Description of Work: I had Tony Thornton give me a quote over the telephone. I estimated the sf of ceramic tile to be laid in my master bathroom. They were to also remove the existing carpet in the bathroom. He gave me what I thought was a very reasonable price for the job (I got no other quotes). I could tell that Mr. Thornton knew what he was doing when I talked with him over the telephone. He definitely knows the tile laying business. They were here on time. He brought along one helper. I am extremely pleased with the job that he did. In fact, I would rate his knowledge, professionalism, quality of work, as well as his pricing "OUTSTANDING." They were in and out in one short day. This is a former home builder. He not only does he work with ceramic tile, he also installs marble and granite. In fact, he does "remodeling" in general. Sounds like he can do almost anything when it comes to a house! He and his helper are the type of contractor's that you want in your home. I could tell from when they walked into my house, that they could be trusted. I will definitely keep this Contractor's business card for future jobs that I may have. I will also spread the word to everyone that I know of his great work! Again, I am extremely pleased with the work Tony Thornton did for me at a very reasonable price!! This is exactly why I continuously use Angie's List when looking for a good contractor.

Description of Work: I use Tony Thornton Tile Contractor to do tile work for me. He did tile work for me in the past, and I called him back a couple times since then to do more tile work for me. I have a very large living area that goes into a bar and hallway and he tiled all of that in natural stone. He created a beautiful marble shower in one of my bathrooms. He is currently in the process of laying onyx tile in another bathroom for me. He did the shower and around the tub with glass tile and regular tile. He used onyx tile in the floor. He is taking all of the old tile up from the floor and around the tub. He has finished the floor and is now working around the tub area. He is also going to do a lowered part of the ceiling and a back-splash. He has also gotten the painting guy and everything for me. He is basically remodeling my bathroom.
