Description of Work: I had a water drainage problem in my tiny backyard. I contacted numerous contractors to suggest solutions and provide quotes. I quickly discovered that most landscaping people didn't have a clue. I narrowed my search to 2 highly rated contractors, and I chose Texas Oasis for a couple of good reasons. They didn't try to oversell me and they were a quarter of the price of the competition. Their competitor would have turned my entire back yard into an unsightly drainage ditch. They highly recommended an industrial grade pump, and the price they quoted for that pump was outrageous. I could buy the same pump on the open market for a fraction of the price they quoted. Texas Oasis provided a quote that was less than a quarter of their competitor - including the pump - but they weren't sure a pump would be necessary... turns out we didn't need a pump and after Hurricane Patricia's torrential rain, the new drainage system worked like a charm. Texas Oasis is the way to go.

Description of Work: They replaced some dead grass. However, they should have told me that |it would have been better to wait til the weather was cooler. They |trimmed the hedges and did the mowing. They put out fertilizer without |telling me. I have a cat who likes to nibble on grass...and I worried |that she would get sick. Dave is slow to return calls. I may use them |this spring and summer.

Description of Work: Texas Oasis did a great job adding drainage to our side and back yard. The workers were very professional and worked hard manually digging the trenches and installing the drains and drain pipes. Now we are waiting for a heavy rain to watch it all work and solve our water pooling issues!

+ -1 moreThe company installed a drain pipe and grates to capture rain water and runoff water coming down the hill. The water will be channeled through an underground pipe that extends to the curb so that the water will end up in the street instead of in our house. The job involved cutting through the sidewalk, installing grates, digging a trench and installing plastic pipe underground. Although we have not yet had a torrential rain, we think it will work well. We are very pleased. The Company was easy to work with and did exactly what they told us they would do for the price they quoted us. We will use them again.
Description of Work: Texas Oasis installed a drain in our sidewalk that extended into the curb so that rain water/runoff would not back up into our house but would instead be diverted into the gutter.

+ 0 moreThe overall plan went as expected. They had to make a slight adjustment for the original french drain to continue work but the workers were knowledgeable and made the change easily.
Description of Work: They installed a larger drain for the downspouts on my house and my neighbors house and took it to the curb. They then reset and extended the stone walk way from my gate around to my patio. When they finished, the walk was beautiful and we could not tell where the drain had been run through the front yard. .

+ 0 moreOur side yard would flood every time it rained. We hired Texas Oasis to install a drainage system. When bidding the job the owner was very patient about explaining all of the problems that had to corrected, and what would be needed to fix them. They arrived right on time and had the job completed the same day. While digging they accidentally cut the Verizon cable line to our house. The job foreman called the owner as soon as we realized what happened and the owner came out immediately. He promised to pay for the repair to the line, which ended up costing almost 20% of the total job price. The drain has been wonderful. No more lake every time it rains. Hopefully we'll be able to grow grass there this spring. This is our second experience with them and we have been extremely satisfied both times.

+ 0 moreThey were good but a little pricey. They cleared out a lot of shrubs and bushes. They dug them up and got rid of them. They prepped the beds for something else I was going to plant. I thought their price was a little high. I would hire them again in the future.

I choose Texas Oasis Landscape based on David's through explanation of how to resolve my problem. The crew showed up and completed the work in the same day. The left the yard in perfect condition, you couldn't even tell any work had been completed. The crew took extra care in working around all of our Christmas decorations.
Description of Work: Installed 80' long surface and french drain tying in downspouts from mine and a neighbors home. Used solid pipe to ensure a long last solution.
