After a hail storm in June 2012, I waited to have the roof inspected until September when it turned a little cooler. One of my neighbors used the Warner Company to re-shingle their roof and recommended his company. I made the initial appointment for the roof inspection and met him at my house. He inspected the roof and I also had him look at some rotten areas of fascia and soffit boards and at older siding in the back of the house that had some rot. With his estimate, I contacted my insurance company to begin the claims process. When the insurance adjuster came to my house, Mike Warner, the owner of the company, also met us there so that he could meet with the adjuster to ensure all of the known damage was seen and documented. The adjuster clearly saw how much damage there was and even noted some minor details that increased the value of my claim. After the insurance inspection, Mike and I set the work schedule for the work to begin work. The work project began with a carpenter who did the work to replace some rotten fascia and soffit areas. He also removed the gutters and the old siding. He installed the new siding and reframed the windows and door trim. Next, painters came to start scraping loose paint and do some initial painting near the roof. The roofing crew then came to tear off the old layer of shingles, re-nail the decking, and lay down new felt and shingles. New metal trim, vents, wind turbines, and flashing were installed and painted or color-matched to the roof color. The flashing was done much better than what was there on the old roof. The crew cleaned up really well; I’ve only found a few nails on the ground in some bush or flower beds. I was very impressed with their attention to detail in their work and in their cleanup. After the roof was completed, the painting crew finished all of their work to caulk, prime and repaint the exterior, including the garage door. The final step occurred when the new gutters with leaf guards were installed. Mike kept me up to date with the planned work schedule and status and I was always able to contact him if there was a question. He was on-site many times to check with his crew and to meet with me to see if I had any concerns. All of his work crew were friendly, hard-working, and had great attention to their work and cleanup. We have received many compliments from our neighbors and we are really proud of how it looks now.

We have worked very successfully with The Warner Company in the past on other types of projects. When contacted, Mike Warner came to the house the next day to see if our roof was properly situated for an efficient solar electric system to be of use to us. He climbed on the roof, took pictures, and drew up a plan that would provide us with the best results with no waste in product effectiveness or expense. He not only explained the federal tax credit as well as the electric company tax credit available at that time, but he took care of all of the paperwork required to obtain both of these credits. He worked directly with the city and the electric company to acquire necessary permits and was at the house when all inspections were done. When a part of the system we had chosen was on back order, Mike suggested putting in a higher cost replacement at his expense so as to not delay completion of our system. He has since followed up with us to ensure our satisfaction. After one year, we are averaging about a 40% reduction in the monthly electric billl. I highly recommend The Warner Company.
