Description of Work: Joe was very punctual and is a highly skilled craftsman. He showed up for my estimate with gear in tow and proceeded to dig 2 post holes to determine the level of effort with the White Rock in my area. His estimate came later that day as promised, and the quality of the work he does is very good (just look for the fences in your neighborhood with the TUREK sign and you will see). Joe does the work HIMSELF with his nephew so you are getting the benefit of the man giving you the estimate being the person actually performing the work. As such, I think the pricing is a little higher. To stain the fence would have cost another $1000 to $1200. If my budget would have allowed, I would have been proud to use Joe Turek (Lake Highlands product) to construct my fence.

 + 0 moreTurek built the fence in 2005. To this day, my fence still looks almost new. It looks better than most new fences. The quality and craftsmanship can not be beat. Top quality steel posts buried 3' deep and approx. 5' apart. Board on board, 2and quot;x4and quot;x6' clear western red cedar pickets, with top cap. If you want a fence built in a day, do not call this company. They take their time to insure quality of construction. If you would like to see my fence or talk to me about the quality, call Joe Turek and tell him that Richard referred you and he will give you my telephone no. You will not be disappointed. I am a perfectionist and i was not disappointed.
Description of Work: Replaced a few retainer wall boards.

 + -1 moreOverall it went very well. Joe has a quiet cinfidense to get the job done.
Description of Work: Joe came out and talked to my husband about the estimate of work. Approximately how much time would it take and the materials used. They check for cables and lines before digging. They removed old wooden fence and posts. Re dug new post holes for metal posts. Rebuilt new cedar wooden fense using metal faseners. Rebuilt two wooden gates.

 + -1 moreThey were fast and friendly. Basically, when they saw something wrong with the house that would make sense, they pointed it out and did not let it go unreported and that was really nice. They could not fix it, but they let us know about that and I really appreciate that. They built a very good solid fence. I would use their service in the future too.
Description of Work: I used Turek Fence service to rebuild my backyard fence. I last used their service two years ago.

Description of Work: Nice guys...seemingly. Never came out due to the fact that I was told that estimates were only done on weekends. I think that hurts this company. I know schedules can be demanding but when competition is so stiff I feel like they should pay more prompt attention to bidding. Just an opinion but I did get three other bids that were able to come out within two days of my initial inquiry.

 + -1 moreIt was great! No subs, they did a lot of things that only a few of the upper-end businesses do. No knots in the wood. They were willing to do custom work, and they incorporated ideas from the homeowner, and personalized the work. They did a great job!
