." Not only are University's guys absolutely punctual week-to-week, but whenever anything is off-kilter or out-of-whack between visits, an email directly to Matt brings an immediate response and knowledgable diagnosis. He has handled both minor and major repairs to my systems, always with satisfactory results. Yes, you can shop around and find somebody to do it all cheaper...been there, done that. But when the excuses grow deeper than the deep-end, and the pool resembles the Everglades on the Friday before the weekend party, you'll wish you'd gone with University. Yes, you do get what you pay for.

I was very pleased with Matt the owner, and the work. In addition to the major repair I needed, which was replastering, he took care of other pool issues that had been bothering me and gave me some good pointers. I do my own weekly maintenance and minor repairs, but when I need help I do not hesitate to contact Matt. At one point I thought I needed a new pool pump (a major expense) but he came out and told me that all I needed was a new pressure gauge. I would recommend Matt to any of my friends.
